I want to thank all of you for making this enjoyable.
I'll make a temporary pause from pathfinder until the release.
If someone is interested, i found a similar pf2 scaling rpg, with low Magic item dependency it's called 13th age.
It's what i was hoping for pf2, Maybe the release will be better than this, Who knows.

The proficiency damage is a good idea.
I'm going to do a level based damaged increase:

Lv 5 = +1w
Lv 9 = +2w
Lv 13 = +3w
Lv 17 = +4w

And the magic item gives the old +1/+1, so when you find a +5 sword at lv 17 you will have 5w (base + level damage)+ 5 damage (item bonus) that is similar to the 6w you should do with normal rules (the averange damage is more or less the same).

I wish that in the final version, they adjust the proficiency of all classes and use that to add damage to the weapons.

After some testing, we come across the phrase "These special statistics can be adjusted only by penalties,
circumstance bonuses, and conditional bonuses."
Almost all items don't give that type of bonus.
So you can't use that, only effect that for example make you fly or telepaty.
Statistics of the form can be altered only by druid vestments, that make you substitute your statistics with the forms one (so you can only keep you armor class, attacks, movement speed etc in the form, if yours is better)

Crafting is a part of p2 but we hate that if you don't have the right weapon you are almost useless (Fighter/paladin/ranger).
Binding weapon damage augment to level instead of items gives martial classes a more satisfying type of play imho.

With my group we will test linear scaling of damage (5/+1w, 9/+2w, 13/+3w, 17+4w or something like that) and bring back +1/+1 magic items.
There will be 1 less +w damage die but the +5 weapon should compensate it.

Bestial mutagen will add +1w and the normal bonus from +2/+2 etc

Magic weapon will be +1/+1

Magic fang +1/+1 on a player, +1/+1w on npc or fixed statistics.

What do you think?

Yeah, it should be every 4 level starting from 5

I think you can't use items bonus with the forms,
"These special statistics can be adjusted only by penalties,
circumstance bonuses, and conditional bonuses."
The only way to use potency item (because the bonus is an item bonus, not conditional o circumstance) is use druids vestiments, that substitute your bonus to the form bonus (ex. If you have a +5 sword, you use that damage for the attacks, instead of the form damage).

Polymorph spells says that equipment merge with the form and passive bonus remains.
Let's take Dinosaur Form of a trex, heightened to 5th for example.
The spells says that you do 1d12 with the bite, plus another die for the heightened spell.
If you have a +2 weapon when you merge, you maintain the bonus to damage and hit (+2 / +2d12)?
Same thing with +2 armor, is giving bonus to the form?
