The wind gusts on your face as you are headed toward the town hall.

You know the town hall. You’ve seen it a thousand times. Every weekend there is some kind of a celebration being held here. Be it one of Haskors – the local smiths – daughters getting married, a community feast, midsummer festival, first harvest festival, last harvest festival you could go on. But today is a workday and you expect the building to looks different. The big wooden doors should closed and there will be no ornaments on the wooden walls that would get you in the spirit of celebration. No drunk bards attempting to sing, no barmaids running around with mugs full of beverage.

You can already make out the town hall and it truly does look plain. But you didn’t come here to admire its plainness. You’ve received word from the mayor that you should meet him today in the town halls dining room. You can suspect that it has something to do with the ever inevitable test of maturity that you will have to partake in sooner or later. It would also be a good guess that you weren’t the only one who would end up being called here.

Ah, the guess was correct - as you are approaching the entrance your eyes catch sight of an 3 other younglings coming toward the hall it would be quite possible that they are here to meet the mayor – just as yourself.

Greetings! The following section will be dedicated to two things:
1.) First of all you shall create you characters by rolling dice here and provide bit of background on them.
2.) Afterwards this part can be used to discussed for OOC matters say someone is going on a week long vacation, just post here to notify us it will not be a problem ^-^

Character creation:

First let's tackle the metagame part. Your character should be made solely from material provided in the core rulebook. Meaning the viable races are: Human, Half-Orc, Half-Elf, Halfling, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome. As for the classes there are: Bard, Barbarian, Ranger, Paladin, Fighter, Wizard, Sorcerer, Cleric, Rogue, Monk and Druid.
I think that randomness adds excitement to the character creation so we are going to use roll 4d6 drop the lowest to assign ability scores and then roll for the starting wealth (if you can explain in your background as to why your character should be richer then we may rearrange the starting wealth for you).
Remember guys this means vanilla so no traits ^^

Now let's tackle the background. The adventure begins in Kessan as small town in the Nirmathas region. The characters should be young and hail from the city as they are about to undertake a test of maturity. The town itself is a rather small with a close knit community that is lead by the mayor Uptal. Most of the people are woodcutters (they even boast a guildhall within the town) but there are also some that make use of the Tourondel River that flows trough the northern part of the city by catching fish.
The local is called "Seven Silvers" that is ran by a kind innkepper Trelvar Silver. A temple dedicated to Erastil is located in the town square but accepts anyone who wishes to pay his respect to the local or to another deity.
Once a year after the harvest ends a ceremony happens where the towns youth has to re-enact the heroic acts of Kessan - founder of the town - by entering his tomb to retrieve a piece of the everflame that keeps his resting place warm.
This is the map of your home town. If you want information on any of the buildings or anything else about the town please do say so.

Hello there PbP forum!

I was wondering if you people would be interested in participating in one of the classic pathfinder modules, Crypt of the Everflame.

I would be hosting it for 3-4 players and the preferred post ratio would be 1/day as this is also the one that I can keep up with.

The plot should stay as it is meaning that PCs are from Kassen and I would like to focus primarily on the Core rules as I am not really a veteran in the pathfinder world and do not have much experience with other books.
