I have a question about ship boarding.

The ships are grappled. The captain of my ship decides to board the other one first.

Now, the battle between the "primaries" starts as a normal combat.
Is my character forced to start the combat on the enemy deck? Can't he choose to stay on its own ship's deck and use ranged attack instead?

I was looking at the example for the new rules for bargaining in Ultimate Campaign. It says:

"The merchant attempts a Bluff check opposed by Orshok's Sense Motive check and succeeds by 4, which makes her Undercut Percentage 6% (base 2% plus 4% for exceeding the check by 4). The merchant's Initial Offer is 12% less than Orshok's price (1,936 gp), and her Final Offer is 6% less than Orshok's price (2,068 gp)."

But in the section:

"Unfair(Sense Motive): If the result of the buyer's Appraise check leads her to believe the seller's Asking Price is too high, subtract 2 x the Undercut Percentage from the seller's Asking Price to get the Final Offer, and subtract 4 x the Undercut Percentage to get the Initial Offer."

Firts, it should be Sense Motive instead of Apprise. But, most important, it says that in the particular case the Initial Offer should be 4xUndercut Percentage (6%)= 24% instead that only 12%.

Which is the right rule?

In the APG new rage powers, I found this one:

Ferocious Trample, Greater (Ex): A barbarian’s mount can affect creatures up to its own size with its ferocious trample. In addition, it can make an overrun combat maneuver check as a free action against a creature that fails its Reflex save (or chooses not to save in order to take an attack of opportunity) against its trample. A barbarian must have the ferocious trample rage power to select this rage power. A barbarian must be at least 12th level to select this rage power.

If trample is an attack that does not require a check, why the mount get an overrun combat maneuver? Does it not overrun the trampled target automatically?
