It's time to get the Pathfinder/Starfinder schedule together for Con on the Cob 2018. I've got two survey links below. The first is soliciting interest in the three (or four) systems we'll be running at Cob this year. This survey is for any potential PLAYERS to fill out. Please pass this link along to anyone who might be playing this year. Player Survey The second link is to sign-up as a GM for PFS/SFS at Con on the Cob 2018. If you're interested in GMing, please fill out this survey. GM Sign-up If you're planning to play and GM, please fill-out both surveys. They should only take a minute or two each. I'll be using the player survey (and the GM availability) to build a schedule of games and getting it out to GMs and players alike ASAP. Please complete these surveys within the next week. I'll be collating results and building schedules next weekend. Please, FORWARD THIS ANNOUNCEMENT TO ANY INTERESTED PARTIES. Thank you,
When looking for users to add as reporters to Event #293212, I used the little search pop-up. Didn't see the user I was looking for, but I couldn't leave the pop-up without adding someone. Ended up adding two random users that have similar names to the one I'm looking for. Now, I can't remove anyone from the Reporters list. I click Remove. Sometimes they disappear. Click Remove again, the next one disappears and the first re-appears. No matter what I do, when I exit the event and re-enter, all reporters are still there.
While creating the event for an upcoming local con, I noticed two things that didn't seem to be working right. 1: There is a field for # of sessions, it doesn't seem to be saved and only shows up on the edit screen anyway. 2: When entering additional reporters, there doesn't seem to be any feedback about unknown email addresses. When entering twelve GMs for the con, I nearly missed that one of them wasn't being accepted. Thanks.
I'm imagining any thread that hasn't been responded to in 6? months gets auto-locked. And yes, the recent, heart-stopping thread-necro about BobJ inspires this request. But it would eliminate a lot of noise when people google and don't pay attention. Then we get 20 posts pointing out that the "correction" of the old thread is pointless because it's so old. Actually, a large, bold notice on the page for these old threads would be helpful to warn readers that google led them to a probably-out-of-date discussion.

The Weapon and Armor enhancements do not contain any of the quoted text. Nor do they contain text similar to the Vibrant Purple Prism Ioun stone which says "as a ring of spell storing". By pure RAW (and I primarily play PFS), the enhancements follow the general rules for magic items: Magic Item Descriptions wrote:
As has been asked within the past few months, grudgekeyper wrote: By the way anyone else think that spell storing is ridiculously cheap given that it allows a 5th level wizard to store a CL12 3rd level spell?
While replying to a message I realized how often I search the PRD for text to copy-n-paste to a conversation (I do tend to prowl Rules more than anything). An extension to the markup language to allow simplified embedding of PRD content would be really nice. I'm envisioning something where you specify an XPath/JPath-like address to a section and the body is automatically embedded in the post. Adding reasonable formatting and a link to the actual PRD page would be included. A nice to have would be an automatic notation added to any embedded PRD content that has changes since the original embedding. This would help with thread-necros being very confused.
I've got a PC I'm thinking about retraining into an OA class. This isn't a play-test character. This is a simple, legal PFS PC that would be more interesting as an OA class then what I've got now. *If* the class combination I'm looking at has retraining synergy, I've got the prestige. If not, well, 7/level is pretty hard to do.
First: A setting to get email when I get a new Private Message would be great. Second: A way to tag threads when one of the "official" people posts in the thread. I'm picturing something at the top of the page that automatically provides links to any replies by Mike Brock*, John Compton,... in that thread. Finding the official response in a thread when you know there is one is hard enough. When you're not even sure if there is one, it's a nightmare. *well, whoever becomes the new PFS GM
In various conversations, this question has come up. In a recent one, I posted the below information. There is a debate going in that thread about whether we can infer other details about Animal Companions based on this line of reasoning. Please click that FAQ button up there. GinoA wrote:
I could have sworn I'd seen something saying they were legal and detailing the price, but now I can't find it. So, are magical tattoo versions of Wondrous Items legal in PFS? If so, what do they cost? Lastly, if legal for PCs, are they legal for Animal Companions? I'm assuming they'd be limited to the slots the animal has (probably barding and neck), but being able to tattoo something like a Dire Collar in addition to the Amulet of Mighty Fists would be darn nice. Thoughts? Comments? Links? Claims I'm a min/maxing dog for asking?
I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I can't find anywhere that seems more appropriate. I'm a longtime RPGer who is new to both Pathfinder and online campaigns. I've been looking through the posts in this section and many of them don't seem to identify the media that the campaign will be using. Should I assume some default? Is play-by-post or virtual-tabletop the default? Or is there some other venue I'm missing? Thanks,
