Gamze's cheeks redden to a deeper color than her skin. She was embarassing herself. This should be no harder than skewering a sewer rat, and yet she couldn't hit a single goblin! She knew she had to hit this time. She just had to, as the tiefling pulls another arrow out and takes aim... Shortbow Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Gamze draws her bow as the rest of her allies rush into combat. "A bit wild, but I suppose a rock through a window is still effective..." She draws back an arrow and fires it into the melee that has formed around Idrix, aiming for green flesh. Shortbow Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Gamze furrows her brow. "Goblins, huh? I guess at least the job won't boring..." She rests her hand leisurely on her sheathed shortsword, nodding. "I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to skewer some greenies... especially if they've snatched our employers." She pokes herself in the chest with her thumb. "I might know a thing or two about traps. Stick with me and I'll do what I can to keep anything from surprising you."
Gamze jumps slightly at Idrix's boisterous voice, but gently nods and does a shallow bow, sweeping her dark cloak as she does so. "Ah, hullo, well met, a pleasure." The tiefling's maroon skin practically glows in the bright morning light streaming through the trees, and it is simple to see that she is armed and armored, albeit lightly, wearing leathers and a shortsword at her hip and a shortbow, unstrung, over her back. "This is Gundren Rockseeker's party, yes? I had accepted a job to assist in escorting provisions for him, but became..." she pauses, searching for the appropriate term, "Sidetracked, in Neverwinter, and was not able to leave with the cart. I am, however, committed to my role as a guard and have ventured out in order to catch up to you! I hope this is the wagon that was referenced?" She grins toothily, hands clutched together, hopeful.
All right, I think Gamze is fully built, here. Her profile crashed on me while I was writing up the background so the new one is just her bullet points for now - I can expand on it a bit later. Let me know if I should make any changes or if I missed anything. I ended up swapping Wisdom and Dex because I feel like the group could use a bit of a rogueish character, thus betraying my "roll in order" idea. (Spoiler- I intend to go into Great Old One Warlock for a few levels before continuing in rogue.)
This is Florence, my white necromancer concept! She has her backstory in her profile but her crunch is variable, so here is her level 2 self (I used 3 traits and a drawback, didn't see that addressed in the character creation rules). I also have a cavalier I might post with later on. I don't have much experience with play-by-post stuff, but it seems fun and I have played a lot of pathfinder regularly, as well as some rule-less Pbp back in the day. Crunch:

Backstory: Florence, as a young Chelaxian girl, learned about justice from her father - a Hellknight of the order of the Pyre, he was devout in hunting down those who would abuse mystical powers for their own gain and the harm of others. Her mother was a minor noble, and came of similar stock to her father, leaning against the corruption that came from the ranks of the houses above them, arguing in courts against their corruption and helping those that would be sacrificed to the law for greater power.
Not being the strong sort, Florence sought to follow a path similar to her mother’s studying for months on end towards becoming a lawyer, a court enforcer, someone who could fight without strength. It wasn’t long before the siren’s call of wizardry attracted her to its power and strength for those without it. She was immediately fascinated by necromancy, a way to keep her alive and in pursuit of removing the corruption in the world - to see the change that she had wrought. However, she had seen those who might bring back the dead as monsters, the consequences of their actions at the blade of her father’s axe - so she studied in secret, attempting to find a way to straddle the line between the evil of undeath and the powers over life and death that could be used for a greater purpose. Of course, with dissent comes consequence, and it wasn’t long before her family was targeted by greater houses for removal - and soon, the men came for them. Bandits, rogues in the night came to slaughter the three of them in their sleep. Unfortunately for them, her father was still awake, and defended Florence and her mother to his last breath, while Florence’s mother forced her through the window out into the streets, to run away, leaving her the sole survivor of the family. Absconding from Cheliax, Florence intensified her study of necromancy and the dark arts, hoping to create good change in the world through methods that others might shy away from.
