Thank you Keldor :)

GM, I am happy with your second option. I kinda like the idea that Harg becomes a recurring NPC to some extent. I trust his concept in your hands.

Thanks again.

Hey all.. After going quiet for awhile, I have decided to drop from this game.

I did enjoy building a pf1 character again. I enjoyed the magus power, and yall's characters are really fun. GM, you are doing an amazing job with the details and everything!

I have moved almost everything over to my discord channel for PbP games. Coming here was fine at first, but as my own distractions/work/new meds have changed I have tried to remove some things. Narrow my scope of my life a bit. Trying to have one more thing off to the side, is just a bit too much for me.

I truly hope yall are able to continue, and FINISH!, this AP. I believe in all of your dedication.

If anyone ever wants to do PF2 or SF2 (when it comes out) you are always welcome in the discord. You can always find me there.

I will keep my rss feed connected for awhile, so I should see some replies. But I am going to try to close this all down soon.

Thank you all again. This AP has been one HELL of a journey through the interwebs.

I have a +7 to Disable Device. Though it would be much better if I took my armor off (-4 ACP). I think Thawm has +9.

But when we look at Knowledge Engineering Keldor has +15 and Basil as +16.

So go for it Basil :)

Swinging wildly at the massive creature.

With the weakness of the electricty, the final strike makes contact and the last bit of electricity inside the blade moves into the inner workings of the machine. With a pop and a snap, various capacitors and other strange alien components break. The machine falls to the ground.

I believe I dropped it with the weakness to electricity. But barely

They bring with them the understanding of magics and causality. If you wish to communicate your part in the release of this creature, I see no need avoiding that."

He looks down at the body. "That all being said, I don't believe they will take your confession poorly. If they hate anything more than this devil, it is high tech robots." He glances over to Basil, "The kind that walk the land, with metal claws and built in hard light guns, not an intelligent android such as yourself."

"What I am trying to say is, if you feel the need to be honest with them, I will vouch for you. You might have caused the mess, but you also cleaned it up. You are honorable. They will listen. I have to head back to camp either way. We can tell them what transpired." Leaning down and cutting off its head with the blade. "You killed their boogieman. It was locked awhile for awhile. I try to be patient with my strikes, but my time with the Ghost Wolves has pushed me to charge in a bit faster."

With a deep sigh, the arcane energies draining from his body and sword, "This was a step in my own training. A nice denouement for my training. If you will have me, I would like to join you on your journey. I know you are getting into other dangerous things. You have my sword, and my spells. For what they are."

The attacks are normally +18 with all the current status changes
(Grappeld, Arcane Accuracy, Arcane Pool, Power Attack, Studied, haste). I added +2 for the Flank.

Quote:
Harg: Are you accounting for the -2 two-weapon fighting penalty in your attack calculation? It looks to me like it should be static BaB +7, Str +5, Black Blade Enhancement +2, Weapon Focus +1 for a base +15 to hit. Circumstantial bonuses are then: Haste +1, Flank +2, Studied Target +2, stacking Enhancement +1, & TWF -2. So 7 + 5 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 1 - 2 = 18. So yes, a 37 to hit and threat and a 26 to confirm, which does confirm against her aura of menaced AC.

So I can spell combat, and do something like mirror image, and attack. That has the -2. With this I could attack all my normal attacks, AND get a spell in all with the -2.

But if I do a Spellstrike and am delivering it via the sword there is no -2. In this case I would not have any multi BaB attacks, just the one single spell/attack combo. Good for a Move and Attack

Spellstrike:

Quote:
Instead of the free melee touch attack normally allowed to deliver thee spell, a magus can make one free melee attack with his weapon (at his highest base attack bonus) as part of casting the spell.

If I do Spellstrike and want multiple attacks too I would take the -2.

BaB +7
Str +5
Black Blade Enhancement +2
Weapon Focus +1
Arcane Pool +1
Studied Target +2
Haste +1
Flank +2
=21

25 damage of that is Electricity. If it crit it does 90 damage total

Damn still getting used to pf1 again My to hit with Haste, flank, Arcane Pool, and Studied is actually +19. Not sure how I got the bad math before. So that should have been 37 to hit (with crit possible) and 26 on the confirm.

No kicking intended. Just had not chimed in on the discussion at all.

I hear you. Never want a surprise GM decision that messes up the group. Good thinking.

Moving on is fine. I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. :)

These guys seem super cool with magics. Teaching me magics. I have had time with them as well. I could totally have communicated about what exactly Gauntlet is.

I would have said its a magical entity that merges with Keldor. A powerful magic.

If that helps provide any relief. Since I went there to learn, I likely spoke a bit about my own knowledge.

Sorry all. I tend to have a hard time with walls of text. Its come to my attention that my whole friend group thinks I have some form dyslexia. Even the people who would know.

I will try better at keeping up.

To keep up this time, I had to skip some of the posts. Honestly this explains a lot. I think I am on the right track with what is happening in the story though.

But I am here, and I am trying :)

Quiet for awhile, watching the people mix with the tribe he has been with for awhile. With a bit of a smirk on his face while they learn what has been going on. Harg follows along listening where he can. Though he has been distracted by his swords mumblings.

When it comes to actually hunt for the Blood Ghost. Harg starts off by climbing up a ridge to get a better look. Once there he works with the group to find a clear path through.

Climb: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Survival: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

My time with them, did I learn anything about The Blood Ghost?

Dwelling on what his sword wanted to bring up. {I will communicate that later. We will have time}

Listening to Xol-Nomag, staying quite while the others discuss what they want. Knowing that he will join them no matter their decision.

That sheet looks pretty up to date. It includes things pretty late into the AP, including Zag's stuff she gave you.

As for what money items where given by Poly for end of the book I am not sure. I think most of that was the reward for the job. The lootsheet did remind me you talked me into giving you 1500 gp of the reward ahead of time.

Shaking his head, like there is something in it that needs to get out, "Well, I can touch on some of that at least. The sword says this Unity is in you. I wonder if we can track down this Unity, or more of its spawn, whatever it may end up being."

Looking down at the blade for a second, then back up at Basil. "Well. This explains it then. My blade has informed me," he says as he taps the blade with his hand. It is put through a loop and not fully sheathed, so the blade is exposed, but still looped through his belt. "It has said that Basil here is different. You have learned something, or remembered it. It suggests I follow you, or whatever you are planning on doing."

"Any idea what its talking about?"

Happy to relay the quest. Feel free to Post as my sword any time you wish. Otherwise I might make him mumble to me often, but any bigger thing can totally be you driving it.

Seeing Keldor, Harg walks forward with arms outstretched. "It has! From the looks of you, you have been through your own journey."

Moving to go see Basil as well, "Good to see you as well Basil. Yes I have also had a bit of a journey. My sword here, well it has some awareness of events around it. It convinced me it was time to leave Torch and seek out this tribe. They taught me much of my magics, as well as trained me more in my martial abilities. Of course the sword gave me a subtle clue that once friends show up I should think about pivoting, and my training is done for now." Laughing with a deep hearty laugh, "Looks like that time is now. Do tell me, what have you been through."

Looking over to Thawm studying with the mystics, "I see you found some assistance. I hope all is well."

I will keep an eye on the threads and when its time for me to jump in I can. No rush. Will let everyone conclude their story threads without a new variable.
