Felitcia was to worn out from the mental strain to worry too much about anything else other than relief the fighting was over. While the others worked on clearing the passage she sat and meditated, refocusing her mind so that she could think clearly again. When everyone was ready Felitcia rose and said, "Alright, let's go then."
With the spider down and one spiderman to go Felitcia sent her spell out one last time. The magic tore at the thing's mind and Felitcia suddenly felt the walls of her mind close leaving her worn out.
She may not be slowing the big spider down much but she was at least hurting it. She unleashed another barrage of mental damage on the spider, hoping she could finish it off before it could hurt Siobhan any further.
Pleased at the fact her magic worked Felitcia felt herself begin to adjust to the rigors of combat. She was prepared and Felitcia unleashed the full power of her mind as she cast her spell again to daze the spider.
Felitcia saw Siobhan take another massive attack from the spider and knew she had to do something to slow it's onslaught down. She didn't think they had much mind but even the dumbest bug had instincts so there should be something to work on. She lashed out with her mind in a dazing burst of psychic energy at the arachnid before moving back a bit to keep her distance from their enemies.
Felitcia let he others handle helping with the problems they'd run into so far but that all changed once she couldn't avoid the fighting. The giant tarantula appeared. Felitcia let out a cry of disgust at the sight of the big, hair,y arachnid, and outright screamed when it shot spines out at them.
Felitcia's reflexes kicked in as she recalled a role from one of her films where she had to dodge a bunch of bullets. She manage to duplicate that feat right then as she deftly twisted and maneuvered and made every last spine sent her way miss. Felitcia straightened up, brushed off her dress, and then cast a spell to try and put the humanoids to sleep.
Felitcia didn't have much trouble deciding which tasks she would try. She was rather nimble so she took on the Essentials of Infiltration and Obstacle Avoidance test first.
Felitcia went around things, over things, underthings, she even dodged one thing by doing the splits all the way down so the watching men winced at the thought of it. She finished it with relative ease and grace knowing she might have been able to do better but not by very much and felt very satisfied with herself. As odd as it was for a spellcaster Feltica decided to participate in the Exchange of Hand-to-Hand Tactics as well. When her time came she snapped open her fan, a dainty looking weapon, and fought.
Felitcia proved very good at this too as she proved her worth in melee. It still wasn't her first choice when it came to a fight but it did prove she was more than competent. Finally she joined in Understanding Artifacts and Lore. Felitcia looked over the various artifacts, carefully examining them as she opened her magical senses to them.
While she managed to pass this test as well Felitcia wasn't nearly as good at it as some of the others were. She considered her skills barely acceptable and thought that maybe she should work more on these kinds of things in the future.
Felitcia was glad to see the last warg fall and even happier there was a survivor of the warg attack. She let the hobgoblins do their thing, it was part of this whole process after all, but when the guard panicked she rolled her eyes and approached him. "Oh calm down, they are the good guys here and aren't trying to harm you." She pointed to where the two hobgoblins were trying to tend to the wounded, "Give them a chance before you panic and you just might be surprised."
Felitcia was glad one of the wargs was down and continued using her magic to daze the remaining one. It might not hurt the thing much but it was slowing it down a little. Besides, as the villain of one of her first movies said, "Even a thousand cuts can kill."
Felitcia lashed out with her mind again, the power trying to daze her target.
Felitcia was surprised to come across the two black wolves who had recently mauled some men bu she didn't hesitate when Rachel gave her warning. Felitcia drew her fan, snapping the tines opened, and cast a quick spell to try and daze the one Siobhan didn't attack.
Rachel:
Felitca cried out in pleasure as Rachel took her. She may have been tentative there first few times but it seemed that Rachel had a very inventive mind. When Rachel had finished her off Felitcia lie there and caught her breath for a moment before she felt her hands freed. Then Felitcia returned the favor and between them they wiled much of the night away. When they had breakfast the next morning and then received a job while they waited for their ship to be ready to depart. Once they went to their meeting with the hobgoblins Felitcia found herself curious about them. They looked not so dissimilar from humans or orcs to her and they seemed friendly enough. As Alice introduced everyone Felitcia leaned against Rachel and put one arm around her waist as she nodded in greeting as she was introduced. "Ohhh drinks," she said in response to Alice asking if they should all have one together before they left, "I like this idea."
Rachel: Felitcia wriggled under Rachel's touch as she enjoyed the stimulation of her girlfriend's hand s and lips on her bare flesh. She moaned her breathing picked up in pace making her breasts jiggle and bounce enticingly and Felitcia's moans turned to a gasp of pleasure as Rachel began to play with her most intimate of places and devoured her.
Rachel: Felitcia happily slid onto Rachel's lap and tilted her head back and to the side as Rachel began to kiss her neck and shoulders. She felt Rachel's hands begin to slide her dress up her back towards her shoulders. Felitcia wriggled a bit in her girlfriend's lap and placed one began to stroke her hair, grasping it as her lover worked.
When the dress finally came up to her shoulders Felitcia grasped the hem and lifted it over her head revealing that there was nothing beneath it. Rather than completely discard the garment though she moved her hands behind her back and tangled them in the dress to bind her wrists and gave Rachel a very heated look. "I am completely at your mercy Mistress, please use me as you please."
When they had their room Felitcia watched Rachel sit on the bed hungrily began to approach. There was a noticeable sway to her hips and when she reached the bed she sat, pulling her right leg up beneath her with the left off the edge facing Rachel. Felitcia smiled and asked, "Now that you've got me alone what are you going to do with me?"
Having made their way out of the slums Felitcia considered Rachel's question and then smiled naughtily as she said, "Oh I don't know, it is going to be cramped on the ship I'm sure," she gave Rachel a pause to answer and then added, "and there will be no privacy either right?" Felitcia had subtly moved so that Rachel would have her back nearly against a wall as she let Rachel answer and then stepped forward to remove the distance between and pressed Rachel against the wall as she kissed her once more. The kiss was long and passionate as their tongues danced together in teh street against that wall. When Felitcia finally broke it off she said impishly I think we should go get a room and stock up now while we can. Don't you?"[/b] Her eyebrow arched at the end questioningly as she waited for Rachel's response.
Felitcia saw how the men reacted and was more than pleased at her success. Worked every time, make sure they think you're a threat and they run away like the cowards they are. The men called out directions as they fled and Felitcia called out, "Thank yoo~ou!" Once they were out of sight Felitcia accepted Rachel's hug being careful that she didn't cut her girlfriend with the blade of her fan. She leaned in and kissed her right there on the street for a moment before she said, "Yep, my last film I was getting paid three hundred grand for...I won't ever see that money now but oh well." Once their embrace broke Felitcia snapped her fan closed and tucked it away like she usually did. She took Rachels arm and said, "Let's get out of here, I don't want to take any chances if we can avoid it Rae."
Felitcia felt something was off as Rachel led them into a dingier part of town but wasn't too concerned at first. That changed as they got into what were obviously the slums of the city and Felitcia was just about to say they should turn back. Unfortunately it was too late as Rachel said she thought they had taken a wrong turn and some obviously thug looking guys approached and surrounded them. Felitcia had dealt with people like this before and she understood how to handle them, or at least she thought so. It couldn't be that much different than her role in one of the films when she was playing the good girl sneaking into the slums and was accosted. Men like this rarely were a problem when you showed no fear and made them think you were at least as dangerous as they were. Felitcia pulled her fan out and snapped it open before fanning herself with it and said, "My my Raerae, it seems like these men think they should help us out!" She covered her lower face with the fan coquettishly and added, "Isn't that nice of them." Felitcia said happily, "Could you please direct us back to the Adventurer's District," because it was a fantasy world and of cuourse there was an Adventurer's District in every major city, "My girldfriend and I just got back from dealing with these blasted fey," she looked over at Rachel and asked, "What were they again, Redcaps or something? A whole bunch of them?" Felitcia looked back at the thugs and then said, "A right bloody mess they were too, and those caps they used to wear? Ridiculous, filthy things. Ugh," Felitcia looked at the nails of her left hand and said, ""I am still trying to get their blood out from under my nails," she looked back at the greasy thugs and added, "do you even begin to know how hard getting blood out from under your nails even is? It's the worst!"
Felitcia was impressed with what Rachel could do with her powers as they explored the city. She let the knowledge simply flow through her and it was like getting a tour by a native tour guide of the city. The monuments were everywhere and the stories behind them were fascinating even when Felitcia had never been interested in such things before. When they finally stopped before the harbor to look out at the military docks Felitcia looked over at Rachel and said, "You have such a strong hold of what you can do with your powers it's amazing Rae," she smiled a bit and said, "I'm honestly a bit jealous of you," she finished as she poked Rachel in the sternum gently with one finger. Felitcia took a deep breath and then grasped Rachel's hand as they began to walk some more. "Let's make our way to some place to eat Rae, all this walking is making me hungry." Felitcia had picked up enough to know if they went this way they would reach some restaurants eventually. As they wandered they found a stall selling some food nearby a park and got some kabobs when Felitcia said, "Let's find a place to sit in that park there." As Rachel and Felitcia entered the park there were people walking through and an odd sculpture of a dragon made of what looked like shaped amethyst. Felitcia felt something odd about the sculpture but she couldn't make out what it was because there were a lot of people moving around and while she had gotten used tot eh mental volume it still caused her some trouble focusing. As they ate Felitcia watched the a little girl walking with her mom see the sculpture, the very life like sculpture, and her eyes widened. The mother simply said, "Come along honey, we need to keep going." The little girl was disappointed as she wanted to look at the dragon some more and just after the mom wasn't looking the girl waved at the dragon and the sculpture...winked back at her before going back to completely still. The girl squealled and said, "Mommymommymommy! The dragon blinked at me!" The mother laughed and said, "Sure it did honey," but she kept going and they did not turn back. Felitcia blinked in surprise and then nudged Rachel and asked, "Uh, Rae, did that statue just blink at that little girl?" GM: Being onery and bringing one of my old characters in for a cameo. With time until their ship was leaving Felitcia considered what to do. She looked over at Rachel and asked, "What do you think Rachel? Care to give me a tour of the city" She looked at those who hadn't already wandered off to ask if they wanted to join them but it seemed everyone else had already wandered off.
Felitcia was still surprised at the magic in this world. Back on Earth you could never make that kind of distance in an instant! The explanation of where they were and why the city was named what it was made sense and she couldn't help but snark, "Wow, a government actually came up with a name that made sense, who knew that was possible.?" "So we need to head tot eh harbor to arrange a ship right," she asked Rachel, looping one of her arms through that of the oracle, "Which way is that?"
Felitcia wore the best garments she had to go to the Opera with and sat next to Rachel while intently watching the performance. The story was thrilling and sounded like something from an ancient tale one might have heard from the times of Ancient Greece. She also envisioned what it would be like as a movie, fitting actors and actresses to the different characters and the kinds of special effects they would have used. Overall she had a lot of fun and was more than a little sad when it was over. As they left she had a good time chatting about the different cast members she thought would be good for the different roles with Rachel. Once they reached their lodging Felitcia said, "Night Alice, see you in the morning." Once Alice was gone and they were alone Felitcia turned to Rachel and said, "Now Rachel, I think we have waited too long and I believe you deserve this." She reached out and grasped Rachel's blouse and pulled her close before kissing her fiercely on the lips. Felitcia's tongue danced along Rachel's lips and demanded entry. When their kiss was done Felitcia smiled wickedly and said, "I think we need to get a room don't you?" ___________________________________________________________________________ __
She hadn't been studying geography much so she wasn't sure where Magnimar was but it had a rather pretentious sounding name to her. She looked to Rachel and asked, "So where is this in relation to where we were and why is it called the city of monuments?"
"A show huh," Felitcia said, "I'd be interested. I want to see what the productions here are like."
Felitcia was a bit disappointed at not finding someone who might be able to help her understand her powers better but there was nothing to be done for it. She'd just have to muddle her way through it. It was going to make her use her improvisational skills she supposed. When she was done she met back up with the others and asked, "What all did you find?"
Given her rather rare magical type Felitcia decided to read up on psychic magic and the kinds of things psychics could do. She figured if these Pathfinders were that learned then they were the best ones to check with. Maybe she could even find someone who could help her learn more.
Felitcia psyched herself up to tell her story while the others spoke of theirs. When her time came Felitcia drew herself up and said, "So there I was, finishing my last day of filming with a grand party at the most expensive club in the city. I drank far more than was good for me and failed to find someone to take me home with them to party longer." "Finally it had become so late that I had no choice but to go home for the club was closing. My driver picked me up at the door and took me back to my apartment in LA where I somehow climbed my way up the stairs, so inebriated that I couldn't see straight," Felitcia was putting as much of her acting skill to use as she could, "I stumbled into my room the door closing behind me, and to my bedroom where I tried to fall into my bed." Felitcia shuddered and drew in on herself as she continued her story, about how she had fall instead into a wormhole to another world and found herself with these others in this strange new place.
Wow, I am going to have to take a fair bit of time for my next post it seems. Time to put that acting skill to the test. This should be fun!
The next morning Felitcia awoke the next morning to find Rachel had already left the room. She figured the woman hadn't been gone long because the bed was still warm. Felitcia climbed from bed and used a washbasin to wash off in before dressing herself and heading down for breakfast. Felitcia took a seat next to Rachel after getting her food and sat down with a plate of bacon and eggs with a glass of juice. "So, what are we talking about?" Felitcia's leg brushed against Rachel's under the table after she slid her chair closer.
Felitcia smiled as she accepted the book and said, "Thanks Hope. I will read this and consider The Redeemer Queen's faith carefully." Felitcia looked at Rachel and then back to Hope, "We will look around and speak to the others here for a while I before we head out." Still holding Rachel's hand Felitcia asked, "Want to look around an mingle Rach?"
Felitcia listened closely to what Hope had to say and found that there were connections she had not expected between Calistria and The Redeemer Queen as well as Nocticula and Shelyn. The idea they were actively courting her to gain her worship was a curious thought and one that, being a modern girl with no real faith before being brought here, had a very hard time wrapping her head around. This was something that would take time and likely a lot of talking over with Rachel, for Felitcia to work her way through. "I know some of what is required for the worship of Shelyn and Calistria but how does one worship The Reddemer Queen? Also, is there some kind of a text I could obtain to read through about her?"
Felitcia considered what she was told and nodded in understanding. That explained the connection between Shelyn and Nocticula being in her vision but why was Calistria there? A good question and one she thought maybe Hope could help answer. "Some time ago," Felitcia said, "I met a band of orcs who took my companions in for a few days and they had us go on a vision quest of some kind. During the vision I felt three presences and have strove to identify them. It seems those presences were Shelyn, Nocticula, and Calistria, or at least the presences were connected to those three, and I have been trying to learn about them and understand why I felt them." Felitcia gave hope a serious look and asked, "Can you think of anything those three might have in common and why I would be important to them?"
Felitcia listened to what Hope said of Nocticula's story and what else she wanted to know. After a moment she asked, "Are there other deities that she is associated with? Does she have allies among the gods or is she an outcast from them?"
Once the hobgoblin opened the door and let them in Felitcia felt his eyes looking her up and down. She didn't mind beeing oogled, even if it was by a creepy guy. Felitcia nodded politely to the hobgoblin and said, "Thank you." She took Rachel's hand and walked further into the warehouse and looked around. There were many sad and lonely seeming art projects in the room. You would think with having other pieces nearby they wouldn't feel lonely but they somehow did to Felitcia. This wasn't to say they were bad, quite the contrary as they were largely well made and could have stood shoulder to shoulder with some of the greats of Earth, they just evoked different emotions than most paintings did. The sight of so many people in black clothes, makeup, and wierd hairstyles made her think of the kids she thought of as freaks back in high school. Felitcia leaned over to Rachel and said in English, "I guess you can find Goths on every world huh?" When the attractive woman with golden eyes approached them and introduced herself Felitcia gave her best smile in return and said, "Hi, I'm Felitcia and this is my friend Rachel. We came to learn more about Nocticula and her teachings and maybe a bit about ourselves."
Once they finished eating Felitcia let Rachel do the smoking. Felitcia never cared for tobacco herself as she always felt like she was choking every time she smoked it. It was also bad on her lungs and voice and acting is a very demanding taskmaster. Despite that she chatted with Rachel about whatever came to mind until it was time to go. When they finally reached the warehouse Felitcia was more than a little disturbed by the red eyed person on the other side of the door. She'd never seen eyes like that before and it was more than a little unnerving. Still she was here for a reason and didn't have anything to worry about...at least she didn't think so anyway, and Rachel was there so she wasn't alone here. She responded to the red eyed person's demand, "The shadow sent me".
Felitcia giggled at Rachel's words and said, "Well at the very least it means the physical relationship should be incredible if that old movie is right." She smiled naughtily and said, "It's said that jocks have sex all the time but Nerds dream of sex all the time making them the more enjoyable lovers."
Felitcia was glad she had asked Rachel for help as the woman knew the town much better and was really good at gathering information. It wasn't hard to find where the warehouse she needed was and Felitcia was rather glad that Rachel decided to accompany her as Felitcia wasn't sure what to expect of worshipers of a former demonlord. Dinner was delightful, she hadn't eaten Thuvian before though the same could be said about most types of cuisine on Golarian, but she found it to be good. As they finished eating and Rachel said she had something to tell her before their relationship went any further Felitcia felt concerned. Fortunately what she was told wasn't something that was a problem for her and Felitcia said, "No, way, you were a guy before you showed up here? I didn't think about gender changes too but since some of us became something besides human I guess it makes sense." Felitcia sighed and said, "If you had told me this when we first showed up I would probably have made fun of you or done something really mean. I...I wasn't always a nice person and coming here has made me re-evaluate myself and change. I'm still who I was before I just have grown up." Felitcia reached out to take Rachel's hand and said, "I don't care what you were before, I was an unabashed drunken, bisexual, nymphomaniacal, movie star, what do I care if your original gender was something different." Felitcia stood partly and leaned forward across the table so she could pull Rachel's face closer to her's. The short skirt she was wearing allowed everyone behind her to get a show as she pulled Rachel forward and kissed her firmly on the lips just once. "I don't care what you were before," she said as she sat back down and smiled slightly, "though that does explain a few things, namely your knowing who the avengers were. Most girls wouldn't have before the movies showed up."
Felitcia went shoping with Rachel, it was nice to get to spend some time with her and they had fun. When Rachel asked her out on a "date" Felitcia smiled and said, "Sure, I would like that." Felitcia remembered then that she had something else to do later tonight and added, "I do have something to do later tonight though. I have a lead on where I can meet the worshipers of the third deity I experienced when my powers awakened and it has to be tonight at midnight in a warehouse in the harbor district. I could wait another week, I was told tehy meet weekly, but I don't want to put it off since we don't know if we will be here next Starday." Felitcia gave Rachel a questioning look and said, "If you want to help me find the place, and even attend tonight I would be glad to have you come along."
There were so many posts that I didn't even read everything. It was easier to split myself off. That being said I will check that one. I just missed the delete window to get rid of it. Disregard the last post I made. I will work on a new one.
They made it back to Oppara and while the others mostly went shopping or take care of other matters Felitcia elected to move about the city on her own. Felitcia had an appointment to keep tonight at Midnight and she wanted to find her way there now so she knew how to get there. Depending on how long it took to find the right area she might have food down that way and simply wait until it was time.
I've been fine with it. I've had more troubles with my current internet source than I have programs. Brrr, it's a low of 0F tonight. X_X
I'm fine with that. I would have said you or Richard Jed and you make more sense being a straight up damage dealer. I figure Rachel and I are the last ones that need to be taking one.
Felitcia realized quickly she likely couldn't hurt this tattoo with her magic since she was fairly sure it didn't have a mind of it's own. Instead she simply stayed back and tried to figure out what the hell it even was while readying her fan to defend herself.
Felitcia was quite pleased with Rachel's response and gently grasped the front of Rachel's outfit and pulled her close as she leaned in and planted a strong kiss on the oracle's lips right there in front of everyone. When she let go and stepped back she said, "How's that for an answer Rach?" When they eventually found the spot to dig Felitcia let those better suited to such tasks deal with the work. Thus it was a surprise when the tattoo suddenly came off the human corpse and attacked Siobhan leaving Felitcia shocked and unable to act as the fighting started.
Felitcia was glad the fighting was over and was a bit surprised that the fey was so agreeable. It worried her that he was willing to take the message but figured it didn't cost him anything and guaranteed his survival for now. It would be more worrisome if the Mistress agreed to the meeting under truce. Siobhan news that she had a possible lead was a good thing and Felitcia was glad the warrior was finding she could do more than just smash things. That they would need a wheelbarrow and shovel was not encouraging but at least one shovel meant she likely would not be asked to do the work which was perfectly fine with her. When Rachel spoke to her about having unleashed her Psyche Felitcia was a bit surprised at the knowledge but it made sense and certainly described the process well. "So that's what it's called Rach, good to know. That dragon didn't have much he could tell me about my particular abilities so it's good you've got some knowledge he didn't." She smiled in amusement and added, "And I don't care how you knew, I mean I hear the mental voices of everyone around me whispering all the time so I have no room to complain." When Rachel mentioned the night before Felitcia smiled and said, "Yeah, that kind of sucked, I wasn't expecting to pass out like that, at least I think I passed out?" She frowned slightly as she tried to remember but ultimately shrugged and said, "It was a nice way to wake up regardless." Felitcia moved closer to Rachel, her body brushing against the oracle's lightly, and added softly, "Next time there needs to be less clothing involved though."
DOH! It has been corrected.
Felitcia was pleased to feel her spell take hold on the rock thing and lashed out once again while readying her fan in case the litte fey got too close to her.
After resting Felitcia realized she finished just in time since the leader of the attack came into view. The little fey was odd looking enough but the big rock creature was more than a bit disturbing. Felitcia wasn't sure this fight would be going so well for them either, not with that bruiser of a rock thing to deal with. She was going to stay well away from the rock thing and attack it from a distance since Alice was moving under her own power right now. Staying at the edge of effectinve range she lashed out with her mind at the rock creature and hoped it had a mind to affect.
Felitcia was relieved the fighting was over and they could take some time to recover. She quickly sat on the ground and lay her hand down so Alice could hop off if she wanted to. Felitcia then crossed her legs, feet on top of her knees, and began to refocus by meditating.
Felitcia saw Richard drop from the latest strike of the spriggan and felt her own power quickly waning. She was only going to get one more chance before her power ran out. She lashed out with her mind once more, putting her all into it. As soon as the power was unleashed Felitcia's eyes stopped glowing as she felt the mental walls of her psyche close back around it.
