Anthor, Gorgan, Shaeyra - if you're reading this get the heck out of here, nerds!

So I am going to be running Strange Aeons once I have finished reading the last books of the AP. I have a solid group of 3 players cherry-picked for this specific adventure. How detrimental would this be (considering the fact that APs are typically balanced around a suboptimized, balanced party of 4 PCs)? Or might this be... a positive? Basically, should I stress hunting down a 4th player?

Also, any other ideas/suggestions/tips for running the AP itself? I am thinking 15 point-buy, 1 campaign trait/2 randomized drawbacks, humans only (for easier horror, fear, immersion, what have you - the players seem to be sold on this), some sort of harrow deck character creation with "pools" of classes to pick from for each player to allow randomness AND party balance. Note: each of the 3 players thus far as really into randomness in character creation.

I am incredibly excited for this AP! Cheers, folks. Thanks for any input!

One of my great joys in tabletop RPGs is the party dynamic (which is why I am so bummed "whatshouldiroll" is down!). So far, my group consists of a witch (Alley Witch/Hex Channeler), a bard (Street Performer, focusing on archery in combat), and some sort of monk (unchained I believe). The GM made us roll for stats (I greatly prefer point buy, but am the only one in our group who feels that way haha) and rolled pretty darn well (18, 16, 15, 13, 12, 10). The bard probably rolled the lowest - topping out with a couple 15's.

I have a few ideas that I'd love to discuss with you folks. They are as follows: cleric of Cayden Cailean (probably hidden priest?), Zealot vigilante of Cayden Cailean. Regardless, my character is going to have Profession: Brewer. I'd also probably steer away from using the rapier favoured weapon aspect due to already playing an inspired blade swashbuckler currently.

I am open to other suggestions as well. I did however want to ask a couple questions about some of them. What do you folks think this group is particularly lacking/in need of?

Would a cleric be a bit overshadowed by the fact that there is easy access to churches etc. due to it being mainly set in Kintargo?

And this might be what I am most worried about: would a vigilante be stepping on the toes of the bard? I'd rather not nudge into anyone's "cool factor" or spotlight or make them made null.

I am beyond excited for this AP and for your input! Cheers, folks.
