I have a level 3 barbarian who would love to come along. Count me in.

Male

Thanks for playing everyone. You were awesome. Mega-I sent out an email to get my reporting fixed. When it gets fixed and reported I will make this campaign inactive.

Male

Roddy it should be fine if you want to buy it.

Mega, chronicle sheet is below. Make sure it's correct, especially the character #. Link

If it looks good, let me know so I can get my reporting fixed.

Male

I somehow left you out while reporting the game too. I’ll send out an email to get it fixed.

Male

Mega I don’t know how I forgot you. I’ll get your sheet up later.

Male

Ok had my VTT game fall through. Roddy I am going to post what I have from the Core Rulebook.

Rather than meticulously track every arms dealer, contact,
guild, and license a character has access to, the game assumes
that in typical settlements you can find and purchase anything
with an item level no greater than your character level + 1, and at
major settlements items up to your character level + 2. The GM
can restrict access to some items (even those of an appropriate
level) or make items of a higher level available for purchase
(possibly at a greatly increased price or in return for a favor done
for the seller).

Since you are level 1 and the item is level 5, I would say it would be very difficult or impossible for you to find that item to buy. I would obviously not increase the price or anything like that. If you really want to go that route, I can check with a few other GMs and see what they think. Let me know.

Male

Chronicle sheets are here

Roddy, I have a live game here in a few minutes. I'll be able to check into that tomorrow. I'll try and check tonight, but no promises.

Male

You guys were awesome. I hope to see you all at my future tables. I will have chronicle sheets up tomorrow.

My favorite part about playing and GMing is seeing what players bring to their characters. I sincerely enjoyed each and every one of your characters. I am currently switching to running my games on Discord. I am going to start prepping to run SFS 1-02 Fugitive on the Red Planet. I won't be starting for a few weeks, but if any of you want a spot I will gladly give you first dibs.

Male

The Society intelligence summons you back to the Lorespire Complex. The intelligence once again presents itself in a holographic form—this
time taking on the appearance of a wizened male korasha lashunta—
to congratulate you on your successful missions. It goes on to
state that in the aftermath of the Scoured Stars incident, the Society
needs skilled agents more than ever, and that it sees potential in you as you start your new careers as Starfinder field agents.

I thank you for playing. I sincerely thank you for the patience. I will have the final chronicle sheets up Wednesday.

Male

OMID and Rizzit yours have been fixed. Not uploaded yet.

Does everyone remember if they got the implant or not? and if you bought the music album? If not I can look back, its no big deal.

Male

Chronicle Sheets

The sheets are above. These are not the final versions. Just make sure what I have on there is correct before I hand out the final ones.

Male

Before leaving Kieu Kein rewards you with a mk 1 ring of resistance.

”With the alien gone, engineers can move back into E-Deck and fix the damage done. I will turn the alien over to an assembled team of experts in hopes of learning more of the alien’s language and culture. Job well done.”the ratfolk is satisfied and pats all of you on the back for a job well done.

Male

We are at the end here. After a debrief and a quick roundup we will be finished.

Make sure everyone rolls your dayjob check. I have started working on the chronicle sheets. Should have them done this weekend if not today.

I will post the link when they are done.

Male

Nalo and Mincey are finally able to get a hold of the alien creature. Constantly shifting from trash can to the crate, the creature is clearly still slightly scared, but still subdued enough to carry with you.

”Travel to the bridge of the Master of Stars for a formal debrief.” Fitch says over the intercome.

Male

As the Starfinders close in on the alien they try to stay upright in the cold atmosphere.

Nalo:

You notice the garbage can immediately appear to shift into a small brown crate on the desk. Then it immediately shifts back into a garbage can, but in a different location on the desk.

One more check and the alien should be comfortable with you.

Male

That is two good checks to find the creature so your survival check takes care of the two. Now two more checks to try and get the alien off the ship(your handle animal is the first success.)

You could outright kill the creature, but the point is to try and find a peaceful resolution.

Male

The Starfinders go to look for the creature. Not knowing what they will find, they proceed cautiously.

DC18 Survival:

You attempt to track the creature.

Upon entering the area you notice the environment is extremely cold. Ice has begun to form along the floorsDC12 acrobatics check to move more then 10 feet or you fall prone

Nalo:

Looking around the room you see an oddly placed trash can on the desk. Looking closer at it you sense it is very out of place.

DC16 culture, or perception check, DC18 survival check. You need 2 successful checks to find the creature. Nalo has one already has one good perception check.

The alien is cautious and wary of you. You can attempt a DC 16 Diplomacy or Sense Motive check, or use the handle animal task of the Survival skill to convey good intentions These can be used to have the alien follow you off the ship. Three of these to succeed.

Male

A GM has been located to finish out your game. They should be in contact soon to get you rolling again.

Male

You secure the children and go to find their pet alien.

This area consists of two adjoining chambers. Four large containment capsules fill the fore room, three of which hold stasis-locked objects, including a tablet, a strange curved sword, and an odd spiral of bioluminescent coral. A crack leaks fluid from the fourth capsule, which displays a foot-wide breach near the bottom. The aft room contains several desks, each hosting a deactivated computer terminal

GM Rolls:

Random: 3d4 ⇒ (4, 2, 2) = 8

Let me know how you proceed.

Male

Sorry everyone. Everything had finally died down some so I’ll be able to get an update up today. Should have no more problems after this. We are at the end so we can finish
here soon. Thanks for your patience.

Male

The children slowly begin to come out of hiding.

”We are Kieu Lan and Kieu Si, the daughter and son of one of the ship engineers, Kieu Kein. Our mom went missing in the Scoured Stars incident, our dad brings us onto the ship during work hours and leaves us in a specially designated children’s area.”The boy says with a scared voice.

”Don’t tell them about.” the girl is cut off.

”We stumbled upon an alien. I think it escaped from one of the storage chambers.”

”It was small and non-humanoid, but it would not respond when we talked to it. We didn’t know if it was going to hurt us. “the boy says uneasily.

”We decided to keep the alien as a pet and hid it in the adjacent room. Then the power went out. We were trapped. We couldn’t get the doors open and we got stuck here. We could not talk to anyone since we removed our communicators before sneaking in here to get the alien some food.” the boy says hysterically.

”We don’t want to get in trouble.” the girl adds in.

Hearing the communication from OMIID, Fitch adds in.
”I need you to make contact with the alien before the situation gets worse.”

Male

Sorry everyone. Wife is having back problems yet again. I’ll have an update up later.

Male

As you get the power back on most of the starship’s cameras remain off, but you can see them to reveal that there are two human children hiding in an empty storage room.

Map is updated. I’m guessing you want to go to the children, but I’d rather have you tell me or RP it out. It’s the top right room on slide 1. Go ahead and drop your tokens there and we can continue. Sorry for the delay. My wife got me a gym membership for my birthday and my kids want to swim for 2-3 hours every night. Makes for a long day.

Male

Zurnzal explains, “My employer has been watching recent events in Merab with keen interest. The doru attacks seemed to draw the eyes of Amenopheus’ agents, and Grandmaster Torch shares mutual concerns with the Sapphire Sage; both of them think there is more to the sage jewels than anyone dares to believe. I am here to offer information to aid in your search for the Dungeons of the Ever-Dying”—the half-orc smiles knowingly—“if you give the Society’s guarantee that when it comes time to act on the threat to the Jeweled Sages— whatever it may be—Torch will be welcome to stand alongside his, ah, colleagues, in the Society.”

Male

The Master of Stars is the largest starship in the Society’s arsenal. Even before the events of the Scoured Stars, it was the pride of the fleet. Years of neglect required an extensive retrofit during the events of the Scoured Stars incident, inadvertently saving
the flagship. The repairs are still ongoing, hampered by the lack of any senior Starfinders familiar with the ship’s myriad and esoteric systems.

E-Deck is a heavily underused section of the Master of Stars, consisting of various primary access corridors and adjoining chambers. Most side rooms are crew quarters or communal living spaces—far less important locations due to the recent shortage in personnel. The Wayfinders recently started using some of these chambers to store nonthreatening alien objects.

When you arrive E-Deck is in total darkness, making the first order of business to restore power to the lights and the cameras prior to entering the area.

DC 15 Computers or Engineering:

You can reroute power into the local systems. This quick juryrigging only provides limited power to the section of E-Deck, but it is enough to restore moderate computer functionality

DC 14 Diplomacy:

You convince Fitch to send down a mechanic.

Finally back at it. Sorry for the delay.

Male

Sorry everyone. I’ve been under the weather a few days. I’ll have an update up tomorrow.

Male

After Ceren leaves the Starfinders continue on with no time to waste.

The station’s Armada can be seen from the shuttle’s view screen as it takes off, gleaming figures standing out against the emptiness of space. The Master of Stars immediately stands out from the rest, as layers and layers of scaffolding obscure its hull. Tiny lights flicker among the metal beams as distant figures weld plates and heat shields to the ship’s exterior. The shuttle smoothly glides closer until it reaches the starship’s docking bay, slipping through the magic field that keeps the hold pressurized with breathable atmosphere. As the shuttle doors open, a small drone flies in and pops up a holoscreen, displaying a harried-looking ratfolk.

“Finally, fresh meat!” the ysoki exclaims over the screen, sounding pleased. “Name’s Fitch—pleasantries over, time to get to work. I had some trouble earlier with the lights flickering on the ship, and now both the lights and computers have suddenly gone out on E-Deck. No idea what’s causing it, but you work this job long enough and—” Fitch’s attention flicks to something offscreen, and she shouts “Kirkath! The welding torch is not a toy! You wanna go in the toddler’s pen with the other kids?” She snorts dismissively before continuing, “Sorry, some of these little ones would cut off their own heads if I let them. Anyway, it could be some lunkhead screwed up the wiring, but that’s a pretty big system failure for a simple electrical short. I’d prefer to send in some people with combat training to scout it out, just in case someone or something is sabotaging the ship. If it’s nothing, great, get the power back on if you can. If there’s something suspicious, use your comm units to report in to me. I’ll give you the access codes, so—Selicha! If you touch that panel I will staple you to the hull!”

The screen on the drone cuts out, then flashes to display the ship’s schematics and the passwords for the computers on E-Deck.

Everyone:

Anyone with a comm unit can use it to continue speaking with Fitch. Unless you have something to report to Fitch, the Wayfinders’ leader is too busy to give anything more than brief responses. You can use the working lifts and maintenance tunnels to reach E-Deck. The doors on E-Deck are closed and do not automatically open without power, but since the magnetic seals on the doors are also disabled due to the power loss, you can force their way through with no roll required.

Sorry for the delay. I have a house full of sick people yet again. To add insult to injury my hot water heater went out this weekend and just now got fixed. Ahhhhhhh.

I’m their current GM and its unfortunate that I can’t give them what they deserve. Whoever takes this over will not be disappointed. They are a great group of longtime players and you will enjoy having them. If you need anything from me please let me know.

Male

We will move on lot the next quest. I figured you were ready, but didn’t have a chance to post last night because I got home late. I’ll get you one up later today.

Male

I apologize, but I thought I had this post up all ready. It appears as though it’s not the case.

I would like to apologize for my absence, but life has been busy. Unfortunately that’s what brings this post to life. I will have to call this game as is. I have too many things going on and will not be able to keep up. I have recently started playing and GMing on discord and will be moving over to there after a game or two finish. I have also decided it will be easier for me to focus solely on 2E and some Starfinder.
I greatly appreciate the time and effort everyone put into their characters and loved all your concepts.
I hate having to stop a game that I’m very interested in, but I gotta do what I gotta do.
I sincerely appreciate your time and wish you happy gaming.

OMID continues to drag Ceren away from the action while Mega comes within range of the Blue thug and swings away with his hammer. He manages to hit the thug directly in the chest and opens up a small bleeding wound.Rizzit cozzies up to the red thug and manages to give him a shankingI will never get the picture of ysoki shanking a thug out of my head, lol.. Rizzits shanking kills the thug instantly. Immediately after the red thug dies Levys blast hits the dead thug on the ground.Roddy manages to hit the blue thug with his patent pending weapon, or hammer fist. Nalo strikes at the blue thug and opens up some fresh wounds with his claws.

The blue thug, after being sliced open, drops his pistol and takes off out of sight.

Once you defeat the gangers, Ceren seems unperturbed by the gangers’ appearance. ”I am confident that your work at falsifying my death should throw off future investigations into my whereabouts. Now I must hurry and go into hiding. I thank you for your help.”Ceren immedately turns around to depart and walk away.

If you have nothing else for Ceren then I will update tomorrow. If you have something else for her then she will depart after you are done.

Male

Well i'm still here. Unfortunately I am having a hard time keeping up with all of my games. I do believe it is in my best interest to stick with running my PFS games as of right now. You all have been together a long time and you deserve a GM who can keep up with everyone. For this reason I will have to say it is time to search for a replacement GM. I hate doing it, but you all deserve a GM who can keep up. I am also migrating all my current games to discord after I close up the few I have here. I have enjoyed all of you while I have had you and wish you happy gaming. Let me know if you need some help finding a GM.

Male

OMID begins to pull Ceren away as Nalotrunos swipes away with his claws. Unfortunately he misses. Levy takes a show with a pistol and hits a thug directly in the chest. Mincey lashes out with a knife and slices a thug deep in the legs. It opens up a huge gash with blood begins to flow freely. Mega moves closer. Roddy bring the pain with his Glasz Cannon[ooc]Patent pending]/ooc]and nails the thug right in the head. A large cut opens up above the thugs eye. The yellow thug falls over dead.

GM Rolls:

The blue thug fires away at Nalo.
Blue: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Damage, Non lethal: 1d4 ⇒ 4
The Red thug fires away at Roddy
Red: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Damage, Non lethal: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Round 2
Everyone is up

Male

Conveniently, the documents relevant to your investigation—maps of the city from long ago, official records from government archives, and the like—are strewn about Obahar’s desk.
As you begin to grab them an unexpected visitor comes in.

“Good thing I was around, or the old man would be long dead. Those wounds were a lot uglier before I showed up.” He introduces himself and explains that ”I am here on behalf of Grandmaster Torch to offer aid to you—if you agree to Torch’s conditions.”

Picture in the notes

Male

The blue thug fires away at Nalo. Hitting him in his side.
Blue: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Damage, Non lethal: 1d4 ⇒ 4
The Red thug fires away at Roddy also hitting him in his side
Red: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Damage, Non lethal: 1d4 ⇒ 2
The yellow thug also fires away at Roddy. This show manages to hit Roddy in his leg.
Yellow: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Damage, Non lethal: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Male

”Move aside. Do not get in our way”one thug says. As one thug talks they all move closer to the bridge.

Levy:

You know that these are hired thugs and believe that Cerens identity to be compromised. They traced her location before her identity was changed and are here to bring her in.

Initiative:

Blue thug: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Red Thug: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Yellow Thug: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Mega Kodrgo 2: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (8) + 0 = 8
Levylissa: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
OMID: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Roddy: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Nalo: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Rizzit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Sorry about the scale on the map, but this map doesn’t work too well in Google slides. It seems the dice have rolled in my favor.
I will get the actions of the thugs up right after this post.

Male

Open to all citizens, Jatembe Park occupies a wide portion of the Eye of Absalom Station. Filled with lush trees and open grass fields, the park offers some natural terrain to the otherwise metalclad station. Ceren’s meeting point is one such forested portion of
the park, specifically a spot often ignored by citizens due to the winding path required to reach it.

While Ceren waits for you on the bridge you approach and see three thugs approaching her.

Map is updated. Place you tokens on the map.

Male

Inside the home, you discover that Obahar lives an austere life—the main floor consists of a tiny kitchen, a sitting room, and a simple bedroom. The second floor is a single large room—the scholar’s study—with a blocked staircase that once led to the third floor.

Second Floor:

Obahar crouches on a desk in his study, wearing only one shoe and chewing on a scroll. He is addled and unable to speak or understand speech.
There are bite scars on his neck and shoulder, though they have mostly healed.

Male

The Pathfinder continue on.

Obahar’s home is a dilapidated, ancient stone structure that seems out of place among the more modern dwellings surrounding it. While originally three stories tall, most of the top story fell away long ago. The front door hangs slightly ajar.

One more stop before the dungeon

Male

OMID is successful in creating some false credentials. The rest of the Starfinders create some false contacts to go along with their credentials.
We will move on to the meeting place tomorrow. I need to get on my computer to update the maps and won’t have time until tomorrow.

Male

We’re still good.

Male

I’ll have an update up today or tomorrow. Busy week.

Male

Either is fine. I'll let you all decide.

Male

The Pathfinders deal with the machine and continue on.

Bronze wind chimes and clockwork statues decorate the domed portico of this compound dedicated to the goddess of invention. The oldest faith in Torch, Brigh’s temple sees regular worship from many of the town’s citizens, and also includes a meticulously organized workshop managed by the town’s religious leader, Joram Kyte. His friendly demeanor, active interest in the metal trade, and innovative crafting skills helped land him a seat on the town council many years ago. Joram’s temple includes a small shopfront selling magic items and gear.

Upon entering you are greeted by Joram.
”Hello there. What brings you here?”

Male

Holy s*&^ everyone. I didn't realize it had been that long. I'll have an update posted later.

Male

Levy:

You sense she is telling the truth.

Everyone:

So you need 3 successful checks to complete this task. The computer check is 1 so now you need 2 more.
DC18 disguise or medicine to transform the corpse to look like her.
DC17 diplomacy to provide new contacts in her new life.
DC15 Professions check in any field to get her a new job for her fake identity.

The Starfinders agree to help the woman. They manage to get a fresh corpse and begin to create a fake identity for them.

As you work, Ceren has Jubair collect their most precious belongings while she goes into temporary hiding. ”Here is where you will meet me. It’s called Jatembe Park. Meet me in 6 hours. You must hurry.” Before you can say a word she leaves with quickness.

Male

The old woman appears to be thinking deeply. ”I have examined my neural implants and realized I have the stolen files, though I have no idea how I got them. “
She calmly begins to explain her circumstances you.”I had indeed been a hacker in my earlier years—one of the best of the best in my field. However, old age brought on a degenerative brain disease, which forced me into retirement. Augmentations in my brain halted the damage and keep me functional, but I still have large lapses in memory and am no longer as capable as I once was. I must have slipped into a younger mindset, performed the hack, and forgotten about it. I cannot recall the circumstances, I am happy to give the files to you in exchange for your aid. Since I am guilty of stealing from Bluerise Tower, it is only a matter of time before corporate security hunts me down. I have no realistic hope of evading agents in my current state. I propose that you help fake my death to get me out of the hot water I have landed myself in, and that you place Jubair under Society protection.”

Male

The Starfinders accept the womans invitation and go inside.
”Why are you at my home?” she says patiently.

I know that’s a small update, but now the action is relying on your response. My daughter is good now. We took her in with a 103 fever, chills, body aches and a bad headache. We thought it was the flu, but luckily it was just strep throat. 70 kids in her grade were out with the flu. I dodged a bullet there. Anyway, we are back up again. Thanks for your patience.

I had posted this Friday, but it got eaten apparently.

Male

The golem stays motionless and does not move. Even getting close and looking it still stays perfectly still.
The golem isn’t doing anything. If there are no objections we will continue on.

GM Screen:

Rounds: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Other: 1d4 ⇒ 2

The air in this wide hall is stuffy and foul. The source of the rancid stink is readily apparent, for six circular platforms that line the walls are each heaped with filthy mounds of pusencrusted Furs.

Upon entering this chamber you immediately notice an ash giant playing with stacks of bones discarded from its meals.

Initiative:

Giant: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Aladir: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
Iona: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Alikia: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Hyram: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Aerianna: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
