Male Half Elf Rogue 8 (HP 51/51; AC 23/15/18; F+6, R+14, W+5 (+2 trap, enchant, fear), Init +5, Per +13 (+4 trap))
Just to let you all know, I may be out of commission for a week or so as I am currently suffering from extreme pain (due to impacted decaying wisdom teeth, joy), and am unable to concentrate on anything until I get rid of them (which will hopefully be a short time from now). I've gone through the last of a prescription strength pain-reliever and am now only surviving thanks to binural/isochronic beats CD I happen to have for pain. Here's hoping for a Wednesday extraction.

As the party gets ready to move on, Hanethes looks around carefully, attempting to find any dangers. I'm good with my +3 resistance cloak. Every saving throw but Reflex for me is horrible. :P Perception

"If that's it, our final battle was rather... anticlimactic." Hanethes says with a disappointed sigh. "But I'm known to put my foot in my mouth a few times, so perhaps something else is about to happen."

I forgot my hasted attack. Aldori Dueling Sword Hasted Attack (Greater Invisible, Flanking)

Also, please replace rapier with term 'Aldori Dueling Sword' in any of my past and future mis-identifications

Hanethes whispers his thanks as he fades from view in an even deeper transparency. I love oxymorons like that. This time moving more swiftly, Hanethes moves into position with his mithril rapier raised, and tries to locate a position near the Hag's flank that he can attack from without being observed. Invisible again, Hanethes first uses the mirror to peer around the corner of the hallway towards the voices, if he is able to. Then he steps out into the hallway proper, moving a bit more forcefully towards their vocal but as yet not visible host, gun in one hand, rapier in the other. Stealth (Taking 10)
He tries to keep aware of any traps along the way as well. Perception for Traps (Taking 10)

After a quick glance, Hanethes shakes his head. "None that I can sense here. But there may be more below. These places are always filled with traps. As to youth, I have quite an abundance of it already. Not as much as my elven ancestors, but more than enough to keep me young and happy without becoming too serious."

I have to admit that I've DM'd a few threads that have just had to die, either they got boring or people stopped posting (or there may be some correlation there). The first thread I DM'd on here was a blast, but was mostly without structure. The fun thing was that it worked best that way. It was an investigation, intrigue, plot adventure. I had a few players drop off on me, and incorporated their deaths into the quest. It was amazing. Then there are the few games I'm playing where things seem cool and exciting, and then the DM drops off the face of the earth. That's only happened once or twice. The last one, is unfortunately, due to a playstyle conflict between my roguish fighter and the Paladin of Iomedae in the Curse of the Crimson Throne. I was basically forced to drop since I no longer felt like I was getting anything done, and the Paladin was forging ahead with his ideas before I could even talk about mine. Se la vie. I loved that character, and the adventure path too.

"Which wall are you going through, Kanthuun?" When he knows which one, Hanethes studies the wall carefully for traps, hoping to prevent disaster for his friend, should he attempt to walk into it and fail. Perception (Take 10)

Hearing the call to yield, Hanethes holds his attack, but keeps the mithril blade close enough to the body, if he can do so without suffering consequently from the fly swarm, to warrant a genuine threat. Not sure if you still need a Ref save or not.

Now being invisible, Hanethes attempts to avoid the cloud of flies in as creative a way as he can think of, if at all possible, somersaulting beneath or above the cloud to get behind the closest daemon. Acrobatics
Here's to hoping they don't See Invisibility. With a quick thrust, from behind the daemon, he attempts to slice it to its core. 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 12 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 20 (ignores Dex bonus)

Hanethes rapidly draws out his rapier and gun (with silver bullets). He releases a bullet mostly without aim at the closest daemon. 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 12 + 2 = 23 (touch attack)

Perception
Nope, I didn' see nuthin'. Sighing in satisfaction at disarming the trap, Hanethes follows the others into the maze. "At least it's not made of flesh. By the way, it's someone else's turn to put their arm in a sphincter, if we come across one."

Hanethes nods sagely. "Save it for when we need it." He keeps his eyes on their surroundings, searching for any more traps or anything out of place in the chaos that surrounded them. Perception

Hanethes remains calm, perhaps even nonchalant as he leans back and watches the whole thing. His presence seems to exude some natural charisma, while he himself is fairly quiet. Using sociable feat to grant +2 to everyone's diplomacy checks for 2 rounds. (I guess the first two rolls.)

Sorry everyone, I'm back.... :( Took me a while to sort out some irl stuff. (And my therapist says I was using roleplaying as an escape mechanism. I said, Duh.) EDIT: Do we still need gunpowder?

"Our tasks there aren't yet complete, but the goal is within sight... in a manner of speaking." Hanethes says quietly. His usual happy-go-lucky attitude seems to have been sobered by his recent descent into nightmare.

As the healing spell takes hold, Hanethes' wild gaze fades away, leaving behind his normal somewhat humorous intelligent gaze behind. Although they are a little haunted, still, as though the effects of his disorder were not easily forgotten. "Well, it is... nice to be back. I..." A strange silence comes over him. "I'm grateful. No more cows or spoons, and that music, that horrible.... I'm not even sure I would call it music." He shudders involuntarily. "No, it is definitely good to be back, and not have to hear that nightmare melody anymore."
