I believe Origins attendees were going to get a chance to try out Mummy's Mask this weekend. I'd love to hear any thoughts on it: the selling mechanic, new characters, anything else new and noteworthy.

I was hoping for a Calistrian Inquisitor, but Salim is cool too!

Actually, I think the PFS pawn set is great, and I'll be getting it. But I'm way too anal retentive to play with pawns mixed in with the iconic miniatures. Radillo, Ranzak and Melindra were great surprises, and I've picked up Reta, Chuffy, Poog, Mogmurch and Arushaele on the secondary market. I've even got an Ostog from the Reaper metals line. But what about the rest? Behold!

Darago
Qualzar
Bekah
Zarlova
Gronk
Valendron
Rooboo
Raz
Ramexes
Olenjack

Last, but certainly not least...

Tup the Terrible

I'm especially proud of Olenjack. I just happened to find a decent human mini, and modded it six ways from Sunday: removed a sword, added a pipe, re-positioned the sword arm, added the skull belt buckle, added gold piping, shortened the legs, rebased it on a Litko laser cut base to match the black bases of the iconic mini sets. I'm looking forward to playing more OP games just so I can bust out the minis at the table!

I've got Vika and Wu Shen on the painting table right now, and miniatures on the way for Arabundi, Grazzle, Wrathack, Amaryllis, Tarlin, Koren, Athnul and Tontelizi. I'm about halfway there... until the next class deck comes out!

I've got an investigator who's slowly morphing into Batman, and was wondering if there was some sort of non-Rod of Ropes way to emulate his many rope tricks. There's the autograpnel from the Technology Guide, and if money is no object, I guess I could do a repeating hand crossbow loaded with grapple bolts, held in a Glove of Storing. What other ways can one swing through the air? Maybe Ultimate Intrigue, with the Vigilante class, will have some equipment would-be vigilantes might use...

Now that Mavaro is an iconic, I may have to enter the costume contest at gencon. It'll be much less cooler than that Amari, but I don't have the body type for Alain or Valeros.

Great list, though the blog title should have been "You Play A Good Roleplaying Game, Boy..."

Dark Archive

Ushered into the office of Zarta Dralneen, the head of the Dark archive faction, Aldur bows gracefully. "My lady, Aldur Sanvell, at your service." The half-elf is relatively new to the Pathfinder Society, but his masked figure moving among the shelves of the Archive have been a common sight as of late, as he has thrown himself whole-heartedly into both his positions as librarian and Pathfinder.

Zarta waves a hand casually. "Yes, yes, of course you are. I'm very busy, so spit it out.

Aldur produces a folded slip of paper from a pocket. "I have just returned from an expedition to the Precipice Quarter, in the company of Junia Dacilane. We retrieved an item which may be of use. Much of it will become common knowledge to the Society as a whole, but I was able to prevent my companions from seeing this page. It refers to Lady Miranda Dacilane, of Cheliax, and her... indiscretions of youth."

"If anyone can put knowledge such as this to good use, it is you. I would simply ask you to consider the ramifications to her daughter. Junia, or J., as she prefers to be called, has been admitted to the Society, and I believe her talents could be of great use to the Dark Archive. Alienating J. may prove harmful to the Society, the Archive and yourself in the long run. As always, of course, the choice is yours."

Hi all! I'm creating a new character, and in my background, I have a relationship with a demon. Not one I've ever met, but one I'd like to one day meet (and kill, incidentally, but who knows?). Can someone give me the name of a demon who shows up in a PFS scenario or module? Just the name of the demon, not the name of the adventure. If it's one who shows up multiple times, even better!

When the Pathfinder Society receives an invitation to a dinner party at the Thuvian Embassy, hosted by the guardian of this year's six doses of the infamous sun orchid elixir, the Decemvirate sends a team of Pathfinders to represent them and uncover the nature of the event. Can the PCs navigate the complex social landscape of Absalom's elite and gain access to the mysterious vault known as the Conundrum, or will they face public ridicule or worse in the face of the steepest competition in the Inner Sea?

Please note, this is a VERY role-play heavy scenario. That is not to say all characters must be loaded with face skills; indeed, players may have a lot of fun as the fish-out-of-water character. But either way, there will be a lot of in-character interaction; players in search of a dungeon crawl will be disappointed. If you sign up here, know what you're getting in for: one hell of a dinner party!

Please post here with the following information if interested.

I got to play Raz at GenCon, and it was the most fun I've had playing the ACG. When she acquired a Monkey's Paw, she just flipped up the middle figure and used it to beat down every henchman she encountered.

I placed this order last night for the PACG Class Deck Subscription. Received an email confirmation, but it's not showing up in my order history when I log onto the site, or as one of my subscriptions. I just want to make sure it's processed correctly. Thanks!

So, I have on occasion tended towards completism and anal retentiveness. When the Iconic Heroes sets came out, I was very happy, and I enjoy using the miniatures as tokens. However, I do like using class deck characters, and I dislike using a single token card along with three miniatures. Thankfully, because of the long-term nature of the game, I don’t feel bad about creating a miniature for class deck characters I’m using at the start of the campaign.

I’ve used Reaper minis for several class deck characters, usually with some modifications. Reaper’s Cassie is the basis for my Melindra, Malek for my Darago, Nehanda as Bekka, and Arthrand Nightblade as Valendron. I put them on Litko rpg bases, and they look great.

Does anyone else use custom minis for their tokens? I’d love to see what anyone else has!

This is fantastic! Spreading gaming goodness around the world. It's like Mormon missionaries, but with gaming.
