There were a number of reports earlier (my own included) about people who changed their email addresses needing to sign up with an older email address. At least in my own case, when I did, my library went missing, even though I ordered things since 2020.

For people in this situation, what should we do to ensure a smooth transition as you migrate the legacy libraries? Should we:

  • Not touch anything so that your dev team has an easier time addressing bugs?
  • Change the store email address to match the latest email address on my legacy account?
  • Contact customer support to get this situation handled directly?

I worry that if I update my email address I will mess up the library migration somehow.

Seconding the reports above about poor handling of changed email addresses.

I've changed my email address a few times over the past decade, most recently late last year. I couldn't reset my password with my current address, despite having made a purchase under that address as recently as last month.

The only email address that allowed me to reset was last year's email address. But when I logged in, none of my purchases showed up in the library, even though most of my purchases have happened since 2020.

Also what about Drow? Are they now just elves that live underground? Or would you recommend changing the Ancestry of some NPCs like Volluk Azrinae to something different entirely (I thought Hobgoblin might be fun)?

I have been calling them "Cave Elves"; one of my players also happens to play a character with the Cave Elf ancestry. In the supplementary material to Sky King's Tomb, underground elves are given the name Ayindilar. The inhabitants of Yldaris elves don't really fit the traditional "Drow" mold, anyways, and so I think all you need is the terminology change.

Hobgoblins would be fun, though. You might need need to insert more generations between Quara and her ancestor that made an agreement with Belcorra. And, of course, you'd lose out on the cool art if that's something you use at the table.

You might consider replacing the Barbazus with Vordines. Barbazus were one of the first monsters released, in Age of Ashes, before the game balance really settled, and they're known for punching far above their weight. I personally think they're fun to play as a GM, but some players find them less fun to play against.

Vordines have the same level and vibe as Barbazus, but seem a little more in line with level 5 creatures.
