Hey all just dropping in to say I'm going to drop this game. Me and my wife are in process of buying a house which is eating up a lot of time I would devote to PbP. Since this is my newest game it's the easiest one to opt out of. Have fun!

Hey just a heads up because I see a lot of posts that I haven't had a chance to read yet. One of my other games that I'm running is having some difficulty that is eating up a lot of my bandwidth for PBP. So if I'm silent that's the reason
My wife wants to think that Picard will just be him at his vineyard and old friends coming to visit and reminisce about old times. Every episode is a flashback to TNG, lol.
Finam as is usual was the last to embark. He said to the captain at attention before taking his post, ”Lieutenant Finam Galyn reporting for duty, Chief of Security." He added after a short pause, "Sir." He made sure there were no outstanding items that required his immediate attention and then set about familiarizing himself with the offensive and defensive capabilities of Bastion. He did a personnel review to try to head off at the pass any potential personality conflicts between crew members. When he was able he made sure to introduce himself to each of the crew with a warm smile, if they smiled back he gave them a dashing wink. ”You can call me Finam if you like. Say… what do you say to a card game or other entertainment later? My quarters, with a few of the other officers, some light music and refreshments.” I’ll have to plan on at least two maybe three parties to make sure no one feels left out because they’re on duty.
Finam works at tactical calibrating the phaser arrays and torpedoes. He hums a tune to himself.
Always up for connective tissue so to speak.

Delmoth here crunch coming soon, I have it, just not handy right now. I rolled up a Risian security chief. He enrolled in the academy as soon as he could to get away from his parents. They wanted him to become a sculptor. He found that he was a natural with a phaser whether in hand or on board and decided to go with the securtiy track. He also discovered a knack for languages, not too useful of a skill but something he prides himself on. He was assigned to help infiltrate a pre-warp civilization, the Uyo, to determine if they would soon be ready for first contact. Unfortunately he was discovered early on. While he was rescued his discovery sparked a series of events that ultimately resulted in nuclear war. 90% of the Uyo were wiped out and the rest were sent into a stone age level of technology. An investagative board determined he was not directly at fault but he still bears some guilt and has noticed he's been passed over for promotion several times. As is typical of a Risian he prefers to talk through any problems. But unlike his kin, he's quite capable of violence when it's warranted. He's tall with long dark hair and light olive colored skin. When on duty he wears his hair in a bun and prefers a skant uniform. He is a lieutenant despite being in Star Fleet for many years. |
