male Halfling Oracle 3
I used to have a lot of fun at this campaign.
I was hoping that being out of the dungeon - and the faction thing - would make things interesting for me again.
So, unfortunately, I have to inform you that I will leave this campaign. Sorry for dropping out just after we have started a new module. Thank you all for a great time!
male Halfling Oracle 3
"Huh, I was asleep all this time? I had the most curious dream. It felt perfectly real, too." Before leaving Kassen, Gunder asks a few locals whether anyone knows a woman named Moltan Vargidan. He also checks out the place where he remembers her house to be - just to see if it is still there. He doesn't want to meet her again, but he is curious to learn whether she really exists. He also double checks his inventory to make sure he really bought the mornigstar, torches, and rations. (And if it turns out he only bought them in his dream, he will buy them for real now, before leaving town.)

Gunder creates a Cloak of Darkness, half to impress Madam Vargidan, half to protect himself - just in case she and her cultists plan to sacrifice him to their alien gods tonight. Then he looks her in the eyes and says: "Then teach me ... show me, if you can't simply tell me. Something from the darkness between the stars has been reaching out for me. It whispers to me - but I don't understand what it is, or what it is trying to tell me. I wanted to learn more, but nobody seems to know anything about the void, or those who know are unwilling to share their knowledge." Or, when they are willing to tell they turn out to be murderous cultists, he adds in his mind. "If you have a door that will give me answers, I will gladly open it and step through. Just show me the way."

"Thank you, Madam Vargidan." Gunder enters before he continues. "In fact, I had the most curious dream last night. But you probably know that already, don't you? By the way, my name is Undertable - not Uagma. Your prophecies must have misspelled my name. As for how you may help me: answers would be nice. The dark tapestry - what do you know about it?"

Still at the breakfast table: Gunder's eyes widen as he hears Elizabeth talk about cultists. "Cultists you say? Cultists are bad - we shouldn't get involved with cultists. Did the pathfinders mention what kind of cult it is? Maybe something with tentacles and dreams? No? And did they mention where the cult's base of operations is ... is it here in Kassen?" He nibbles on a bread roll nervously.
"I'd like to rest here for maybe a day or two more. But after that I am ready to leave." Gunder uses the day of "rest" to ask around in town whether anyone knows the strange lady he met at the party.

Gunder wakes up - more confused than before. That was the oddest dream I have ever had. I wonder if it has anything to do with what that strange lady told me. Knowledge Religion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 Maybe when I dream of eating whole stars that just means I should get something to eat. 'Give in to the breakfast' - thats probably what she meant. Downstairs he meets Garuneh and Liz. "Good morning! Did you also have weird dreams last night? What's for breakfast? You were talking to pathfinders? What did they tell you, Liz?"

Gunder tries to hide in the shadows as well.
He wants to be alone while trying to make sense of what the strange lady told him. How can I join them when I don't know who they are or where I can find them? He inspects the shield she gave him, looking for any clues.

A note on armor (hopefully the last for a while):
Shopping:
So he should have 214.05+410+1.5-0.3-15-8= 602.25gp now. Concerning the gem:

Level 3 stuff:

Wagah-Nagh-what? Gunder is puzzled by what the lady whispers to him. When she leaves he picks up the shield she left behind and tries to follow her as fast as he can (But with his base speed of 15ft she could of course outrun him if she wanted). "Wait! I don't understand. Lets talk! Don't run away. Please." Diplomacy (to make her stay and talk): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

Gunder voices a strong interest in the Ring of Swimming, due to bad experiences when trying to not drown he had recently. He also wouldn't mind taking the Elemental Gem and the Horn of Fog. He also buys a small Morningstar (8gp) from the blacksmith - after making sure he is not disturbing him and Bria with anything. Will post level up stuff soon.

I'm okay with the new initiative system. But I also didn't mind the old system. I don't have that faction book. Is the system the same as in the PFS guide? Is there any faction that goes well with Gunder's outer space background? Or one that could have been the cult he joined in Kaer Maga?

"I think Roldare mentioned something about being separated. But I agree we should go upstairs and get him. I'm sure he will be happy that we found two survivors from the other group. Liz, do you think our two undead friends here can accompany us and deal with those bloddy skeletons at the stairs?"

The potion feels heavy in Gunder's hand.
I'm sure she is a cleric. If I heal her, she can probably heal the rest. Unless she used all her spells already fighting the skeletons. But then again she still has this unused potion. The skeletons probably surprised her in her sleep and defeated her without any fight. For all I know she is just as useless as the boy upstairs. "To hell with it. We are heroes and we are here to rescue these kids!" Gunder infuses the potion to the cleric woman. If she awakes: "Good morning, dear! We are here to rescue you. But everything is not going according to plan. Can you cast healing magic? If yes, heal the elf, and then the fallen. If no, run! See the blonde woman at the exit? Run to her. She'll lead you out."
male Halfling Oracle 3
Gunder turns around to Liz, but sees that she has already stabilized Garuneh. "You are already doing the right thing, Liz. Just keep your hand there and put some bandages on it." He searches the unconscious women for potions, wands, or blunt weapons.
male Halfling Oracle 3
"Someone stop that pony! Or it will break the spell!"
Gunder withdraws from the skeleton and begins running south, towards the unconscious women.
If we are all going to die in here anyway, we might as well rescue the human human girls that we came here for. And now is the chance for them to escape, while Asar is under our spell.
male Halfling Oracle 3
"Stubborn girl. Why can't you ever just run away when we ask you to." Gunder moves one step away from Asar and tries to stop the bleeding on Bria.
But no success, and on top of that he probably also provokes an AOO from SK3. "Damnit, get those skeletons away from me. I can't concentrate on my work with them around."
male Halfling Oracle 3
If everyone gets extra actions, does this mean Aldous can drag Bria two times 5 feet? When Aldous arrives with dying Bria, Gunder will make a 5-foot-step to not provoke AOOs (to N54, assuming that Bria is at M55 now) and then he will cast his las healing spell on Bria. CLW: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Then (as his move action) he draws his sling.
