I signed up to another game a while back cos I thought this one was kinda dead so I'm already stretched thin. So not sure I can continue this one. Might even have to bail on another one anyway.

"Sure thing my half-orc chum. How's this?" Finn and Mr Scruffles move sort of behind the big half-orc and will hide there to catch the oncoming kobolds by surprise.
To Opalia Finn says"Thank you Opalia, now I am ready to skewer some kobolds." "Unless they attack us from the trees again." Finn whispers to which Mr Scruffles echoes his thoughts with a whine.
Finn is gonna ready himself for the oncoming attack by turning towards the sound and drawing his lance and holding it at the ready. While he waits he looks around. "I didn't see Ichabod in all the commotion. I could use some healing though."
Finn's slingstaff has little to no effect. And he's hurt pretty badly from the kobolds attacks, so Mr Scruffles moves Finn forward under some cover and goes defensive while Finn gets out his sword, remembering that one of the kobolds started beating sticks together, probably a summons for help. Finn keeps an eye out for more trouble.
You'll be missed. I get it though. Also struggling a bit. But will see how it goes.
Finn moves forward with Mr Scruffles and follows up Lucian's attack with a slingshot of his own.

If I'm not mistaken I also winged one of the kobolds previously.
Finn pulls back on his Slingstaff and lets loose at one of the closest Kobolds to him, trying to knock it from the tree.
Where is everyone??
"THEY'RE IN THE TREES!!" Finnick yells.
So if anyone can speak Kobold or Dragonic maybe try ask for their surrender or we start shooting?
"Everyone see that? Pick a target." Finn takes aim at the area where a tail is sticking out.
Finn whispers "Guys... um whats happening?" then sets a stone to his Slingstaff. And a very low growl comes from Mr Scruffles
Finnick levels his lance if there's room for charging. If the bushes are too densely packed and he can't get at least 10 feet of clear ground he draws out his Slingstaff instead. "Eyes all around everyone. Kobolds are mighty good at building traps. So some might be set in the area ahead." Finn says.
"of course, we need to get some masterwork armor and harness for this guy. Right Mr Scruffles?" to which Mr Scruffles gives an affirmative bark.
Finnick giggles to himself and leans over to Mr Scruffles. "Hehe... show them how it's done Mr Scruffles. That gold piece is as good as ours." he whispers as he waves the piece of cloth he took from the kobold in front of the dogs nose. Almost immediately Mr Scruffles goes into a sniffing frenzy with his nose to the ground as Finn leaps upon his furry companions back.
After coffee Finnick and Mr Scruffles suit up and pack up camp and get ready for the march ahead. Finnick whispering to Mr Scruffles while petting him and laughing quietly. Mr Scruffles occasionally nuzzling the small halfling. Generally enjoying each other's company while waiting for the rest of the group to assemble.
"Hmm coffeh...."
"I dunno. Slaughtering an unarmed and bound creature is a little to bloodthirsty for our tastes. There's no honour or heroism in it. I say let him go and we can follow him and chase off whatever barrow of kobolds he runs with." And with that, Finn walks over to the hapless reptilian and draws his sword and cut's a piece of leather and cloth from the kobolds garb and holds it up in the air beside him. and from behind Finn, Mr Scruffles walks up and takes a few deep sniffs of the cloth, shaking his head once or twice. "Sorry Mr Scruffles, I know it smells bad." Finn then kneels and faces the kobold and looks him in the eyes and says. "Listen buddy. I'm going to cut you loose. If you come at me, this fella over here will rip your face off." He says pointing to the dog who lets out a low growl. "So best you run along." Finnick stands and moves behind the kobold and cuts his bonds but is ready just in case the kobold turns on him, with Mr Scruffles also flanking the creature, he lets out a bark to get the kobold moving.
No worries. Hope everything's alright.

Mr Scruffles stalks up to the kobold and growls a warning at it while Finn mumbles something unintelligible with a mouth full of food.
Finn's eyes don't open as he rises as if guided by his nose. "Hmm wuzzat... coffeh..." He mumbles as he almost glides over to the pot and though the slits of his eyelids he smiles and greets the morning crowd. "G'mo'nin. How's erryone shleep? All gud all gud fanks n 'yoo?" He mumbles wiping sleep from his eyes and breaking out into a great yawning stretch before slumping down and pulling out some rations to share with everyone at breakfast.

Are we back at full HP?
Finnick and Mr Scruffles are still sleeping and pretty much look as if they're hugging each other. Neither one's snored wakes the other, but to every one else it sounds a little like two carpenters steadily competing at sawing some wood.

I'm cool with the order of marching as before and with the order of watch. And hey, we don't have to be the most efficient team. I'm not that kind of player. Sometimes missing the rolls makes for great roleplaying and stories to talk about later. :)
"All sound decisions. Wake me if a shovel shows up and when it's my turn on the watch. G'nite folks." Finn says as he walks over to where Mr Scruffles lays and lays down beside him. Finn takes out a blanket and covers the pair and lays his head upon the dogs tummy and in minutes is snoring softly
Finn's cheeks go a bright red and with an awkward smile replies "Oh I..I'm sorry, my elvish is very rusty. I haven't been around many elves before this trip. Um... " then goes silent and looks around catching the back end of Nogrogomed's volunteering. "Mr Scruffles and I will take the second watch then if that's alright." Anyone looking over to his steed will see his paws moving as if he's chasing something in his sleep.
"Sure Ophalia, I don't see why not. Here." Finn says as he leans over and passes the mirror to the elf.
"I think perhaps the dwarven woman, since she is still recognizable somewhat, would be readily welcomed back among her bretheren, dontcha think Ichabod? What bird is that?! That box of rings is curious can I have a look see?" Finn says as the group looks over everything.
"Thanks Ichabod. I have some small scratches so I think I just need some slight patching up. And Nogrogomed, I see your point about the fire but I expect it will be a cold night without some warmth." Finn says holding a small stack of wood. Mr Scruddles however, walks in a circle off to the side and lays down on the grass, watching everyone go about their duties.
"Sounds like an idea Dai. We'll start setting up the camp and make a fire." Finn sets about finding a smaller clearing and gathering firewood and starting a fire.
haha thanks. I'm making up for my crit in the previous fight.
"Thanks Opalia but we're fine. Thanks to everyone's efforts Mr Scruffles and I were largely untouched except for those damn webs which, without your help, we might yet be struggling to free ourselves. So thank you." Finn says, punctuated by a bark from Me Scruffles who then goes over and nudges Opalia's hand slightly before wandering around everyone sniffing at them each.
Oh man I was so not useful in that fight at all. Hahaha.
"Boy, you said it friend." Finn says to Nogrogomed walking up to the group side by side with Mr Scruffles.
Finn rips at the wedding to get Mr Scruffles free.
And finally with a very concerted effort on both their parts Finn and Mr Scruffles pull free of the webbing that held them down through the fight. "Now where's that cursed spider." Finn says followed by a low growl from Mr Scruffles.
Haha man this fight is going poorly. I don't think a spidey fight has gone this bad ever.
Finn finally breaks free thanks to Ophalia's help and in seconds is tearing at the webbing holding down Mr Scruffles. Thinking that if he should fall at least his companion might make his own escape.
They struggle to no avail.
Awesome. Gonna get out and try help Mr Scruffles.
Oops. So is it my next actio now and do I get a +2 from Ophalia for the aid another. Wasn't sure if it was an automatic +2.
Oh so if that's the case re. Web has no -4 on escape artist, does that mean I'm out or should I play it as I get out next round or keep rolling to get out as if I'm still stuck?

Finn gets a little more wiggle room but is still held fast by the webbing along with his steed.
