Locations RL4 and RL5 are mixed up. Compared to the old AP at least.
The old version makes more sense geographically.

I used to play an AD&D clone, where a monk was a cleric version (basically the opposite of the warpriest, lots of control, detect and investigate spells and a skill monkey). The "monk" was called martial artist.
I still ask the players, if they create a new character and they tell me they rolled a monk, which one of the two.

That same game called barbarians "nomads". (They were basically a martial oriented ranger) and there was a race/ancestry/faction which was called: "amazons, from the river valley of the amazonas".

Beholders aren't in the creative commons, no.

I think you are mistaken, but thank you for the answers anyway!

Have a great day!

Yeah it is really confusing.
Beholder and Drow ... (and what have you) are now under the Creative Commons..., but these are still in the OGL.

The only two that I care about are the Barghest and the Darkmantle, but I am sure there are similar monsters already (which I am not aware of).

After a bunch of googling... is it this list?

As title says.

Are most APs dungeon crawls?

Also kingmaker, age of ashes and agents of edgewatch are dungeon crawls? That’s news to me

I think you misread something.

I am currently "playing" (more like lurking) in an Agents of Edgewatch PbF, and I ran Age of Ashes (parts of it) for another group. Several people in the group have played Kingmaker the videogame, so those three were out of the question.

Could you recommend a 2e AP (that is not a dungeoncrawl)? Something like War for the Crown (and is not Kingmaker, Age of Ashes or Agents of Edgewatch)?

Honestly, if you don't mind an evil (or "moraly flexible" party), then blood lord is probably your best chance in 2e for an AP that's akin to war for the throne. Quite a efty amount of politics between various factions, and the main "plot thread" is actually a mystery/investigation.

Also, if your player are interested by it, that ap is the perfect opportunity to play with a necromancer/undead PC, while it's much more difficult to integrate in other AP (you don't need to be a necromancer or undead to play bloodlord, but the AP was literally made with the idea to allow it in mind).

Wow! I wasn't aware of this AP. Thank you for pointing it out. It looks interesting! I played an adventure similar to this (concept?) in Eberron years ago, and I am sure I would enjoy it...,

But none of my players are interested in playing evil characters and when I mentioned Strange Eons to them they immediately said no to it. (Spelljamer and similar adventures are out of the question as well). They would like to play a game of thrones style AP (I guess war for the crown is almost like that).
But anything in Cormyr, Taldor, Tal'Dorei would be fine. (I guess Sword Coast and Varisia too).

Strength of Thousands or Quest for the Frozen Flame.

Thanks!

I just ordered Strength of Thousands. I hope it is good! :)

I am currently running this campaign and, I have to say, it is one hell of a good experience so far. That might mostly be due to the players I have and the tweaks I've made to the story, but I would say it is in the top 5 campaigns I've played in the last twenty years of gaming. Players are just about done with book 4 right now.

What are your favorite APs?

Every single edition conversion Paizo has done (including RotR and CotCT) has taken a lot of sweat, blood and tears on their end. Not easy to do.

Can you elaborate? Those were D&D3.5 to 1e conversions, with several OGL and other legal issues.

The story, artwork etc. is already done, it seems to me, to be pretty straightforward. If you are converting from your intellectual property to your own intellectual property it is purely math isn't it?

I would like to rebuy CotCT in 2e or SD, CoT, SStar, CC, SSkull, WotR, HR, HV, SA or WftC.
Sadly Mummy's Mask is not one of those.

Thanks!
Anyone knows why there aren't anymore?
It sounds like an easy sale, and easy to do?
Could someone ask a Paizo staffer (perhaps Mr. Jacobs)?

Which 1e APs have been converted to 2e?
The only one I know of is Kingmaker. Are there any others?
