Hey all, probably a good time to wrap it up. maybe somehow Fluuk and Klobber find their way back to 'modern' world, if not he spends a lot of time researching it, maybe even retracing his steps. I will be out of the country over the holidays and won't be able to post until after the new years. Great adventuring with all of you.
Fluuk yawns and rubs his eyes, "Whats all the racket?"
Fluuk looks back at the way they came, and hesitates, biting his lower lip, a part of him pulls him to stay, to try and infiltrate the tour and sneak out with them. He knows it is impossible, but his fascination with the strange world draws him like a moth to the flame. Sighing sadly he falls in line and follows the others.
Fluuk tries to take it all in. "Wow" he mumbles to himself, and then while posing for photos with the others and with his ape Klobber, he mingles with the tour.
Sorry for my slow posting. Have been mega busy with RL. Fluuk is waffling but probably more in the don't use the wish also.
Fluuk takes it all in, but feels a lack of anything wise to add. "Perhaps it is best to leave, the story will unfold differently, perhaps not better...I..don't know...." he fusses with his very magnificent hat.
"Hey we skated against those kobolds in the other world, perhaps we can use that to our advantage in talking to the kobolds. I mean, if they escaped to the other world somehow, maybe by some weird quirk of fate, they exist here in parallel as well. What if we went there and talked to the kobolds and gnolls and told them what is at stake?" Fluuk barely knows what he is talking about, but it sounded wise.
"We can do this! We have done much already!"
Fluuk slowly takes it all in. "Is there a universe where everything goes correctly? Is fate so written that there is no way around it? Surely there must be a path that doesn't lead to woe and ruin for so many."
Fluuk whispers "Ooooh. Crafty."
I will be out camping for a week. feel free to bot Fluuk in that time, he will focus on carrying the water bowls. I'll be back around monday the 8th at the latest. Fluuk/Unbolath
Fluuk tries again with another bowl - woot! "Check it out everyone!" Fluuk smiles as he carries a second bowl skillfully.
Back from camping!
Starting Thursday Jun 30 and through Wed July 6 I will be camping and not have access to the internet. I won't be able to post.
"Lets do this. We are heroes, we are supposed to succeed!" Fluuk adjusts his fancy hat, and grabs a bowl. "Practice time first." Fluuk practices walking very carefully with the empty bowl back and forth to get the gist of it. "Ok, water time. I got this." Scooping water into the bowl, Fluuk will fill it and start his march saying just the right words. "Step carefully, don't make a sound. Earth lady will notice, and shake the ground. We're heroes together through thick and thin, Fire serpent and Necro-whats-it won't stop us from our win!"
"You guys again! Hey!"
"Stand aside! I got this!" Fluuk adjusts his quite fancy hat, and pulls out the Scepter, and speaks the command word in a rather impressive commanding voice. "AQUA!"
Oh, the scepter thing!

Fluuk's eyes open widely, "DRAGON?!" Torn between wanting to go see it, and being somewhat fearful, his feet take him in two directions and ultimately he stumbles and almost falls.
Disappointed at the danger potentially involved in the ritual Fluuk's shoulders slump and he follows the others as they wisely look around more.
"So, who's up for some ritual monster summoning?!" Fluuk sprints forward and grabs a bowl.
Fluuk, with Klobber lumbering along creeps up to be with Tabaac. "What do you think is in this room?"
Crowding in close, Fluuk tries to peer in. "What do you see?" he whispers loudly.

Fluuk follows along merrily, tugging at Klobber who is busy watching a bug.
"He's so brave!" Fluuk watches and hope nothing blows up, although a tiny part of him secretly does, not because he wants to see Gobzilla hurt, but because explosions are so cool.
Gobzilla is brave he will do it ;)
"Well, do we just open it? Seems suspicious." Fluuk smells the door with his nose and the air around it. "Someone been eating cabbage?"
Rolls just in case.
Very stealthily the pair creeps across the cave past the shambly plant monster.
"Yes, maybe it is sleeping now, dormant and full." Fluuk follows along as the group moves ahead.
Yes, I think that is the best bet, to at least see if that is the better option. We may be able to sneak.
"Hey, whoah. This door is dangerous. It is connected to the negative material plane. It will channel deadly energy if we open it. We need to use the zombie machines somehow so we aren't subjected to it. "
"Hmm Conjuration magics...."
"Oooooh, doors...."

Fluuk, fascinated with the bugs making the plant thing stronger, ponder how he can harvest and abuse such a power..... "Good job! Great thinking! Lets get out of here before it notices us."
"Agreed! " Fluuk holds on to his amazing fancy hat and grabs Klobber and they book down the tunnel indicated by Gemdar.
"Give it more food!!"
Out of the corner of its mouth to his friends, "I think I have its attention! It wants food! Chef Gemdar, have you anything tasty to feed it?" "Plant man! We greet you and we will offer you food to feed and nourish you!" Fluuk nods his head at the thing so it knows we are going to give it food. "Pssst, hurry up!"
"Guys, I got this. I'm all about the wild things." Fluuk stands in front of the plant thing preparing to say the right words. "Plant man, we mean no harm, and I hope you are convinced by my charm. To let us pass through your place, please don't smash in my face." - chosen roll
"Scary, but fascinating...."
Fluuk proceeds cautiously, dragging Klobber along. "Whats going on up there? See anything?" He keeps his loaded crossbow ready to shoot anything that appears, but keeps his finger off the trigger. Wouldn't want to trip and fall and accidentally hurt anyone.
Fluuk takes a huge whiff of the air, with his enhanced sniffer. "Eeewgh....."
"Oooohh, this cave is so cool!" Hey, but we should be careful in here."
