Sorry to say, 9th level spellcasting isn't gained until around 17th level, at the earliest, Kibeth. We at most could get 8th, so no reality-changing yet. I might addend my background a hair tonight if you have no problems with that. I was not entirely sure of how 'free' I was to make and shape your world - I don't assume such things, normally. Beyond that, I hope to get in, as my final word before the results.
And, fully completed. Equipment, spells, background, all are go! Time to relax, and await the results!
Slick rename. I'd tease you further, but it's hard to convey emotion through text. On another note, I'll go ahead and start buying equipment tonight to give a fully fleshed-out character. I think you'll like the results.

So I figured out! (I also looked at your profile.) The basics of his statline are up - I still need to do spells/equipment/background, but it's all good so far. I'm going to take a look at what you have, Tik-Tik, and see if I can't get us integrated! Mwahahah! EDIT: Expect many revisions - the final character sheet's statline will be done by 1600 EST. I'm still calculating all the little numbers from my racials...
Posting my interest again, and my concept. I can get a background up by the end of the day - I'll be using this name to make the character and etc. So! I submit my concept! Pseudodragon Sorceror, to supply arcane power to our ranks. The only issue, is I can't find the racial modifiers for it. I have a few ideas down on paper for a background, but nothing finalized yet. It'll take me a little bit of time.
With all said and done, at 15th level... I might consider a fighter-type character. So, either a fighter or a monk. And, don't even get me started on the things I can think of with either... As for twin bombing runs, Dragonborn, I now picture two pseudodragon alchemists. That just seems wrong in all ways.
Consider myself intrigued as well - I even have a concept prepped up and ready to go! Maybe I'll get to work alongside Dragonborn again too! :P
Here's my take - hope I get to play this really cool concept. Name: Franz Kreiter
Background: Born to a pure-blooded Chelish family and a silver spoon in mouth, Franz had a life of envy. With all of his birthright, he held great pride for the glory of his empire, his city, and his family, and while this is surely common in most Chelish towns, he upheld it firmly. Through his youth, he showed much interest in the military of the great city, and sought out what he could to impress his father - who had been a Hellknight at the prime of his life. Through what he could garner, in order to truly be a better than his father, he searched with fervor a way to join that prestigious order - when he came along something different. He joined the Order of the Sword in his mid-teens, and trained long and hard for his position. Still yet a squire, he obeyed the laws of 'chivalry' and so forth, but only when it best seemed to suit him. This garnered much distance from his peers, but when it came down to it, they could not refuse what he brought. However, he recieved a message from his family, and returned with most haste - finding that the city of Korvosa he had known, had drastically changed. (Just a start - can fix and tidy up later.)

This led him to knighthood - something he believed was a stepping stone along the path. He undertook much training, and much frowning with the talk of 'chivalry', though he listened very, very closely. When his initiation was all said and done,he could only wear a wicked grin - he would surely uphold chivalry, with a taste of malice deep within. For Hymenopterix: Show: I realized afterwards you were a fellow player in nightflier's PBP of Korvosa I dropped from. Since then, I had time to reorganize everything, and I'm on a far better path. I also have more time than I expected once it had all been figured out - I'm hopin' we can start fresh again.
Okay, update on the Summoner/Eidolon pic: It's been done for a while, I just haven't been able to upload it to DA yet. Apologies! Hey, that's fine with me, - I haven't been able to find your DA page, though, to browse or find it, though. Will search the thread, though.

Well, if both of you can handle about 1000 a piece, we can definitely buy a nicely sized keelboat! The statistics based on it are more than enough to house the party, and the rest of the crewmen. Think of it as a mobile home and base of operations (until we seize a larger ship!) I'll ensure in my background that my 'nautical ingenuity' is persuading enough... EDIT: I apologize, I just looked at the actual write-up. Looks like we need something more sea-worthy. Like a Pinnace (4500), since the keelboat is a 'river boat' more than anything. Maybe we can get one on the cheap side, since we're evacuating and stuff...
Yeah, I quickly re-read and editted my post in hopes nobody would catch my fluke. I'll see what I can dig up from my fellow players. Here's to hopes for a keelboat!
Well, mighty DM, I'm for either way - one large group or two seperate. There's more to a crew than a few faces, after all - at least, that's what I'm hoping for. I've decided on a half-aquatic elf swashbuckler, one who's embraced his elven heritage. It'll be very interesting to see him and his small vessel sail into that place! Another thing I'd like to ask, is it possible to have 'stolen' a larger vessel prior to entry? I'd be more than willing to push much of my starting money, probably half, into the efforts. Ideally I'd like to get a keelboat, but it's a bit over my funding (at 3000), so that it's at least sea-worthy. I think Divine mentioned something about putting some funding forth, and we could start as 'partners' on the same ship! And, I'd like to extend that offer out as well to any who wish to be aboard the fine vessel!

That's why we take their ships and make it ours "we have set us up the bomb all your fleet are belong to us" Yes, yes indeed... but I will still compare the two and see which vision I want more - or better yet, go for both! As for 'acquiring' a vessel, I'm sure we can arrange something...
I'm definitely down for some high-seas action - I, like another player who's already responded, have wanted to make a swashbucklin' pillager of sorts. I'm definitely looking towards getting Dread Pirate, but that does involve a substantial cost of a vessel - so it seems 'Legendary Captain' might be in order! if you'll have me, that is...
The usual stuff, hair color, eye color(though honestly it's hard to see unless it's a bright/light color), skin color/tone, dress or pants, weapons, insignias(Summoner got one of the forehead, but I'll put it in a corner so it can be bigger). Simple or fancy. Bright or dark colors. How human do you want the Eidolon to look? Finally got time and around to doing this. I'll stat it out simply so to keep it simple. Thanks again, Dragonborn3. Eidolon Valeria: I would like her to be very human, almost frighteningly so. It's a manifestation of his lover, so it obviously isn't perfect. Hair: Long and black, natural flows.
So, I have a question about this. It does say cumulative, so if I have, say, 3 attacks, is it at -2/-4/-6?

Hi - new poster and would love to get a sketch done for my new PbP character done. Ezekiel Tauranor, a summoner, and his lover/eidolon, Valeria (There's a story to this, and I thought it was neat). Request(s)!:
Ezekiel is a young man in his early twenties, standing at a stature of 5'9 and about 172 pounds. He's average-built, but he's been known for his charming looks. With short black hair, the citizen of Cheliax also has eyes that show a deep compassion for his work. He typically is dressed in a long red coat with black shoulder-guards, and a loose-fitting outfit of reds and blacks underneath (for shading and so forth). Valeria in life was a soldier, serving within the Korvosan Guard for her career. She wore light armor in her work, and generally wore her helm only when needed. The coloration is of course, similar, due to the Chelaxian influence - black armor with red detail. However, in their meetings, she wore dresses like most women. She was about 5'7 and I'm not good with guessing a woman's weight, so average - she was similarly attractive, nothing beyond the normal. Either outfit would be appropriate, seeing as we're only just starting.
I understand it's technically 'two characters' I'm asking for, but I would love a pose of the two to show a pairing whilst being ... intimidating? If anything, Zeke's very compassionate, willing to go to most lengths for his goal. :) Thank you for any consideration!

I'm relatively new to PbP, but not to roleplaying in any sort - I would love to join with my concept of a summoner/eidolon pairing is two lovers, though one has passed on. Hope to get in! :) |
