![]() Sylvan: Felix picks up the fruit and is about to bite into it but pauses. "Thank you." Sylvan: he then eats the fruit, expecting to drift off to sleep. This may be our only chance, so I will tell you now our plight. A giant came to our town with a tale of how his people are starving. It is our hope that we can take a cutting from your tree to, hopefully, improve their position. If you disapprove, let us know and we will leave in peace." ![]()

![]() "We have time to see to you. Now hush so I can save your life again." With Everard as comfortable as he can be made, Felix stands and begins walking slowly to the tree. As he does so, he calls out, Sylvan: He stops several feet away from the tree and waits a bit. "Protector of this vale, please appear. We are friends in need and beg you hear our story and grant us your boon." Sylvan: Again, Felix waits. Then he reaches out with Mage Hand and picks a fruit to give to Everard. If Mage Hand isn't strong enough, then he'll walk up and pick one. "My friend is sorely injured and the healing effect of the fruit of the tree in Erana's Peace is known to us. With your permission, I would pick some at this time." Sylvan: He hurries back to Evarard and feeds it to him. "Thank you." ![]()

As he had done several times before, after the others have gone to bed, Felix sneaks out. This time, however, he doesn't stray far from the inn. At least not at first.

![]() "Not us, sir. The giants. They've sent a representative to ask for aid. And you well know we can't spare enough to feed a whole tribe of giants, but Nerisal thinks that a cutting from the magical tree in Erana's Peace could be used to restart their crops. She said that you are the only one she knows with the skill to make the cutting and keep it from dying before it could help them." ![]()

![]() A crestfallen Felix says simply "I understand." He remains quiet for the remainder of their meeting and follows when it is time to go. He gives one last forlorn look back as they leave. At a rest point Felix dwells upon what happened. "She was too good for me anyway. I mean, she is a queen after all. And did you hear how she said it? Very classy. Its probably better this way, you know." Felix's ruminations don't hinder his appetite though. [b]"You going to finish that?" ![]()

Sudden Death throw off
Surprised that the Chief didn't just take the win, Felix steps up to the line after the Chief fails to score. He misses too. The Chief takes his next throw and scores. Then Felix gets this one last throw. His aim is true, but lacks force and bounces off the board.
Felix gets closer to her, but stays out of arm's length. He falls to his knees. "The giants to the north are having trouble, but first, I must confess something to you. When we went to the pixie circle for mushrooms, we saved them from a rampaging ogre and one of them rewarded me with a kiss. I'm sure she was just elated for our help and it meant nothing to me, but it stays with me. You would know better than I, but, somehow, she has marked me with magic. I can now cause things to move about. I am true to you, but if this is too much, I will understand." He remains there on one knee. One hand over his heart and the other stretched out to Nerisal. ![]()

That works out to 228 gold plus 6 gold and 33 silver in loose coin. Is that right? At first Felix is elated at his haul, but then, Evarard comes to mind and he doesn't know how he'll explain the money to his friend. I'll just have to figure something out. Maybe pretend to find it and share some with him and Zayla. He purchases a set of masterwork thieves' tools.
"No, gold will be fine. I just came into some money, you know." Felix picks up the daggers, takes aim, and throws. Dagger

![]() Cloak and Dagger: Felix orders a drink and has a seat where he can keep a watch on the note while also seeing if anyone else has an interest in it. ideally, he'll able to sit at the table the note is under and put his boot on it. After about 20 minutes, if no one else seems interested, he'll retrieve it (ie 'accidentally' dropping a coin and picking it and the note up) before going beneath the tavern.
