I've recently moved to Amelia just outside of Cincinnati and I am looking for a gaming group to either join or possibly start. I'm open to any tabletop games though all my experience is in Pathfinder, though I have both experience as a player and a GM. Distance really isn't much of an issue so long as you don't live clear on the other side of the city, and even then it might be able to work. Anyone who would have me or is interested in starting a group with me just leave a reply, and thanks in advanced.

I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean, like I said this is a home game so I rolled all my stats. I was just lucky and didn't really roll low.
Okay. I am going to bite the bullet and ask. Were you alone when you rolled those stats or with the group as a whole?

DM saw it. Whole group did. Believe me I'm not that kind of player, and compared to the centaur PC we have whose combined stats range in the triple digits he was rather understanding with my rolls, though I understand the suspicion.

Hexcrafter Magus would let you take the Healing Hex at 4th level.

Magus get Infernal Healing, though the cost may be somewhat steep in PFS.

You also get UMD, though the Cleric 1 Magus 4 would be able to use any wand of cleric spell, which might be a better option, to build off of channeling positive energy.

Halfelf might also work well, as you could take both classes as your favored.

I'll be sure to grab Infernal Healing in one or both it's forms considering how useful that could be in a fight.

Considering I'm taking Cleric levels anyways and that I may rack up a few more the Healing Hex may only be a minor improvement, and it doesn't seem worth taking an entire archetype for the sake of one Hex, though I'll mull the other ones over and consider if there's anything other Hexes I might want my character to take.

Alright, so I'm making my character for my first home game after a long while of playing PFS and I've wanted to make a Magus for a while now, unfortunately the other players are not interested in playing a healer, so I decided it might be interesting to multiclass as a Magus/Cleric with Magus as my preferred class, and I was hoping for opinions on whether a build like this is even really viable.

Considering the Magus itself is already a dual natured class would adding healing to his repertoire just make him too ineffectual at anything to be worth playing? I was considering making him a Mystic Theurge at later levels so that his spell progression wouldn't suffer necessarily in either classes case, but I worry that this could make him so ineffectual in melee combat that it wouldn't even be worth making him a Magus in the first place.

The way he's built so far is as an Elf starting at level five, with one level in Cleric and four levels in Magus with the following ability scores:

Str - 14
Dex - 16
Con - 12
Int - 20
Wis - 18
Cha - 16

I think the character has some potential if built properly, but since I'm inexperienced compared to most when it comes to builds I figured it best to see if I could get some second opinions.

Any input is appreciated.

Myself and a friend of mine are looking for a weekly group to play Pathfinder with in the Las Vegas area. We are currently attending the Vegas Game Day meet ups once a month, but we're hoping to find something that meets more frequently. We both live near Jones and Charelston, but would be willing to travel quite a way within reason to meet up. We would prefer to have someone else DM if at all possible, because of my lack of experience and his want to actually play a character after having DMed for so long for a past group.
