So I have been running this AP for over a year now. The party is playing this placed in Eberron.

I have replaced Ustalav with Karrnath. The Whispering Way is a cult working for the great good of Lady Vol.

They are closing in on getting to Wake of the Watcher.

I have placed the campaign in Karrnath and the Lhazaar Principalities.

For Wake of the Watcher, Illmarsh is going to be on the shores of Lake Dark. Thrushmoor will be replaced with Irontown.

I am not big on the whole alien angle and so am adjusting things (not a Chutulu fan here), the skum are going to be with Koa-Toa or Saughan. The church that is in town will be dedicated to the Blood of Vol.

I was thinking since Lake Dark is a manifest zone to Mabar, to replace the Mi-Go and more alien aspects with undead aspects that have come over from Mabar. Or maybe Yugoloth.

I am looking for some ideas to switch things around along these lines. Does anyone have any ideas??

Greetings All,

I am really interested in converting the Pathfinder Adventure Path Carrion Crown to the Forgotten Realms setting. But not knowing the lore of Faerun that well, I am a bit at a lose as to where I would put it and who would be who. My players have gotten me sucked into the Forgotten Realms, but this is an amazing Adventure Path.

Damara and Vaasa seem like an interesting option. And there is Zhengyi already there. However considering how recently the Bloodstone Wars happened (within the last 100 years of the most current year) it seems like a bit much and the lack of the Whispering Tyrant (Zhengyi in FR) being gone for hundreds of years seems like it would take away from some of the mystic of what is happening in the Adventure Path.

What about somewhere else in the area of Amn to Netheril?

Are there any other major liches that have gone to legend in the Forgotten Realms?

What about the Cult of the Whispering Way trying to bring back the lich. Seems them being members of the Zhentrim? Some other cult? Make this a new cult?

I am really looking for some help as I do not know the Forgotten Realms that well.

Thanks

So I use Hero Lab and a question came up this weekend in the mythic campaign that I am a part of about the damage bonus on the smite.

I figured out what Hero Lab has been doing, but I am not sure if this is accurate or not. My initial look into the Mythic rules did not come up with anything and I wanted to see if it was accurate or not.

It seems that when i tick the Smite Button in Hero Lab it is adding level and HALF the Mythic tier to the damage.

The pally in question is 18 lvl/8 mythic. It would have normally been expected that the damage bonus for smiting would be +18 (or +36 on first swing) but it was adding +22 (or +44 for first swing).

Is this accurate or is Hero Lab off in this regard. I know there are other occasion math errors in Hero Lab so I do not trust it completely but I want to double check in case it was correct.

Hey there everyone.

I am looking for modules that have been set in Ustalav. Preferably low to mid level range.

Or potentially/additionally modules that happen in the Hold of Belkzen would also do but these would have to be low level.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

So I am learning about haunts and whatnot. Searching the forums has been helpful in answering most of my questions. However one is still outstanding.

What really does the notice roll have on a haunt encounter.

I mean once a haunt manifests then everyone would notice it, whether you are under it's effects or not.

Is the only benefit in noticing a haunt the ability to act in the surprise round before the haunt "grabs hold of you"?

I am looking for some undead heavy modules. Any level range is fine.

But basically what of the current modules that pathfinder has put out are pretty undead heavy?

Hey there Everyone,

I am looking for which Adventure Path has the most Undead.

I am looking to level up a group of undead fighters for something beyond the adventure path. But would like the players to game some undead knowledge and experience.

So looking for an adventure path that has a bunch of undead in it.

Suggestions?

Seems Carrion Crown would have a bunch. Mummy's Mask perhaps?

So I am relatively new to the game though with a solid foundation in old school AD&D.

I am a bit confused by prestige classes and archtypes.

Do prestige classes take the place of new levels? Add to?

So if I meet the requirements of a prestige class what does taking the prestige class mean moving forward? Do I still take regular class levels?

And what about Archtypes and how do they get implemented and work exactly?

Thanks

Phillip

Greetings Everyone,

Ok I am not sure where to start with the online gaming.

I use to be a pretty avid AD&D DM. Me and a small group of friends use to play a ton back in HS. I remember 3rd edition coming out, but I was too invested financially in AD&D to bother with the switch.

I have not played for 15+ years. I have played Dungeons & Dragons Online for the last 4-5 years.

So combined with the two I am well versed in the core concepts and ideas of the game. I certainly lack a lot of the polish and specifics of the game as it's changed.

I am wanting to get back into P&P and image my joy in finding that there is a ton of online gaming going on now. I have discovered Roll20 and have created an account and am trying to get involved in a couple of campaigns.

I am not totally clear on what PFS is and how it works. Seems it is sort of like a bit of a tournament type of play and character advancement.

I am just looking to do some gaming. Starting off with some playing, preferably with Roll20 cause it looks pretty awesome. I suspect I will get back into DMing here soon, but want to start off with playing to get my feet wet and relearn and learn the systems.

Is there any campaign that I could join, or anything that can point me in some good directions or anything of the like. It is seeming a bit overwhelming and difficult to get started in some campaigns and games.

Any help and direction would be very much appreciated.

Blessed Be
