Male Human Gunslinger/Alchemist 6/1
I don't trust a word anyone is saying right about now. Right, thanks uhmm Reese. Jack says with a smirk. Walking to the bound prisoner he circles him a few times studying his face, looking for any other clues as to how he knows this man. He stops in front of the mage and with the flick of his wrist the many holed knife appears in his left hand. With a smile Jack grabs one of the mages bound hands and spreads his fingers out on the table. He places the blade over the little finger, hovering it over the extended digit. OK Malfius, tell us what we want to know and you keep your digits. What is going on here that would cause you to attack this town's sworn guardians? Where were you last night and what were you doing? What is the Witch Queen's designs for this town? Jack will keep the blade at the mage's finger until all questions are answered. If at anytime the answers seem false or he is reluctant Jack will start cutting into the digit at the joint. Sense motive (Reeve)=1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Well we got him, now what? Jack thinks as he slowly paces in front of the mage being held by Farfig. Hold him tight lets get him bound and gagged. He says nodding for Jace to help Farfig. Keeping his pistol trained on the mage's head Jack looks to the guards. We need a place to question this scum in private.

Jack moves closer to his target loading his pistol as he goes. He raises a lanky arm and instinctively shouts with a snarl. Jace, Flash and Slash! He than fires a shot at the mage that flares into a bright ball if it hits him. Fearing retaliation he drinks his prepared elixer surrounding himself in a shimmering shield of force. Round 2 Actions, Init = 25, AC = 21
Shoot at mage with flare shot = 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24 Dam = 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 (he only takes half) Flare shot = Target is blinded unless he makes a fort save (DC15)than he is dazzled. Not sure how far away he is from me if he is within 20' its a ranged touch attack and point blank shot will take effect. If not the range on the pistol is 20'. Round 3 Actions Init = 25, AC=25
Cast shield on self. [alchemical cartridges and rapid shot makes loading the double barrel pistol a free action)

Jack watches the other two rush toward the mage and gives a sigh. So much for preparations. He advances on the scuffle drinking from one of his many concoctions along the way. As he does his arms and legs get longer and he takes on an almost bestial visage. Initiative = 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 (pistol drawn)
AC=21 Ooc: Does his coat have any markings simalar to anything we saw in the cave? After I move how close am I?

Jack stops for a second before deciding which way to go. "Those guards knew us. I have no clue what's going on but I don't think we are liked here. It seems like they tolerate us but that's about it. I will attempt to hold my tongue and let you do the talking Jace. Farfig keep doing what you've been doing. I vote we head into the town and see if we can learn any more about whats going on." Jack moves his gun into a more well seen position. Don't want anyone thinking were easy marks. OOC: Jack will stay quiet and let Jace do the talking. He attempts to look menacing to anyone that may try to rob them. Unfortunately he sees most people as trying to rob him.

Jack looks at the men saluting and rolls his eyes. He loudly "continues" a conversation with Jace as they walk. "So I told him not to mix the potassium with the trolls blood or it might melt his face off, and that's why we call him O'l melt face. Poor sod. Sense motive = 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

So far I am enjoying it. Its nice to not know whats going on and just get to play the character you want. I will be playing Jack's "7" Cha which means hes not much of a smooth talker, very gruff and to the point. The scars on his face and body along with the green hair just add to it all. Can't wait to see how well the gun thing works out but I am in no rush for combat.

"Don't Sir me you know better than that." Jack says with a scowl. "Our visit is none of your concern, now get back to watching the bridge." He states with obvious sarcasm in his voice. Jack mutters to himself a bit more as they pass the guards and continue across the bride.

Jack smiles and nods to the guards waving with one hand. He scratches and itch on his lower back (close to his gun) with the other. Somethings not right, I think we are about to be surrounded. He whispers to the other two. He mentions smugglers and I remember driving a cart loaded with hidden items over this very bridge. Well I've done worse in my life than smuggling. I think. Jack ponders this as they cross the bridge.

Careful when we get to the guards. We may not be welcome in this area. If the guards want to cause us trouble lets not cause too much of a scene. Jack continues along the bank, he slides his pistol under his vest and behind his back. Yeah, were going to look real innocent trying to cross this bridge. He thinks to himself. Sleight of hand to hide gun:
Greetings Gamers! Woldiangames.com is excited to announce that we are starting a new ongoing game in our campaign world/gaming community! This 1 to 20 campaign game using the Pathfinder rules is named Cthonia. Cthonia is a sheltered and mostly unexplored land of jungle that is mostly avoided as "too dangerous for civilized folks." Savannahs surround the jungle providing stomping grounds for the larger of the multitudes of dinosaurs that inhabit the region, known to the natives of the area as The Thunder Gods. With the trade between points west and east growing, there is a great need for "Monster Road" to become a safer trading route as several recent tragedies attest. This is drawing all manner of explorer, great beast hunter, and trailblazer into the area. Can a young group of adventurer's make a difference ? Will they be the ones to unlock the mysteries of Cthonia? Only time and adventure will tell. To see the campaign material for Cthonia go to: http://www.woldiangames.com/Woldiped...ex.php/Cthonia To see the legends and geography information for other regions of The Wold go to: http://www.woldiangames.com/Woldiped....php/Main_Page To see the main website entrance go to: www.woldiangames.com The Wold is here to stay! We are not one of those games or sites that will disappear just as you are getting interested in the game and your character. So if you've been looking for that quality game that does not go away, we're your site! The Wold is an Original Campaign World, using the Pathfinder game system. Originating in the early 1980's, it went online in 1997. It has evolved into a very large website with several hundred pages of campaign information. We currently offer 10 permanent ongoing games and many other pickup games for those members who want more. There are a surprising number of women playing with us. Play by post occurs on our self-made java programmed message boards with their own dice mechanisms, and auto-archiving features. We offer a Message Board called The Giggling Ghost where our gamers can chat "in character" and head out for various "pick-up" adventurers. There are also a series of private boards that allows the players to talk and discuss just about anything in an "out of character format." These boards helps us create that all important sense of community and friendship which is a part of any good group of gamers. Also added is a board called The Catacombs where all character shopping occurs and The Black Genie Center where all Woldians may go to help develop new original things for our campaign world. To visit the Games Page to check out the ongoing games, go to: http://www.woldiangames.com/games_index_career.htm Please contact me if you are interested in joining this new game or if you have any questions. I'll be glad to help. Just let them know that MattK. Sent you. Thanks for your consideration,
