I'm running a higher level campaign and want to use the Insanity rules. After about level 11, it seems that insanity and most conditions are pretty easy to overcome.

Anyone have any advice on how to make Insanity a little more difficult to side step at higher levels? I don't want to make it impossible, but at least a little more challenging than just casting Heal.

I'm moving to Vero this month and looking for fellow rpg players in the area. I'm interested in getting into the new D&D edition and trying out the new material. I wouldn't be against other rulesets, as well. I'm just looking to touch base with other players.

Please respond or send me a PM if you have room at your table or are interested in getting a group together for regular play.

I've had a few players drop out, so I need some last minute seats filled. This is a new player friendly game. We will be playing in the Level 1-2 tier.

Scenario: Mists of Mwangi

Time: 6:30-10:30pm (EST/-5 GMT)

VTT: Roll20/Mumble

Post here if you would like to play and I'll send you a PM for confirmation.

Please cancel my Adventure Path subscription. Thank you.

Dear Paizo,

I know we've had our differences this last year and haven't always seen eye to eye, but I want to say Thank You.

Thank you for the holiday card you sent me.

It really wasn't necessary. I would have been happy with an email :).

So to Lisa and James to the warehouse crew (and that's no slight; I've left my share of sweat, blood and tears on the floor) and everyone working at Paizo...I sincerely hope you have a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a great New Years!

#06 - Black Waters

When : Thursday, September 5th, 2013, 6:30PM EST (-4 GMT)

Where : Roll20/G+ Hangout

Who : This is going to be geared for the lower tier, level 1-2 players. New players welcome!

What : The Pathfinder Society seeks the ancient ruby ring of the salamander and it falls to a team of Pathfinders to find it. Last seen in the Tri-Towers Yard, a once elite academy for the youth of Absalom, the ruby ring is now lost in the Drownyard, all that remains of Tri-Towers after it was destroyed a decade ago in the great quake. The Pathfinders must risk the strange black ichors and salty brine to find their prize—will they risk their very souls as well?

Hello!

I've decided to take the leap and start GM-ing, but I have some questions.

1) If I start a PbP game, would it be legal to run the same scenario at a tabletop game while the PbP is still playing? I understand I wouldn't be able to get creditx2, but is it going to screw anything up for my players?

2) I would like to work up to running APs. I see some APs are sanctioned. Does anyone know what the chances of Wrath of the Righteous getting the go for PFS chronicles, like the other 3-4 APs? And if it is going to get sanctioned, how long does Paizo usually wait to make the change once the AP is released?

Thanks for the help!

I’ve started a gnome inquisitor (lvl 1, Domain: Law, SubD: Inevitable) in a third-party/homebrew campaign. As I close in on my next level, I am playing around with the idea of dipping into Cavalier to help out with the painfully low land speed and give a little bit of front line versatility.

I was thinking of going Inquisitor 17/Emissary Cavalier 3 (Order of the Seal) with a Bodyguard wolf mount. This will give me the following:

- Challenge: Unless I am reading this wrong, it's basically another Judgment at lvl 2.
- Mount: The mount comes with a lot in the beginning:
- Shared Vigilance: Bonus to Perception and Sense motive
- Tenacious Guardian: Could be pretty handy to get out of tight spots.
- Mounted Combat: Roll again to get hit every round doesn't seem that bad.
-Order (of the Seal): I will take a little interpretation of the rule as to mean “where ever I deem the location to protect” (i.e. “I will protect this room of all things evil!”); this will give another bonus at lvl 2 (or lvl 4, if I alternate lvls).

This would obviously slow down my progress in Inquisitor a little bit and I would lose:
- A teamwork feat
- One Judgement/day
- True Judgement
- A handful of upper lvl spellslots

I know most feel that dipping isn’t worth it in the long haul. But, this set up seems fairly strong in lower/mid lvls. This is also a homebrew with no guarantee that we will ever see higher levels.

So the question is to experienced players, would I really be hurting myself in long run, if I went this way?

Hello! I am a new Pathfinder player and having trouble registering a character. My first character registered correctly, but my second character (the one that is actively in an adventure) will not register as a Society character.

Is there a solution to this? I wen't through the society register page, but it says the name has been taken. If there isn't a way to fix this, do I need to have this character registered to get credit?

Thanks for the assistance!
