About GM Chubbs
I am the perfect picture of a geek (except I have never been a fan of Doctor Who or the Goodies) and started playing D&D in late 1989 with the famous Red Box, but quickly moved to 2E after buying all the damn boxes (the Basic, Expert, Companion, Master and Immortal sets) and barely using them! A fan of the Dragonlance Chronicles and all fantasy, I was quickly swept up by roleplaying and started my own group in early 1990.
I spent a good portion of my late teens and early twenties at university and found a fantastic crowd of avid roleplayers. Many of these fine individuals are members of the notorious League of Ordinary Gamers! Well, to be honest, we have no notority at all!
Most of my gaming experience has been through 1E, 2E and 3E D&D in Dragonlance, Greyhawk, Planescape, Spelljammer and the Forgotten Realms. While I have played more the GMed, I have very fond memories of running campaigns in the Dalelands, the North and the Shining South. The Grey Box and FR1 are probably my two favourite TSR products ever!
