Exo-Guardians

Andriod Technomancer/1

Thanks Kate for a real fun little scenario, and GMing so well. Think I might run it for our group so must go and read it now.

Thanks once again, really appreciated it and the fun players too.

Sorry for being late with the details.

Player Name: Paul Fowler

Character Name: Granit 9 (his first adventure)

Society Number: 12784-705

Faction: Exo-Guardians

Boons: None

Exo-Guardians

Andriod Technomancer/1

Granit-9 spends the journey back shaking his head from side to side as his aural networks stabilise. He is still doing this as he enters Chiskisk's office, "P..p..pleasure to have h..h..heard the m..m..music with you Lycos of the Sanctum of the Ten Trees, though less decibels and synth beats would be easier to assimilate."

He smiles when Chiskisk in able to get the agreement he wants.

Thankful he can get out of the place and adjust his networks for normal sound, Granit nods and says, "Been more than enough excitement for today, I´m sure Chiskisk would appreciate having some more time with Lycos of the Sanctum of the Ten Trees" If androids could sigh with relief, Granit would do that, but he just looks blankly forward with slightly brighter leds.

Granit-9 shrugs his shoulders, not really understanding this need for fashion that affects organics.

"Shall we discuss this further outside? This noise plays havoc with my audio controls." the android says with no expression, but pointing towards the exit.

Exo-Guardians

Granit looks shocked at the amount the man thinks will make this all right. However his external expression hardly changes, its just his sensors seem to dim. He looks to the talkers in the group, to beat the man down, or to discuss this outside. Instead he casts a spell, a sound of soothing music from the whales of Castrovel that help calm any situation.

Granit, politely declines the offer of a drink, as he sees the angry man react. He casts some magic to create a and extra hand that goes over to the man and starts to dry his clothes with the napkins on the neighbouring empty table. The hand proceeds to mop up the mess on the floor, picking any broken glass and putting it in a nearby disposal unit. Replying quietly to Zahvos "What with that musak sound and this, cann't wait to let my transistors and diodes rest. And why would I need cleaning magic, only really useful for organics, like yourself."

Casts telekinetic hand.

Granit-9 looks on Oh now my aural sensors are to go through some sort of stress test. "Lead on then Baxter, no doubt this will inspire us all" he says with more than a hint of irony.

Granit opens his datapad and quickly looks up data on ghorans and anything else he can about the groundsman of Jetembe Park. But for some reason the link to the infosphere seems somewhat weak and information is difficult to transmit.

Having failed to secure one of the creatures, Granit tries to help Gamuzali in his efforts to grab one. He uses his powers to bring a hand into existence and use it to stroke the fur of the squox behind it's ears. "Be still, this is our friend petting you." He moves towards the squox.

Granit looks at the small furry creature and just asks in a deadpan voice, "Would you like to be a pet? which I am assured is not the same as being a slave."

He tries his hardest to entertain the squox by making some other happy squox noises sound behind him.

Granit-9 turns to his computer to make some readings of the area, hoping to find some signs of the Squox, and seems surprised by the result as a positive reading seems to flicker on the screen.

"It is indeed a strange request, I hope you will not keep a pet a prisoner, restrained from liberty." the android says, not really understanding why anyone would want to keep a pet. But if Lycos of the Sanctum of the Ten Trees wants something, then they were bound to at least help him with his wishes, in keeping with their instructions from the society.

Granit shouts in a loud voice "Best run off home with your friends, if you know what's best for you." and with that the rifle that Baxter dropped, rises from the ground, lifting into the air and points at the rat, so that the rat can see the rifle just hanging there in the air.

Casts psychokinetic hand to pick up the rifle and turn it towards the rat.

Granit-9 moves behind rat 1 and tries to hit him from behind.

Granit-9 would continue to chase after the rat with the package, not really expecting too many Attacks of Opportunity, as rat 2 has just thrown a grenade and rat 3 has not acted yet. So would try and move to cut rat1 off from his escape route.

Have moved Granit after rat 1.

Undeterred by the flash from the grenade, Grant-9 runs after the little rascal, shouting "Stop Thief! You little rapscallion, you've stolen my friends present!!" The android runs after the mall rat, looking to see where the little creature will find an escape route. "Please somebody stop the little thief." As he goes, he pulls out a baton to apprehend the rascal.

I assume Granit-9 will catch up with the rat mall, this turn

Granit-9 smiles at Baxter and says, "Probably best you keep you hands free and your feet ready to protect Lycos of the Sanctum of the Ten Trees. I'll take a couple of bags to help out." he smiles as he is weighed under by the bags. Granit is encumbered.

Granit, oblivious continues to eat, before chiming in, "Whatever you use to flavour your food, makes it exceedingly good. I think we should leave a tip. Organics do sometimes have difficulty in their reactions, but it hasn't stopped the rest of us enjoying the food. That's over an 85% success rate for just our party, which should not be a disappointing result given the less than 60% success rate in more mundane restaurants."

Granit continues to eat the meal, wondering at the taste of this organic food, how it actually is something Granit finds appetizing. "This is good!" he says as a statement.

Exo-Guardians

Granit-9 ponders what his favourite fare might be and decides that letting someone read his i-node network pulses to determine a likely food, would indeed be fun. "Please, I am ready for your scan."

Whilst Zahvos gets busy with the lashunta, Granit-9 takes his datapad and using a secured wireless link to the infosphere, searches the facial recognition LinkinStation app for employees of the restaurant that would match the Lashunta and their job information, anything that might aid Zahvos in his ability to get a table.

Wandering in lost a white haired android pokes his head round the door, enters and asks "My datapad says this is where Chiskisk has been giving a briefing." His eyes blink lavender as his datapad blinks at him. "Something about an escort, though it seems a very strange thing to be doing." With a tatty rifle on his back and a bag full of tools, he looks at everyone as says, "I am nine, I will assimilate your call signs as we go, just open channels on your datapads to exchange familiarities. I am ready to activate whatever protocols are required."

As the group travel to the restaurant and conversation turns to getting a reservation, he quietly asks ZahVos. "If you fail to gain us entrance, I have some small skill that might allow us to alter their records and gain us access. I would just need some channel to the infospace or their network." The android looks at Zahvos blankly.
