Harrolayne takes a five foot step back away from the insect, then throws a glob of acid at it. Touch attack: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 2 - 4 = 0 Missing wildly, she freezes for a moment, and then suddenly appears five feet further away from the centipede. Please move Harrolayne to just south of Kas.

Harrolayne would purchase supplies to scribe scrolls and to scribe spells along with some scrolls to put into her spell book. Just need to consider... She'll buy scrolls of colour spray, unseen servant, and endure elements, and the supplies to scribe those. Scribe colour spray: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 yes Scribe endure elements: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 yes Scribe unseen servant: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 9 + 2 = 15 no, by 1 boooo Harrolayne fails to scribe unseen servant this time, but will ruminate over it and try agin in a week. (95 gold spent) I'll say she bought 200 gp worth of scroll-making materials, which is enough to scribe 16 1st-level scrolls.

I have added the 107gp and change to her sheet, but there's nothing she's interested in buying at this time, save a few more pieces of canvas for painting, and to ask Oleg to sell her completed painting. Her Craft painting check on this work was 22, if that helps determine how much Harrolayne could get for it (if anything).

Yes, but with the cheap consumables, the problem is that they invariably become nickel and dime parts of the shares. Even in the early levels, they add a lot of book-keeping for very little value. Plus a lot of the time one might take a healing potion, only to use it on another party member who goes down. That's just why I like to spread out scrolls to the people who can use them, and potions evenly without worrying about their exact values. But I'm not the one keeping track of money in this campaign, so I don't really have skin in the game.

It's from before her time, but Harrolayne can use the obscuring mist scroll. I tend to think of scrolls and potions as party loot, rather than shares. Everybody benefits from the wizard casting a scroll or the fighter drinking a blur potion, etc.

Harrolayne retrieves a roll of canvas from her pack and unrolls it on the table. It's the painting she was making when they first met her in the forest. "You could try to sell this. I doubt you would get much for it, but if you'd like to try, we can work out a fair commission for your troubles."

I strongly suspect this guy stole the egg from a nest somewhere and was headed to civilization to sell it when it hatched and ate him. Harrolayne can certainly act as an interpreter, but with her +1 Diplomacy bonus, we don't want her as the dragon tamer. :) Seems like the dragon speaks perfectly good common, however.

Harrolayne merely sits on her horse and waits. The boggard doesn't appear to be hostile, and the others are far better suited to dealing with the niceties. She glances at Garum occasionally as her new companions attempt to communicate with him, and she finds herself fascinated with his features, and in her mind, begins imagining him wearing a battered top hat and waistcoat, perhaps with some sort of umbrella hooked over one wrist. Thinking of an umbrella, she realizes that she's getting a bit of sun sitting here in this clearing, so she pulls her parasol out from its binding and snaps it open.

Harrolayne, never one to do the talking when with a group, allows the other to converse with the boggard. Instead, she keeps an eye out on the undergrowth around and behind them, left the boggard in the window be a distraction while more creep up on them. Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 While peering into the underbrush, she notices a fascinating butterfly, which takes to the air. Harrolayne follows it with her gaze as it lazily flits about the clearing.
