After finishing Vorka you search the room. You get a large quantity of loot and gold. Lots of magic items and potions etc.

You find poor Scribbleface (or what is left of him) in the bloody bag next to the cauldron.

Coming home you are hailed as heroes and one of you brave souls gets to marry Cheif Gutwads daughter.

Thanks for playing guys! I had a great time and I hope you did as well!

Goblins can be neutral :)

Vorka takes a blast of Alchemist fire to the face and falls from the ceiling to the ground burning. The great cannibal terror Vorka is no more!

Round 9:
Zoog 24 | condition:none | rposition: 30 ft from vorka but on floor
Mog 24 | condition: reduce person, dying | rposition: 30 ft from Vorka
Reta 19 | condition: spider climb | rposition: 15 ft from vorka
Kalam 17 | condition: none | rposition: outside, 5 ft from Vorka
Vorka HP-27 (produce flame) on ceiling near door with spider climb, slowed by tanglefoot

Reta's fiery breath launches at Vorka.
Vorka Reflex save: 1d20 + 5 - 10 ⇒ (8) + 5 - 10 = 3Failed! -10 because of hindered movement

Vorka -10 hp

Kalam takes careful aim and let's lose a bolt from his crossbow which finds its way into Vorkas chest.
Vorka -8 hp

Vorka's eyes start widening in fear and sudden realization that she is not a safe as she thinks. She makes a movement (at half speed) and gets to the door of the room. She turns and points at Reta launching a flaming blast.
Vorka Flame ranged touch atk: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 Miss!
The flame wizzes by Reta's head but misses.

GM standing in for Kalam
Kalam loads his crossbow from his hiding place.
Kalam Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33
Vorka perception: 1d20 + 2 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 10 = 16
Vorka thinks Kalam ran away..

Kalam take your best shot, good luck

Completing round 7 after discussing with Kalam.
Zoog and Mog's actions will actually happen in round 8

Kalam runs outside stealthily sheathing his dogslicer and holding his xbow.

Vorka attempts to slap Reta with her flaming hand.
Vorka touch attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
flame damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Reta burns in firey slappiness.

Round 8:
*I will allows Zoog to go before mog since initiatives match*
Zoog 24 | condition:none | rposition: 15 ft from vorka but on floor
Mog 24 | condition: reduce person, dying | rposition: 15 ft from Vorka, 25 ft from Zoog
Reta 19 | condition: spider climb | rposition: melee Vorka
Kalam 17 | condition: stealth | rposition: outside, 30 ft from vorka
Vorka HP-9 (produce flame) on ceiling with spider climb

Zoog runs over and heals Mog

Mog stands up and throws a tanglefoot bag at Vorka with amazing accuracy. I used your move action to stand up thinking it an oversight
Vorka Reflex save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Vorka was able to dodge the main blast of tar and goo but it looks like movement on the ceiling will be challenging.

Reta then Kalam are up

@Zoog no attack of opporunity, Reta killed Lord Longtongue

Round 7:
Mog lays on the floor bleeding out HP -3

Zoog attempts to hack into Lord Longtongue again but his natural armor of blubbery flesh deflects the blade.

Reta launches another firey breath blast at Lord Longtongue.
LLT reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 Saves!
Lord Longtongue -7hp (save 1/2 dmg + 50% weakness
Lord Longtongue expertly jumps over the blast but the heat is too much for him and his eyes boil out. He stops moving with a final long croak of pain.. or was it relief?

Kalam's action didnt take place since Lord Longtongue died, Kalam is up

GM labeled round wrong, Sorry! this is round 7, not 6

The spider swarm dissipates

Round 6:
Mog 24 | condition: reduce person, dying | rposition: 30 ft from lord longtongue, 15 ft from Vorka
Zoog 24 | condition:none | rposition: melee Lord Longtongue

Vorka HP-9 (produce flame)

Zoog suddenly back and alert takes a swing at Lord Longtongue but cant seem to land another damaging blow.

Mog launches a beautiful firebomb spiral that explodes on Vorka's head burning her for massive damage
Vorka hp -9
The falling fire from the bomb landed down and around Reta but she pulled a quick roll out of it taking no damage.

Reta turned and breath weapon blasted poor Lord Longtongue with an explosive breath.
Lord Longtongue reflex save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Lord Longtongue successfully jumps over most the blast but is still singed quite badly which hurt extra as his wet amphibian skin is weak to fire.
Lord Longtongue hp -12 hp (17 / 2 = 8 for reflx, +50% dmg for weakness)

Kalam makes another attack but cannot find a non naturally armored place to do damage.

Lord Longtongue attempts to take a bite out of Zoog
LLT attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 Miss

Spider Swarm continues to attack Kalam
spidwer swarm dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Kalam roll another DC: 11 fortitude save

Vorka points her firey hand at Mogmurch. A firey orb shoots forth at him.
Vorka Produce Flame, rng touch atk: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 Hit
Vorka flame damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Reta attack of opportunity

GM standing in for Zoog:
Zoog takes another hack with his Gorge of Gluttons at Lord Longtongue
Zoog atk: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 2 = 10 Miss

welcome back Zoog! your wand of healing has a touch range (i think) and you are on flanking sides of Lord Longtongue so i dont think you can get to him from there, correct me if i am wrong

Round 6:
Mog 24 | condition: reduce person | rposition: 30 ft from lord longtongue, 15 ft from Vorka
Reta 19 | condition: spider climb | rposition: 15 ft from Lord Longtongue, directly below Vorka
Kalam 17 | condition: spider swarm | rposition: melee Lord Longtongue (behind), 20 ft from Vorka, in spider swarm
Zoog -- | condition:none | rposition: melee Lord Longtongue
Lord Longtonue
Spider Swarm
Vorka

Mog was able to get up and move back dodging Lord Longtongue's attack.
Reta drinks a red flask.
Kalam is having trouble figuring out which end of his dogslicer to hold.
Zoog pulls out his Gorge of gluttons and hacks some flesh off Lord Longtongue.

Lord Longtongue -3 hp

Lord Longtongue spins on Zoog in fury and bites at him
LLT attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 Miss

The swarm of spiders continues to bite Kalam
Spider swarm: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Kalam make another Fort. save

Vorka chants a spell and glowing balls of flame appear in her hands, she moves further into the room to stand above Reta.

Round 5, GM standing in for Zoog

Zoog draws his Gorge of Gluttons (+1 horsebane dogslicer) and takes a swing at Lord Longtongue.

Zoog attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 Hit
Zoog damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Reta draws her bow and fires into the melee (at -4 to attack) and manages a masterful hit.
Lord Longtongue -2 hp

Kalam takes another back attack at Lord Longue tongue but his thick skin turns the blade.

Zoog revives Mog with a large heal from his happy rod :p

Lord Longtongue spins and attempts to bite Kalam
Lord Longtongue attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 Miss

Abruptly the chanting from above stops and a swarm of spiders appear out of thin air 10 ft behind Kalam. They rush forward and attack Kalam.
Spider Swarm: swarm: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Kalam -2 hp, make a fortitude save DC:11 1d2 str dmg

You hear, "Looks like dinner delivered itself!!!" as you see the evil cannibal Vorka walk along the ceiling (spider climb) into the room above Kalam.

Round 5:
Mog 24 | condition: reduce person | rposition: melee lord longtongue
Reta 19 | condition: spider climb | rposition: 15 ft from Lord Longtongue
Kalam 17 | condition: spider swarm | rposition: melee Lord Longtongue (behind), below Vorka, in spider swarm
Zoog -- | condition:none | rposition: melee Lord Longtongue
Lord Longtonue
Spider Swarm
Vorka

Mog Round 5
Mog stands up next to Lord Longtongue Attack of opportunity
Lord Longtongue attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 Miss
Mog runs back 30 ft away.

ominous roll: 1d20 ⇒ 18

Round 4:
Mog 24 | condition: reduce person, dying | rposition: 5ft in room
Reta 19 | condition: spider climb | rposition: 15 ft from Lord Longtongue
Kalam 17 | condition: none | rposition: melee Lord Longtongue
Zoog -- | condition:none | rposition: 10 ft from Lord Longtongue
Lord Longtonue
Unknown Caster

Kalam you used 1 move action to pick up the bow, 1 standard action to load it, only a 5 ft step is possible. Stealth is also part of a movement action so you would need to move to do that

A giant frog jumps down in front of the open door.

Reta attack of Opportunity

And rushes in to bite the nearest opponent, tiny goblin Mog.

Lord Longtongue attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 threaten to crit
Lord Longtongue attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 confirmed crit
Lord Longtongue bite: 2d6 + 8 ⇒ (5, 4) + 8 = 17 crit damage
oh s$&*, uhhh I cant fudge these rolls... sorry. Feel free to play Zoog in players absence

The toad savagely bites a tiny little Mog rendering him incapacitated and looking nearly dead.

Kalam, Reta and Zoog also here chanting coming from outside.

Kalam: picking up an item is a move action, also loading your crossbow is another move action (you can use a standard action), are you moving outside? reta is staying inside

You're still in combat from the things that were attacking Zoog. Are you sure you want to spend round 3 collecting your weapons and searching?
Reta and Kalam still have a round 3 action unless they want to do as previously stated

Zoog comes inside and casts cure light wounds on Reta.

cure light wounds heal: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Mog, or a tiny little version of him, launches an alchemist fire at Cuddles. Hopefully his friends like fire a lot because they are burnt too from the splash damage.

Cuddles -6
Kalam -4
Reta -4

Reta drops her bow (which also bounces off poor Kalams head harmlessly) and drawing her slicer she jumps down from the ceiling brandishing her weapon and cutting a nice swathe into Cuddles flank as she ends up behind him with a dexterous landing.

Cuddles -5

Kalam beautifully dodges an attack from Cuddles while rolling to his feet however he ruins his graceful form with an off balance attack and nearly ends up falling over.

Cuddles turns and attacks Reta
Cuddles attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Cuddles bite damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Cuddles trip: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Sorry for rolling so well..

Cuddles spins and takes a savage bite out of Reta then slams her to the floor.

ominous roll 1: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
ominous roll 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

Outside heard a yelp from Zoog as a firey projectile blasts the deck beside him and a big slimy tongue harmlessly smacks him from above.

Zoog is standing just outside the room Cuddles, Mog, Kalam, and Reta are inside, 10ft away from Kalam

Round 3:
Cuddles only has 1 hp so alchemist fire finishes him.
Mog 24 | condition: reduce person | rposition: inside room 15 ft from zoog
Reta 19 | condition: spider climb, prone | rposition: 20 ft from zoog
Kalam 17 | condition: none | rposition: 10 ft from zoog
Zoog -- | condition:none | rposition: 15 feet away from attackers on upper deck

Mog suddenly becomes very tiny hilarious idea

Reta from her vantage point on the ceiling fumbles her arrow and drops it down harmlessly on Kalams head. Upside down seems challenging!

Kalam pokes out of the shadows and launches a bolt at Cuddles landing square in cuddles breast with precision.

Cuddles -3 hp

Cuddles does not seem to fear the tiny goblin and is confused by the one on the ceiling so he charges the goblin who shot him with the crossbow.

Cuddles charge attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 Hit
Cuddle bite damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Cuddles trip Kalam: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 Kalam is tripped

Cuddles sinks his large canine teeth into Kalams leg lifting him up and slamming him down on the ground prone.

Round 2: start
Mog 24 | condition: reduce person | rposition: melee cuddles
Reta 19 | condition: spider climb | rposition: 10 ft above cuddles
Kalam 17 | condition: prone | rposition: prone melee cuddles
cuddles 8

Reta, Kalam and Mog step inside the galley and their eyes adjust, they see:

This room is a blood-splattered chamber of horror. dead rodents, snakes, and birds have been variously nailed, tied, and hung around the walls. At the far end of the room, a large cauldron bubbles over with what seems to be goblin like arms and appendages sticking out. Next to the cauldron is a bloody burlap sack, full of something/someone.

You also see a very large, well fed angry looking dog barking at you 20 ft away.

cuddles initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
ominous roll: 1d100 ⇒ 12

Round 1: Start
Mog 24
Reta 19
Kalam 17 condition: stealth
cuddles 8

i am guessing zoog meant the main deck, i am undoing the rolls move to the upper deck with him and will say he is part of the party

Zoog and his death wish climb up the ladder to the upper deck, he is immediately spotted by the two feral dogs who rush to attack him.

feral dog initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

Positioning:
Zoog at top of ladder on upper deck.
Feral dogs next to main mast 20 ft away.

ominous roll: 1d100 ⇒ 85

Fire bombs do more fire damage than blast damage, but in this case the door was very old, wet and rotted so the impact damage of the blast was enough to cave it in.

As the fire bomb explodes on the door you see the rotted, termite eaten wood cave inwards and the door crack in half slowly falling in on itself.

Inside the room it is dark but you are immediately assailed by stenches that make you want to vomit.
In the far side of the room, 30 ft away you see a small fire burning underneath something large and hear boiling sounds.

you have dark vision but you need to step inside the room in order for your eyes to adjust.
Room is 15 ft wide, 30 ft long.
What do you do?

Reta climbs up a ladder on the side of the galley to peer up on the main deck.
She see's the main mast 15 ft away and next to it are 2 very feral, hungry looking dogs barking!
Beyond them she see's a cabin perched at the far end (bow) of the upper deck.

ominous roll : 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

Mog, you can say everyone moved and blow in the door if you like

The group stands around the slightly rusty hinged door with old wood that leads into the galley at the stern of the ships main deck.

Kalam attempts to open the door and stumbles tripping into the door. It doesnt seem to budge.

GM describing boat:
Image posted in hangouts
you are on the maindeck aft about to go into room 6, you assume to be the galley

if you want to remain stealthy you generally have to roll stealth on every action.

As Kalam opens the door to the galley you notice that the hinges are extremely rusty and the wood is very creaky.

it might be a good idea to get someone who is not attempting to sneak to open it

ominous roll 1: 1d100 ⇒ 80
ominous roll 2: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22

Vorka does not appear.

Currently only Kalam and Reta are on the boat.
Would Zoog and Mog like to join them?

Kalam sneaks all the way around the side of the galley. All the windows are covered in moss or grit from both sides so you cannot see in.

When Kalam gets to the aft of the galley you see a 5ft. single door into the galley and it looks like dried blood is stained beneath it. There is a horribly putrid stench coming out of the galley that is very clear when you get near the door.

The dogs on the upper decks are still barking.. you worry that could be some sort of alarm mechanism.

Retcon
As Stomp turns away from Reta to rush at Mog the fire chucker Reta slices open his abdomen and his guts spill out and splatter to the ground. Stomp falls down and Stops moving quickly.

Mog's face was pure elation expecting Stomp to come and then get a facefull of acid but he had to hold off. (or did he?)

Zoog: As the Venomous wasps disperse a small share of them perish to Zoog's firebolt blasting through their swarm.

Kalam braves the stinging looking no worse or pustular than he already does, which is pretty awful.

Reta however continues to swell and suffer.
Reta you possibly need to make 2 more fortitude saves, unless you save and you dont need any more. You lose 1 dex for every failure.
If Reta cannot get Zoog's attention for healing remember you have useful potions etc.

Kalam barely makes a successful climb check over the side of the ship.
Once he is up on the main deck he sees from the fore deck:

The main deck of the ship is cluttered with objects both natural and artificial and all covered in swathes of leafy vines.

The ship is 70 ft long and you are at the main fore deck.

Options:
1. A stairway just a few feet ahead leading to the upper deck, main mast, rigging and a high cabbin. (you hear barking from this direction)
2. There is a canopied walkway along the ship side that lead around the Galley and to the aft mast. (the galley entrance is probably in the aft)

Climbing the gangplank requires a dc:10 climb check

In order to get sneak attack you need to: "The rogue's attack deals extra damage anytime her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC, or when the rogue flanks her target."

Since stomp is aware of you dont get sneak attack, your best option for sneak attack damage is to get flanking at this point.

Round 2!
Reta 13 miss hp -7 (dex -1)
Horse 13 miss miss hp -11
Mogmurch 7
Kalam 6 hp -2

Stomp looks furiously at the flame chucker (Mog) and moves to him, 25 ft and attacks!
ie. the ground is muddy, difficult terrain, one cannot charge and movement costs x2

Reta take an attack of opportunity

Hoof 1 @ Mog: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (4) - 2 = 2 Miss
Hoof 1 @ Mog: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (1) - 2 = -1 Miss freakin' horribly

Positioning:
Mogmurch melee,
Reta, 20 ft.
Kalam 30 ft.
Reta and Kalam will take 2 actions to get to Stomp due to difficult terrain.
.
Also you have to keep saving against poison every turn until you beat Fort DC: 13

Edit: corrected Stomps hp -2 more points for stings, thanks kalam

Round 1!
Reta 13
Horse 13
Mogmurch 7
Kalam 6
Zoog, out stokin' fires

As the mud ball bounces down the gangplank Kalam deftly scoops it up and pulls it back behind him ready to launch.

Reta immediately turns into the horses charge taking a hoof across her head but drawing her blade and slashing Stomp (horse's name) across his breast.

Stomp -2 hp

Stomp gives a fearsome foamy whine and dances up again on his hind legs and throwing two hooves at Reta's head.

Stomp Hoof 1: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (4) - 2 = 2 Miss
Stomp Hoof 2: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (11) - 2 = 9 Miss

Reta deftly dodges one and the other glances of Reta's big, thick skull doing no damage.

Mog pops his head inside the gate and decides it would be great to add a firebomb to the mix. He pops a catalyst into one of his prepared concoctions and launches a perfect shot right into Stomps hind quarters. Reta caught some flames from the blast that singed some hair but is unharmed.

Stomp -7 hp

Kalam in his limited goblin capacity decides to throw the "ball of mud" at this newly appearing foe but slips on some moss as he throws it and it ends up at the bottom of the gangplank 10 ft away from him.. and right next to Reta and Stomp..
Unfortunately as it is traveling through the air Reta identifies it as a wasp nest but is unable to move out of the way.
The wasp next explodes and an angry swarm of wasps fly out stinging Reta, Kalam and Stomp.

wasp sting damage: 1d3 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

The poison from the wasps is coursing through your veins!
Kalam and Reta, make a fortitude save DC:13. Failed save is 1 point of dexterity damage

Stomp fortitude save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 Saves! cured.

The wasps sting then quickly disperse.

I thought rogues had an ability to sense traps without calling it out but they dont, trap finding helps you find them only when searching for them...

Kalam and Reta stealthily cross the muddy ground from gate to gangplank . Kalam starts ascending the gangplank and successfully goes half way up (7.5 ft) when he notices a vine snaps as he steps on it and other vines up the gangplank loosen their hold on the mud ball at the top.
The mud ball drops off and starts bouncing down the gangplank.

Kalam, what do you do? catch it? reflex save, identify it? Knowledge nature.

After the vine snaps under Kalam's foot a bell rings on the ship. The bell startles Kalam and Reta who find themselves without concealment (stealth) as a Horse comes full speed running around the side of the ship charging right into Reta.

Surprise round, Stomp!
Hoof 1 @ Reta: 1d20 ⇒ 11 Miss
Hoof 2 @ Reta: 1d20 ⇒ 16 Hit
Hoof 2 damage @ Reta: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Horse Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13

Roll initiative
Horse 13 -0 hp
Reeta -5 hp

okay, What is the rest of the party going to be doing?
Also, Kalam give me a perception roll (ominous)

The dog sounds slightly distant like it is barking from somewhere on or in the boat.

GM nudge to keep game moving.. who is going to enter the fence to the muddy courtyard and climb the gang plank? Are you going as a group? Remember you can use our hangouts thread to discuss with the group

You remember that this place is host to an evil dog loving cannibal named Vorka!! Chief commanded all goblins to kill the traitor Vorka on sight or die trying.

Inside the gate you see deep thick mud and then 20 ft in is a gangplank onto the ship. The gangplank is very steep and slippery looking. One handrail is even in cased in a muddy ball.

GM fast forward!

After searching the lair you get back to your quest of finding scribbleface and claiming his head and fireworks.

After a very geographically loopy travel through the swampland's you arrive at the point on the map.

You find an old shipwreak in the swamp that is close enough to the coast to hear the faint susurrus of waves crashing on an unseen swampy shoreline but not close enough to see it.

The ship is large and wrecked, lodged in a pool of swamp water. It is a 2 masted Chelish sailing vessel and looks a few decades old. It is completely sodden and water logged.

The ship is surrounded by a hastily erected wall that is decorated with hanging moss, goblin skulls and bits of bone.

As you approach you see a gate in the wall and hear the barking of your hated enemy, dogs!

You think you may have heard of this place... Knowledge local DC: 20

You searched thoroughly, there is no more loot to be found.

Kalam finds:
24 GP
Small masterwork light crossbow with 11 bolts
a single pearl worth 100 gp
2 potions of cure moderate wounds
a potion of bull's strength
a potion of bear's endurance
a wax-paper-sealed package containing 6 pieces of licorice-flavored taffy (strong enough to remove alcohol sickness)

Reta shoots again and while closer this time to where she was aiming it was far off the mark. After her arrow lands there is an intense scurrying across the tree top cover. You now are guessing the movement and scurrying was likely rats or some other vermin.

and lol we spent almost 2 IRL days in fear of rats

Roll a perception loot to find out :) Be warned though, if you attempt to perceive loot that means you are searching the lair

Reta spots movement out of the corner of her eye and looses an arrow at it, unfortunately the shot is very poor and it gets tangled in some moss a few feet away from her.

Please tell me what you're trying to perceive, hostility, loot, a specific item.
I am going to advise you to not linger around the lair too long

There is movement above Mog but he is unable to identify it as friend or foe, despite your bursting into the lair nothing happens..

Wow mutagen is pretty amazing

Mogmurch steps into the lair and ... nothing happens. The sound from his voice is absorbed quickly by all the soft foliage and dampeners.

It takes a while but Reta and Mog are able to make a lit torch. Waving it around the entrance does show some gleam from some gold and other metals inside but nothing else stands out
