Godwin starts to turn his shield and sword towards the monster. Godwin looks at the monster, he tries to see what kind of monster is attacking him. perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12

If he can see the monster did he then learn anything about it in the militia? soldier: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Is the monster closer to me then the minimal distance to use charge?

Godwin his charge completely fails, his sword completely misses the skeleton and hits the ground on a clumsy way. He mumbles something to himself, you hear the part "like a rookie"

Godwin moves to the goblin statue, ready to strike.

"Chairs who fall from the ceiling, trick stairs and statues who could be alive, strange place this is indeed! Just a few days ago would I be milking Bella the cow right now."

He then looks to Olwyn "Wait until we are certain we are under attack. I wonder what would happen if you enlarged Bella the cow back at my farm, milk for the entire town?" He laughs.

"Damn splinters" Godwin removes some splinters from his skin, then he takes the stairs down.

"Yurian is our trap expert, he can best decide what to do next"

Godwin holds his shield above Yurian and his own head to protect them against whatever might come from the ceiling.

"Yurian i'm ready to go in that room"

Kolpo decides to follow Yurian with his shield ready afraid that someone or something would attack him.

"Do you know that some madman Dupree used this place to train his equally twisted armies? We could run into remains of those armies we have to be careful!"

"Thanks for your help" Godwin doesn't look very happy, he mutters something to himself.

Godwin enters the new room.

"I don't think I know anything about this place"

Godwin wonders if he ever heard anything about this place in the militia.

Godwin sheates his sword and temporary puts his shield on his backpack. He then tries to push the door with all his strenght.

"This door is very strong, can other people help me? Felicia you look like a strong warrior, can you maybe help me?" He smiles.

Godwin seems to be a little upset about having to ask a woman to help him. His smile seems to be a little bit artificial

"Very curious, some kind of claws and very tiny knives have killed these people. I also notice that in addition both fire and frost has damaged those people, a strange combination, it must have been magic"

Godwin thinks for a while.

"Multiply dangerous creatures must have killed those people, we have to be very careful. Monsters with claws, evil sorcerers and worse could be near!"

Godwin moves close to the door, he holds his shield in the direction of the door and his sword ready to strike anything that might come out of it.

Godwin Everlin walks carefully towards the door. He puts his ear to the door and tries to hear any sounds. Like the sounds made by creatures.

Godwin carefully approaches the entrance of the dungeon. He scans all directions to make sure this place is safe like he learned in the militia.

Godwin takes his inkpen and a sheet of paper and he draws a rough map of the environment.

Godwin also prepares his torch.

He now wields a bastard sword in his right hand, a torch in his left hand and a shield is attached to his left arm. He wear banded mail and leather shoes. He also wear a backpack.

Wearing:

I think I first misunderstood what kind of story I should write, This is my new story:

Bonk was born in Ardfell in a farm, when he was little slipped a rat in their house. Just before that rat would bit him took he a big stick and hit the rat on the head, making a "bonk" sound. Since then calls everyone in the village him Bonk.

Bonk loves to help his parents on the farm, because Bonk is strong
was he asked to help keep order in the village. Bonk works part time as town militia. But until recently was Bonk only called to drive a rat away or to help a kitten get out of the tree. But now seems everything to be changing.

Bonk constantly works, he hates having nothing to do. This makes him liked in the farm and the town militia but also causes Bonk to have no private life.

Bonk is a personal friend of the blacksmith, the blacksmith who made a weapon ideal for a person with Bonk his strenght, the bastard sword.

I also made an allias with a more detailed profile for this campaign.
