This is a rough draft for Crisischild's submission. I'm reusing an older character profile just because I can.
Archer ranger. I took the Nirmathi Irregular archtype. It gets one additional spell per level per day and a single druid spell per day. With two Pearls of Power he has five spells/day at level four. Usual ranger stuff outside that. I also took the Stormwalker archetype. It replaces the hunters bond ability with an ability to shoot lightning a few times a day. Companion bond is terrible and I avoid animal companions in PbP since they have a tendency to slow things down so I wanted to get rid of it.

Thicket no longer remembers its long past. From its creation by Ghorus, through its travel to Fangwood forest, up until the attack by the Ironfang Legion. It just remembers waking up in the Fangwood and living there. It tends to the trees and stays a little away from town.
Is Thicket just a smaller Forest, or is Forest just a larger Thicket?
Submitting this guy. For the record, he’s built as an archer but I’m not married to the style. I can do switch hitter or sword and shield, whatever the party needs. Would just need to change my feats and move ability points around.
I try to post twice a day but I travel for work so the times I post are all over the place.

Roll for initiative.
Alright, I think I've got this profile completed and ready for consideration. I'm still going back and forth on the ability point distribution, I might drop dex a bit to get 12 Int for another skill point and better knowledge rolls. I dunno yet. I can generally post once or twice a day. I travel pretty extensively for work so it's possible I'll occasionally have a day or two without internet access.
Is "Fangwood Forest" an appropriate subject for the Lore Background Skill, or is that too broad?
I'll submit this character later today or tomorrow when I've updated his profile to comply with the recruitment. He was originally made for a Price of Immortality campaign, so he's already from Nirmathas and his current history and mechanics won't be changing much. Will probably polymorph the orc that killed his father into a goblinoid. Human ranger archer, uses the Nirmathi Irregular archetype, only gets one favored terrain/enemy, replaces Wild Empathy with bonuses to perception and survival in forests, can prepare one more spell per level he can cast and can prepare one druid spell per day. Lots of wildernessy skills.

Surprised that worked...
Forest stumbles through the window with the captains help and draws Asar's sword again. " You should have returned to the depths when your friends fell!" He cries, driving the blade into the creatures chest.

Forest wishes he were on top of the ship so he would have the advantage of altitude. "Are these undead? Does Asar's wrath still haunt us?" He sends two more arrows at one of the monsters, trying to prevent it from reaching the unarmored Doreen.

Two of the monsters are close. Looks like Forest's bow will once again play little part in this battle, but at least he can use it for now. He targets the one between himself and Doreen. "We're developing a poor track record with deep bodies ofmwater!" He calls as he releases an arrow, recalling the cave pool they were ambushed similarly in.

Forest stands at the bow of the ship, his green and black cloak wrapped tightly around him to ward off the misty air. Creepy fog is good to hide in. At least other boats can't see or hear us. But sometimes there are things in the fog. He thinks grimly. He strings his shortbow at Artemis' request. "If I'm to use this, whatever I might shoot will have to either be very large or on the boat. I can't exactly lean over the railing to shoot things next to the boats hull. Neither are pleasant ideas. Probably just logs. Aren't objects on a body of water attract to each other?"

Another diviner of fates. Forest thinks to himself when Hyder tells them about his dream. At least this one is more personable than the one we already have. Not as attractive though. "Prophetic dreams, huh? That ever come in handy, or only get you into trouble?" This dream sounds eerily like some kind of magic. Magic is troublesome.
--------
The expanse of the lake unnerves Forest. At least the cave had walls and corners, but out here there is nothing. Where do you hide on a flat plain? He considered it a failure to attack someone or something that knew you were there. You can't ambush someone in a boat. Unless you have a magical ring of swimming... He surreptitiously looks over to Doreen, pretending to examine something in the distance to see if she's wearing the ring, and contemplates pushing her into the lake to test its powers.
Dwarves are supposed to be reliable, so they have that going for them. "How did you get involved in this, Captain? You don't sound like you were hired out of chance."

Forest remains unconvinced. But what choice do I have? "Fine, to Tamran. But I'm not spending the next six months stalking masked men through dark alleys." That's what they do in stories about evil masked cults, and the heroes don't face the leader until it has turned into a fire snake or birthed an octopus headed dragon. Forest has had enough of monsters for now. He follows Artemis. "Asar could rise again any day. We need to get him his stupid amulet back."
He had done his best to convince his family that he wasn't doing anything that was any more dangerous than anything else he had ever done. His mother tried to convince him otherwise. His sister Melanie still wanted to come with. She insisted not being allowed to go was some kind of anti-Melanie conspiracy, and she had to be locked in the house till the boat was gone lest she find a way aboard.
Forest still has his fathers sword, but it was strapped to his back, unreachable in combat. Asar's sword had taken its place on his belt. There was something magical about the weapon. Despite its size it was light and perfectly balanced. The blade was bent and chipped badly, but Forest had cut himself several times on the unnaturally sharp metal. He had wrapped a brown cloth around the hilt and oversized guard in an attempt to make it look less sinister and to hide the large red gems at the base of the blade. He'd heard some city folk were attracted to shiny things, and not in a good way. He had returned Jenna's bow to her and was back to using his shortbow. There was a specific type of bow he wanted for himself, not one that could be found in the relatively small Kassen. He has hopes he can find one in the city. That at least would make the trip worthwhile.

"A bear sleeps in its lair, Doreen." Forest responds flatly before turning to the pathfinder. He does not, in fact, know anything of any Whispering Tyrant. "I can tell you right now what you'll find in Tamran. Noise and liars. How are you going to pick out a few people in thousands? Better to stalk them on the island where they're the only ones and their guard is down. If you have suspects, why not have them arrested? We have them for graverobbing at the least."

They were all there. All but two. Sariel was still sick, but where was Calia? And why all this talk of the capitol city? He ignores the stranger for now. "Why do we need to go to Tamran? We know where these Razmirazites are. Why don't we just go there? If we're going to waste time in Tamran we might as well send word out and wait for enough warriors to gather to assault the island in numbers. I'm tired of feeling like you know more than you're telling us."

Forest doesn't really need anything. The magic longsword works for him but other than that I can't think of anything. Maybe some special arrows.

Forest does not like how Cygar seems to be implying he knows more about what’s going on than he has told. This is not the time for cryptic games, people have died. And he was an outsider who conveniently arrived just in time for the coming of age ritual. If I find out he knew something about this, about the crypt... His mind goes to the townsmen that were lost.
Forest stays in town after the celebration. Normally he was in and out of town as quickly as he could be, he felt he could do more out there, but something told him to stay a while. Maybe it was the nightmares of a skeleton raid on the town. Maybe it was the increased attention he was getting from the townsfolk as a "hero", especially some of the girls, not that anyone had ever given him reason before to feel unwelcome. He just preferred to be alone. After the second day of finding him in his own bed, his mother hopefully asks if that's going to be a regular thing now. Unlikely.
He does not accomplish much over the next few days. He makes new arrows to replace the ones he had used in the crypt. On the third day he looks for Jenna to return her bow.

It could have been worse. A major disaster in the form of Asar's army had been averted and now they know some kind of larger threat is out there. Dimiria and Roldare were safe. A shame more couldn't be saved. Sariel would hopefully be ok. Time would tell, but Forest doesn't have time to wait around and see. He had to see about this masked god, regardless of what his companions choose to do. He tells his family of the events in the tomb and his plans to journey to lake Encarthan. They hadn't expected Forest back for a few weeks so that at least was a pleasant surprise for them. His mother doesn't want him to go, of course. His sister Melanie wants to go with, of course. Forest tells her she can't come because she's a girl, which goes over well and he wears a black eye to the dour celebration.

"Nothings your fault, Dimira. Not everyone is trained to handle an undead hero from the past". Forest assures her. "But if Asar isn't going to stop...how long till he comes back again and how do we stop him for good?"

"So it's not over." Forest mumbles. He sets Dimira on the stairs going up and sits next to her. "Sounds like there's supposed to be some kind of treasure you can unlock with the medallions. And they've got quite the head start. We should head home. A few more days won't make a difference now. Maybe they already got their treasure and left." Part of Forest hoped the last sentence was true. Better that these murderers left the Fangwood. Most of him knew it wasn't that simple. And they still had to answer for their crimes. Asar could hardly be blamed at this point.

Forest doesn't try to talk to the girl yet. Sometimes it was better to just cry for a while, so he lets her. The image of Kassen has raised more questions than he answered. "What does Asar have to do with this? Why did he come to life? And where did the other undead come from? Did you see who took your amulets? Asar didn't take them..." His gaze drifts to what was left of Asar. For that matter, why is Kassen here? This isn't natural, none of it.

An odd feeling, attacking a friend. At least he was still breathing. It might not be too late for the paladin if they can get him above ground soon enough. "Sorry Sar. Laird made me do it." They weren't at a position to ask questions just yet. With Asar re-dead, Forest rushes to Dimira's side and places two fingers alongside her windpipe to feel for a pulse.

Betrayal? From Sariel? No, that wasn't possible. Sariel was some kind of angel-thing. Asar. The sickness that pervades this place. That must be it. Calia wasn't teasing him about the blunt arrows after all, Forest notes as another arrow causes another skeleton to fall to bits. Would be more effective if could shoot entire trees like Artemis was doing. A breath of relief escapes him when Sariel, and not another monster or statue, comes in to view. Or what was left of Sariel. The unusually perfect looking paladin didn't look so perfect anymore. " Hey buddy. Did you do something with your hair?" The startling appearance of his companion causes Forest to send an arrow clattering off some unseen wall in the darkness.
Somehow I don't think these will be needed...

The light-inclined one returns. How did he get past the pool feeling as he did... oh, right. Calia. The cavalry may be coming, but it doesn't look like it'll be needed. They're doing quite will. They have everything the enemy doesn't. Sapience, skill, skin. The three S's. But with all that had happened so far it was better to not let Doreen be surprised from behind. " Doreen. Switch spots with me. Someone's coming." He steps behind the witch and contemplates the logistic of shooting through four allies. The stairs weren't that steep. He tries to target the "normal" skeletons since the others have so-called Asar occupied. Trying to time his shots to weave between his friends engaged in melee is not easy.

I should have asked this as well : So Forest can see the skeles? If so...
This one can talk. They're evolving. Wonder where his living friends got to, unless they're all dead. Forest targets the nearest dumb skeleton since Artemis is, as usual, in the way. The stairs gave them a fantastic tactical advantage. "Asar" is an idiot. "Calia!" he shouts, further punctuating his call with two loud twangs from his bow. "Language!"
Longbow vs Top Left Skele: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 12+1 mwk, +1 courage, +2 bab, +3 dex, +1 point blank
Blunt Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Longbow 2: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 6 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 25
Blunt Damage 2: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
If the floor is preventing Forest from seeing the skeletons, attack Asar instead.

Forest feels Calia's distraction is unwise, but luck is with them and the bats swarmed in the right direction. Should have let them sleep. If they go out now they'll disturb the daytime wildlife and be easy prey for birds. Forest doesn't like bats but they still have a right to live their batty lives unperturbed by humans. He follows after, pulling his hood down over his face to protect it from the stray members of the swarm.
"One person could hold this bridge against many for quite a while. From either side. I'll wait here till you lot have crossed." He hefts his bow with one hand and pats the hilt of his sword with the other. "If it's safe, you all should go quickly. Wouldn't want to get bottlenecked at the other end. And watch the floor. One giant animate statue per dungeon delving is enough." He takes up a position at the east end of the room so he can cover the bridge and still see down the hallway.
