Hello! I would love to join the game, but looks the signup sheet is already filled.
I'll post here just in case a slot opens up :D

Scenario spoiler:
In encounter A5, for scaling in tier 1-2 it says to add one or two hidden pit in a corner of the room.

Hidden pits are 10 feet x 10 feet, right? So 2x2 squares on the map.
And I assume you can't put an hidden pit halfway under a color bowl, right? Wouldn't make much sense.

That means you can only put the two pits in the rightmost corners. But isn't that where the monster come from (it says "the piles of rubble on the eastern edge of the room..."). So that means the monster falls directly into the pit? Or since it can climb it walks on the walls?

Sorry for the very specific question about a minor detail, but I am just trying to see if I am missing something here.

It's up the thread a bit.

Thank you. Sorry I had missed it.

I bought it so for anyone interested, it uses the Ancient Dungeon flip-mat.

Does this quest use any flip-mat?

Hello!

I live in Europe and I am interested in subscribing to a few Pathfinder products.
I assume there are other European players here so I am asking for their advice.

Paizo store's prices are pretty good, and with enough subscriptions you can get that 15% discount and the PDF version as a bonus. Shipping price, however, seems to be quite high (depending on the order it might even be as much as the product price).
Also, I assume you have to pay customs when the stuff arrives, right (I live in France, if that matters) ?

So I am wondering if the subscription from overseas are really the best way to get the books.

So, in other words: European players.. where do you get your Pathfinder fix?
Thanks!

I think I know the answer, but I am asking just in case I am missing some resource somewhere.

Is there a list of starting decks for Class Deck Heroes (like the lists you find in the rule-books for the set Heroes) or do I just build a deck using any Basic Card I want (and respecting the card allowances of course)?

I am pretty sure it's the latter but, just in case, I thought it was better to ask.

Thanks!

Thank you that was my guess as well.

In the meantime I checked the rulebook and it says:

If a power says it may be used when something happens, you may use it every time that happens. Otherwise, a specific card’s power may only be used once per check or step.

Which corroborates what you said.

Thanks again.

RotR's Lem has a power that says 'once per check you may recharge a card ...'

Bard Class Deck's Lem has a very similar power but it that doesn't have the 'once per check' part.

Does it mean Class Deck Lem can recharge multiple cards to add multiple bonus die?

Thanks.

Does it include the "Land of the Blind" scenario?

Is this a typo?

Isn't The Half-Dead City Adventure Deck included in the base set?

Don't forget to recharge your spells before and recharge and shuffle after you reset your hand!

You can recharge your spells when you reset your hands? Thought you could only recharge them when you played them.

Shuffle after you reset your hand? Why?

We've clarified this in the Mummy's Mask rulebook:

Mummy's Mask Rulebook wrote:

Resetting Your Hand

Do the following whenever you are instructed to reset your hand. First, apply any effects that happen when you reset your hand. You may also play cards or use powers that say they may be used when you reset your hand. Next, you may discard any number of cards. Then, if you have more cards in your hand than your hand size specifies, you must discard until the number of cards in your hand matches your hand size. Finally, if you have fewer cards than your hand size, you must draw cards until the number of cards in your hand matches your hand size.
(Mechanically speaking, it doesn't really matter whether you recharge them before or after you discard, but it does matter that you do it before you draw.)

Thank you. The rewrite now makes it very clear.

Hello all!

I am still learning the game and I have some doubts on when you can play some spells.

I know you can only play them when they are "relevant" but that's a bit vague, isn't it?

Can I play spells like Speed during a check? Can I play it during a check that doesn't involve dexterity? While not useful for the check itself it will stay for the rest of the turn so maybe..

Can I play Cure during a check (mostly to use blessing of pharasma or to avoid losing it to combat damage)?

I am inclined to believe the answer is no to both questions, but I guess it's better to ask experts.

Thanks in advance!

Hum.. to me it looks like this just says what types of power you can use, not when.

When it starts the sequence (first..., then..., finally...) it doesn't say in which part of the sequence you can play those powers.

Am I wrong?

So most (all?) magic armors allow you to recharge them when you reset your hand at the end of the turn.

But, exactly, when can you do it?

Can you do it before drawing up to your hand size?
Can you do it after drawing (meaning you draw it and immediately recharge it)?

Thanks.
