I Looked but didn't see this, apologies if I missed it.

Looking for clarification when Treat Deadly Wounds as a Medic archetype. Specifically the bonus at higher DCs.

When taking the Medic archetype:
You become an expert in Medicine. When you succeed with Battle Medicine or Treat Wounds, the target regains 5 additional HP at DC 20, 10 HP at DC 30, or 15 HP at DC 40.

As an Expert in the Medicine Skill:
If you’re an expert in Medicine, you can instead attempt a DC 20 check to increase the Hit Points regained by 10; ...

Does this mean that when attempting TDW at DC15 and roll is >19 that the patient receives 2d8+5, but if attempting a DC20 and roll is succesful, the patient would receive 2d8+15?

The Uplifted bear has Natural Weapons that function like the Vesk. OK. But does it do the same damage? The bear's are Large. The CR4 example in AA2 does d6 base damage. I haven't seen anything that states damage die increment per size category as it does in PF or D&D. But I would expect it should.

I don't see this questions anywhere else so... Looking for clarification on Integrated weapons in Armor slots.

Per the Integrated description... (p. 29)

An android or any other creature
with the upgrade slot racial ability cannot
combine its racial upgrade slot with armor
upgrade slots to install an integrated weapon.

And per the Shoulder Launcher Description... (p.41)

Many shoulder laser users are androids who integrate them into
their bodies as emergency weapons.

It seems to imply that Shoulder Launchers can be integrated into Android upgrade slots?

Thanks everyone

So, PC with both STILL and SILENT meta magic feats casts such a spell that does not have Material Components - or also has the Eschew Materials Feat.

Would this provoke an AOO?
If the spell had no visual effect, would anyone even know a spell had been cast? IF the spell was a Charm or Suggestion and the target failed their Save, would any observer know?

I made sure to continually use terms such as "disappeared " into the legal system instead of arrested. It reinforced the idea that getting arrested was not a good idea. Especially after the group did get arrested in part 1.

Running this soon and have a question that might be more of a general rules question, but sine it's in this event here goes:
Is Death Knell considered a death attack per the core rules? A character may have enough PP for a Raise Dead, but I doubt anyone at this level has the PP or the gold for a resurrect. One reason I dislike seeing it it and CdG written into tactics.

Unless you have certain feats, you cannot take a 5' step in difficult terrain. Any movement is considered a move action. So, does the move action in question provoke?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

My ranger with Fey favored enemy has an earthbreaker ( cold iron) named Fey Swatter. I couldn't resist. But it's the only named weapon among my characters.

I am currently playing a switch hitting ranger and I'm pretty effective as far as the group is concerned. At 6th level I use a composite longbow (+2) at +7/+7/+2 for d8+6 or my +1 earth breaker at +7/+2 for 2d6 +10 using power attack. My feat choices were Rapid Shot and Manyshot as ranger selections and Power Attack, Deadly Aim and Combat Reflexes through normal progression. My favorite spell, Leaded Blades, which ups my melee to 3d6+10. This build works and as advertised, stays fairly well matched with either melee or archer builds. Deadly Aim is the only real archer feat to take with this build from your normal progression. I haven't regretted not taking QuickDraw yet over Combat Reflex. Especially as my next feat will probably be Stepup.
