According to p. 62 in Shifting Sands, the city of Tephu has a Lore rating of +6. According to the Game Master's Guide,

Quote:
A settlement’s lore modifier applies on Diplomacy checks made to gather information and Knowledge checks made using the city’s resources to do research when using a library.

Does this mean players get a +6 on all their research checks while in the Great Library?

I think I found an error in Amiri's iconic level 1 stats. Her speed is listed as 40 in hide armor. Shouldn't it be 30?

Seems like it's extra important that these level 1 iconics be correct if they're legal for Society play.

Hooray, my hardcover copy just shipped!

If you don't mind my asking, when did you order?

I'm cautiously optimistic that mine may ship out of this batch as well.

Mine is a January pre-order for a color hardcover, and I got a shipment email from Paizo today as well, if that helps!

According to the printer, replacements should be arriving at Paizo in the next few days.

It's been three days; has Paizo gotten them in yet?

Any updates with the printer situation? This book looks great (I pre-ordered in January), but will I get a copy by Gen Con at this rate?

Thank you for the responses! I've already been to BBC a few times, and you're right, there was not much of a board game presence when I went (Friday nights). I will have to check out Epic Loot.

Hi, I'm new to the Dayton area and looking for a local group that might be needing some new blood! I'm 33 and have been playing D&D for almost 20 years, off and on, and recently got into Pathfinder. I have a lot of DM experience, and currently DM an online Pathfinder game via MapTool, but would prefer being a player this time around.

I also enjoy board games and would be just fine with a fun group that's into such things (I particularly enjoy Dominion, lately). I have plenty of games I'd be happy to introduce, and am always willing to try new ones.

Weeknights 7pm and later are ideal for me. Possibly Saturdays as well. If initial meetings go well, I'd be open to eventually making my own place available as a gaming locale (in Beavercreek).
