Gavan smirks at the caster, then moves into the guardroom to attack once more.

Gavan moves forward and attempts to attack the remaining Aspis agent in the guardroom.

Gavan, seeing the others handling the situation, remains silent and waits to see the response.

Gavan moves away from the door, hoping to avoid the guards altogether.

Stealth (ACP): 1d20 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 - 1 = 4 (though not really hiding, just moving out of sight)

"It seems unlikely that Aspis agents would announce themselves so...it appears, therefore, that these are with the Kortos Consortium."

Gavan will take some time and grease the mechanism to lower the platform, then will lend his strength to moving boxes.

Gavan distributes the flasks of alchemist's fire to the pathfinders, then assists with moving the boxes.

While plans are being made, Gavan looks around the warehouse as well.

Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

Gavan looks around as well. "Let us expect that the Kortos Consortium will likely announce themselves as such. If we are able to bribe them, or perhaps convince them that we are Aspis guards and attack them - not lethally, of course - perhaps we can do more to damage that relationship."

Before resting overnight, Gavan takes a moment to heal his own wounds.

Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 (that, plus the overnight rest, should be enough to heal him to full)

Gavan shrugs, his stony shoulders making a grating sound as he does so. "We won't learn any more standing around here. Let's go meet our contact, and quickly; we can't let this operation continue."

Gavan, hearing Kitt's request, intones "Shizuru will welcome us all, eventually." Then, he smiles and says, "Of course, there is no need to hasten the journey." The oread steps forward and lays his hands on Kitt's...pet, then bows his head and intones a brief prayer. When his hands finally lift, the eidolon's wounds are closed.

Cure Light Wounds (Spontaneous Casting, dropping death watch): 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Reflex Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Gavan, like Haldoc, sees no way to engage with the alchemist. He waits for an opportunity.

Gavan makes his way next to the statue and swings his katana at the alchemist!

Gavan, not having expected to have to flee, follows Haldoc with...somewhat questionable results.

Swim: 1d20 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 - 1 = 10

Gavan looks to Hikari. "I do not know whether the authorities would raid the tavern based on only our word. However, if we speak with the proprietor and make it known that we know, and suggest that he close up shop for an hour or two..."

As much as I'm interested in seeing what the boat has in store, I think the party is geared more towards disrupting the meeting.

Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Gavan, too, nods in agreement.

Gaven takes a moment to check the addicts' status, as well.

Heal: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

That done, he moves to the rest of the chamber, looking around the lab workbench.

Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Gavan shakes his head at the response. "The best we can do for these people is to deal with the alchemist." He juts his chin at the bug, saying, "It seems to me that we'll have to deal with that thing as well. We are alerted to its presence, however, so that should be easier than it might have otherwise been."

Gavan attempts to discern anything useful from the gloom surrounding the party.

Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

Gavan nods to Hakari. "I agree that we must do what we can to keep these drugs out of circulation, and protecting the identity of our informant so that she may continue her works. To that end, I believe our best courses of action to be disrupting the meeting and stopping it at its source. The first and third tasks, then, though I don't know what help I might be for the first."

Gavan nods in understanding, "There is nothing to forgive; it was a surprise to my family as much as to anyone else. As to your question..." He ponders for a moment. "I have been in these lands - in exile, as you call it - for the past 71 years. Of course, the same blood that gives me this," he says, waving his hand at the granite-like composition of his body, "also grants me a certain longevity."

Obviously unaccustomed to speaking much, Gavan nods and replies, "I was, indeed, born in Tian Xia. However, my family could not come to terms with my...heritage. They sent me away rather than accept me as their own, and I ended up in this land, with this name. I still keep the faith of my ancestors, however, martial as my expression of it might be."

The half elf is followed closely by a fairly...solid-looking oread. He wears studded leather armor, and a katana is strapped to his back. While physically intimidating, however, his wise garnet eyes hold a measure of peace held by few.

Despite that peace, however, the oread shifts uncomfortably as he introduces himself with a low, gravelly voice. "Greetings. My name is Gavan, crusader of Shizuru."

Hello, all - not sure if I'll be able to live up to Lithrac's introduction, but I'll certainly try; I couldn't possibly turn down another opportunity to be one of his victimsplayers. :-)
