Interactions/interjections within any of these ending bits is acceptable; I'm just getting everything out now. Having stamped out the Shadow Lodge in Sothis, the group receives the grateful thanks of Venture-Captain Norden Balentiir and the Pathfinders of the Sothis Lodge. The former Pathfinders the PCs were able to save also express their gratitude. The Society ensures the remaining cursed items are no longer a danger and safely locks them in the Pathfinder vaults in the Grand Lodge, where security is tighter than in the regional Sothis facility. The resident sorcerer, Zahur, disappears into the depths of the Grand Lodge for extensive questioning after avoiding any legal problems (after "object-oriented curse") was deemed the cause for his involvement. Lazuli is not seen again and remains off the radar of the local law. She is, however, black-marked within the Society. She has, however, left message for each of the clergy (and and extra one for Varg via Luisila, not noting any holy symbols) at your respective temples, thanking you for not snitching and that you could meet her in a small village outside the city, should you desire it. Everyone is lauded with verbal accolades for the thoroughness of the more combative issues and how they were handled. Otherwise, the whole "Shadow Lodge" thing seems to die down, at least for now... Indeed, it works, because you've got the move action to active Perception and you get a reactive Stealth one (as he's going to take advantage of your giving him full concealment), and then good odds of hearing the flying equivalent of "hearing a person walking,". Stealth (only versus Aakif): 1d20 + 16 - 10 ⇒ (12) + 16 - 10 = 18 Which is beaten on a 1; no need to roll. 50/50, low is bad: 1d2 ⇒ 1

The floor of this cool subterranean chamber is formed from the natural bedrock on which the city rests, and the dusty clay bricks of the walls rise up twenty feet. There are several benches and wooden tables here filled with antique relics and scattered paperwork. Just as the Varg and Brachus combo move forward to encompass the whole room with Cayden Brand Invis-Away, a man is revealed from invisibility as Brachus enters through the doorway! Since everyone was pretty much aware of everyone else and everyone had a conversation (also strangely because Brachus cast before he went in, as odd as that sounds), no surprise round! Map updated for clarity of squares and because I've finally actually sat down at my computer for the first time in a while. There has been no casting during the discussion, as "casting in a speaking voice" is a DC at which even the distance you were at is pretty much an auto-succeed for this group. Would have noted such in the actual text, probably with Spellcraft spoilers. Though everyone's pretty much aware that if your minute-long buffs are still going... The Red Zone is for the placement and positions of PC and possibly starting of initiative, based on your response. Mostly seeing if Brachus has any buffs left to distribute; I don't recall what he has and hasn't cast yet (and doesn't use handy strikeout tags on his spell list). Since I'm posting anyways, an additional note regarding the belt: Its effects (as described by the manilla folder) are NOT a condition that must be cleared to remain a legal character... A set of steep, banistered steps climbs the eastern wall of this low-ceilinged basement. There are large clay urns, crates, and boxes against the walls. A rough tunnel, seven feet in height, has been dug into the middle of the northern wall. Luisila notices the banister at the bottom is fairly worn, suggesting that people have been using it to slide over instead of exiting the stairs like uncool nerds who want to fall in pits. Note that since there are no doors remaining between you and the expected end boss of the Sothis Shadow Lodge, I am presuming magics are not being cast down here unless otherwise stated (in case of more hilarious stealth attemps.) -Posted with Wayfinder

The room proves untrapped as does its only other door. In the next room... This white-walled chamber holds two stone benches and there are storage jars made of pottery and alabaster, as well as shrouds and funerary masks stored on and around shelves and tables. A stairway on the wall opposite the door leads down. The pungent smell of astringent chemical compounds fills the air. There is an old papyrus tome on the eastern shelves, though the hieroglyphs inside it are far older than any of the unreadable scripts seen about town. An old belt made of electrum scales rests on a bench and has a closed manilla folder next to it. The belt detects magic. No traps are detected here as well. I open the book:
There are pictures of races with the power of sanctified authority. Woodblock prints inside depict throngs of gnolls, goblins, and lizardfolk cowing before gilded Pharaohs.
There's also pictures that are probably supposed to be words of some sort, but nobody in the group can quite read them. I open the folder: Files, ready for the cabinet! You are now playing Printers and Paperwork.
"You enter the Downtown Office at at 9am, and the operations supervisor is waiting for you with the Southshore Move Project in hand..." No, wait; it's a catalogue of magic items that are cursed and stolen from the catalogue. Looks like a headdress, a khopesh, a belt, a scarab, and some dust from a funerary urn are all listed.

@Lu: I am familiar with the spell, albeit not a fan in games I have more control over. The last thing Enchantment needs is more low level spells that negate their school's spells of all levels. Varg is free to act, as I agree with half of the big thread about delaying when paralyzed. It is clearly a mental action, though it would forego the full-round extra saves. Map updatage is formally requested for the general remainder dungeon. Everyone successfully enters the first, entryway room (with varying degrees of success in sneaking.) No traps are detected nor any further locks into the room. There are tracks going directly from the front door to the next door, though only a true hunter could ascertain any more detailed information. The next room is more cluttered, regardless of viewing method. This long room has two rows of stone slabs, each showing the shape of a sheet-covered cadaver on its surface. Strips of fabric and rolls of cloth wrapping lie strewn around the chamber while lines of thread stretch across the room, hung with sheets, obscuring parts of the area. There are a few other furnishings, such as cupboards and benches along the north wall. The chamber has the clinical smell of bitter alkaline. -Posted with Wayfinder
