Human Witch Hunter 1
I knew I'd regret leaving my sword at home...

I'd like to hear from Kendra as well, since this town is still unkown to me for the most part. Though I'm certain about something: we should stay away from the Laughin Demon tavern. Zokar has the habit of serving corpse chowder: a group of merchant recently disappeared from the town and the paesants suspect that it was him.

I did it when I went undercover in taverns and public places to find some info, though I'm ok if we go all together as a group.

Well met Kendra. The others are fine. We went into the crypt to find clues on what's your father was investigating, but what we get was giant vermins and undeads. I came here to see if you were right. The others are with father Grimburrow. I can accompany you there if you want, otherwise I'll stay here and rest: I have a minor wound, nothing that I can't sleep off.

Glad we sorted this out. I'm not lying: I won't keep anything hidden from Grimburrow or Kendra. I'll donate money to the Church as soon as I have any, but right now we need supplies. I'm sure the Church will be happier with a gold donation than with a bunch of arrows they probably didn't even know existed. Let's march on. Jonas will keep descending into the crypt and if there's nothing there, will head back outside, taking a good look around. Perception 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

I'll tell you what I need: some healing liquid and some arrows, 'cause those thing punched harder that I tought and my arrows are just scratching them. I'll repay the Church later with the possession I'm taking now if that makes you feel better.

But I don't see neither the Professor nor the Church fighting evil spirit at the moment. If there's someone that is fighting vibe beasts that shouldn't be alive anymore, it's us. So I don't think the Church will mind a little defiling if it's for a good cause. I'd rather be an alive sinner than a dead saint at the moment.

Nice job Cyler! Let's see what we have here...
Of course, I'm willing to take all the arrows if nobody else wants them. BTW, is anyone keeping track of the XP?
Human Witch Hunter 1
Well Peri, looks like we are in this together. You can pay your respect to Kendra, Lorrimor's daughter, after we go back to town. For now, we could use your help. We were about to inspect the crypt when those undeads rose up from the groud.

brand indeed does only 1 point of damage, but I used the destruction judgement at the beginning of the round, so it's 1 additional damage to every damage I deal until the end of the encounter. And I score a confirmed critical, so this should usually mean double damage. Therefore, 4 points if I'm not mistaken. Seeing that the undead is much more tough than he expected, Jonas withdraws from this combat, backing up from the thing.

Mother, don't leave me now. His right hand lightens up for a second, and touches the forehead of the undead in front of him.Spoiler: I cast brand and touch the zombie engaged in melee with me. Touch attack1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21. This will deal the zombie 2 points of damage, hopefully ignoring his damage reduction. DC 13 Fort ignores. In case zombies are capable of attacks of opportunity, roll for casting defensively. Concentration DC 15: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
EDIT:That looks like a critical. Confirmation roll for 4 damage total: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

Seeing that his sword is no good agaist these foul creature, Jonas will switch to his trusty bow: perhaps an arrow in the brains will be more effective. He takes a step backwards from the nearest zombie and the fire the bow. My next turn I will take a 1,5 step backwards and attack with the bow. Don't know exactly where I am so position me where you like. Also activating Destruction Judgment as a swift action, will last till the end of this combat. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 161d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Jonas looks at the others, like he's saying are we sure about this, then takes a deep breath. Follow me he says, as he takes point with his luminous talisman in hand, the other hand on the hilt of his sword, just in case. Perception and Initiative.

You are right, Eva, the last thing we want is more problems with the locals. Jonas sits on one of the house chairs, trying to get some rest. And I won't defile a burial ground without a permission from the priests. I think you should ask them tomorrow morning. If they won't allow us to go to the crypt, then it's the Harrowstone we're going to. He stretches his arms and yawns. But that's for tomorrow. For sure. If you are alright with that, I'll go get some sleep now.

Corpse chowder? That's disgusting. We must stop this desacration.

There is no Gather info Skill for PF. You meant Diplomacy? In any case, I choose to take 20 to the check, meaning that I spend the whole day looking for relevant information. The result of Diplomacy would be 20. If I cannot take 20, I take 10 instead. By casting disguise self twice (cast when nobody is looking, taking 10 to the Disguise check for a total result of 24), I will look for info while disguised for 20 minutes. I will slightly alter my height, facial features and have dark hair. I will also leave my coat and hat at Kendra's home. This way I'll hopefully get more info without making the locals too suspicious. Jonas spends the whole day in taverns and other public places, carefully listening to what the locals say. He spends some silver coins for a beer and something to eat while doing so.
