Ugh, this is what I get when trying to get online and update finally after such network fun... I miss a couple posts about the fight being over... so no shoosting after-all... as for the "typical attack" yeah... that's part of the gunslinger's way that only applies to the first attack, and I don't normally miss posting. life just got crazy, and my home network ran into a multi-day fiber cut... much apologies.

(sorry for the out. internet troubles. First off, for the bott'ed roll. the acid damage should have had an additional +1 from being a gunslinger, as well as an additional 1d6 precision from being a sniper on first shot of the combat.)

assuming no crit, on first attack should have been total damage: 1d6 + 1 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 5 = 10 keeping that initial 5 rolled by the bot... Actually, I see persistent damage dealt, so that was crit, for double the result here.)

now this turn

Risky Reload to hit: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24 acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

◆ Reload

◆ Shoot again to hit, MAP: 1d20 + 12 - 5 ⇒ (9) + 12 - 5 = 16 acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

As someone who does not need sleep in the traditional sense, and only 4 hours of "relaxation" per day, Gorliche is quite fine with pressing on in general.

Gorliche will move to the front of the wagon, and then take a shot at the halfling in a yellow vest.

◆ Stride
◆ Shooting to hit vs cover: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16 acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Grunting at the poor shot, he pets his rifle to soothe its raging spirit, before rapidly loading and firing again.

Risky Reload Shooting to hit vs cover, MAP: 1d20 + 12 - 5 ⇒ (18) + 12 - 5 = 25 acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

Gorliche lifts their gun, leans out of the wagon cover, and takes a shot on red.

Ranged shot vs flat-footed from starting hidden, against cover: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18 acid damage and precision damage: 1d10 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + (5) + 1 = 9

◆ Followed by a risky reload and shooting at red again. Ranged shot with MAP against cover: 1d20 + 12 - 5 ⇒ (16) + 12 - 5 = 23 acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

◆ He then reloads and slips out of sight again using his Sniper's way. Stealth to Hide: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10 Well... They technically still have to spend an action to Search for me to attack me... even with that crap roll.

First time I have used the Spirit Object spell. I had assumed it would be sustainable, but it doesn't appear to be. The sapling reverts to being inanimate.

It's a fun spell. It's not sustainable, but IS a cantrip, so re-castable without resting. Also, single action version allows you to move an object a-la Mage hand, but of even higher weight. So it's, essentially, Mage Hand (Improved Edition), "Now with attack actions!"

Gorliche will calmly reload his gun, and keep a look-out for anything else of threat while those with more social skills do the talking/interrogating. Perception roll: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14

If a swarm remains standing:
Gorliche takes a shot at whatever remains standing. Starting with red swarm, then blue swarm, in order.
shooting to hit, no cover added, but vs flat-footed as hidden again: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22 acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

◆ Riskily reloads and fires again if a swarm is still standing, otherwise move to the "if only halfling left up" spoiler, the action is triggered it's a 'risky reload' action instead, in order to load and then fire as one action. to hit, MAP: 1d20 + 12 - 5 ⇒ (10) + 12 - 5 = 17 acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

◆ Reloads

If only Halfling is left up:

"I be suggestin' ya hol' still 'n answer ' questions. Yer only warnin'."
◆Ready action to fire should the Halfling attempt to flee or fight back further.

Firing upon the halfling if one of the above readied actions is triggered.:

He'll grunt softly, "So be it." Then fires.
To hit, no cover or MAP included.: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32 acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

Oh my... well, that's a crit unless this halfling is way out our level, for max damage, and 1d4+1 persistent damage. I did warn him.

Gorliche uses his Way to draw his gun and sticks the barrel out of the end of the wagon, then Shoots at Red.

Ranged shot vs flat-footed because am hidden: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16 acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10 once again assuming swarms is immune to precision damage, so not rolling.

◆Taking a Risk, he quickly reloads and fires again at Red as one action, Ranged shot, MAP: 1d20 + 12 - 5 ⇒ (15) + 12 - 5 = 22 acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

I'm watching how you play that gunslinger. I've no idea how do that one right.

As mentioned before, most gunslingers play with the Fatal guns so they go Crit-fishing, and many love the Kickback ones for the extra damage... I'm planning to, eventually, multi-class archetype Beastgunner though. So I went with access to a Drake gun via boons, and a relatively high charisma rather than strength, because of the coming spells

Gorliche, seeing no more enemies in easy view, will climb out on top of the wagon, before reloading and firing at Red osprey.

◆ Stride/climb up.
Risky reload to hit: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29 acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

if that's the crit I expect, 1d4+1 persistent damage too

He then sets about calmly reloading his gun, ignoring any potential threat the birds pose to him in such tight quarters.

◆ reload

Grunting in annoyance at the bird rushing its way, Gorliche will rapidly reload and shoot the bird.

Risky ReloadShoot to hit orange: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

I am assuming that hits. if it misses, ignore the rest as he spends rest of his turn clearing the jam and reloading.

He will then reload, and shoot again.

shoot to hit orange, map: 1d20 + 12 - 5 ⇒ (17) + 12 - 5 = 24acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Gorliche draws his drake rifle. He then leans out of the wagon to shoot at yellow with his drake rifle. While calling out. "'Dun think these birds like ' cargo much."

◇Gunslingers Way to draw rifle.
◆ To move/interact with the cargo flaps in order to get a clear enough view to shoot.
◆ To shoot at yellow. to-hit roll: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Hero Point that heroic to-hit roll: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
acid+precision damage from Sniper Way: 1d10 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (7) + (1) + 1 = 9
Much better. Assuming that's a crit, if the bird still there, 1d4+1 persistent acid damage on it.

If Yellow still alive:

Risky Reload to reload and fire in short succession. To hit, with MAP: 1d20 + 12 - 5 ⇒ (5) + 12 - 5 = 12acid damage, no precision: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

If yellow died:

Gorliche will forgo reloading his gun and shove the acidic corpse off the cart so it doesn't melt through the roof.

Uncertain how he wound up in the mud soo far from the wagon after having climbed into it earlier. Gorliche decides these must be magic frogs, and draws his Drake Rifle as a free action using his Gunslinger's Way. Then, not trusting magic frogs with a curse around. "I dun' seen swarms of bad turn ta worse... Not 'avin' it."

He aims on the swarm on the cart, and fires, shooting a bolt of acidic spittle into it. (As a swarm I assume it is immune to precision so won't worry about rolling that.)

Drake rifle, shot 1: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25acid damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4double and 1d4+1 persistent acid damage on a crit

Fortitude: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27

The rough seas don't seem to effect Gorliche Turnlocke in the slightest, as though this is no different than any other day.

He listens closely to the tale and then speaks up again from whatever shadowy corner he plopped himself into. "We took some time ta get 'here... Has th' weather been bad 'since ya 'rived?" Just trying to confirm the curse, instead of simple bad luck.

Gather Information: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Seems like people don't like talking to weird piles of clothing that refuse to look them eye-to-eye.

Gorliche will elect to climb into the cargo itself, and open a flap out the front of it for him to watch out of, while nice and hidden in the contents.

My Heritage means tight spaces for a small creature don't slow me unless I'd have to Squeeze to move... At which point I can Squeeze ten feet per action rather than five... Literally designed to fit in amongst cargo.

EDIT: For the scenario I will, generally, be taking the Avoid Notice exploration activity unless specified otherwise

@gm Question about the sea-sickness for my personal self...

spoilered question:
I know the DC's and rolls are pre-set by the module. I've run plenty myself. As such, I'm happy to roll, but since I am literally a skeleton... no stomach nor an inner ear to be effected... Do I add any bonus to the roll? If so, to make life easier, I get bonuses vs poison/disease, and can use that bonus for the roll to make things easy to figure out.

Edit: With that roll, my question doesn't matter in the slightest, ignore it

For everyone else's sake and explanation of my last in-game post. I got the Negative Healing trait... so Heal spells and healing potions hurt me. Harm spells and my Oils of Unlife heal me. A small figure remains hunched off to the side, decked in heavy clothing from head to toe, a cloth pulled over their face, leaving no inch of skin visible. They seem to be surveying everything they can, constantly as though always on edge, their gloved hands never straying far from the handle of a strange gun slung over their shoulder. The way the light wavers across the bright green scales of the weapon makes it seem almost alive.. The person's clothing and general size and shape appears to be that of a young male goblin.
