Looking for some verification on an odd combination. If a human druid took the alternate racial trait eye for talent (ARG), would the benefit apply to multiple animal companions gained through the archetype pack lord (UM)? In addition would the benefit apply to a multiclass druid/wizard's animal companion AND familiar? Thanks!

You could with a buckler though right? Just incase I needed the AC boost temporarily.

So what if I havea shield on one hand, does that fact that it could be used for a shield smash count as having a manufactured weapon? Or would it only apply if I used the shield smash? Just wanting to cover my bases if my GM asks. Thanks guys!

I tried searching the treads but all I could find was, "Natural Weapons and Manufactured Weapons, Multiattack and Natural Weapons, etc etc etc. The question I have is, if I make a tiefling with the Maw or Claw (maw) alternate racial trait and weild no weapons, does my bite deal 1d6+(1.5str) or just 1d6+(1str)? I'm confused because technically I can still punch with my fists (not a monk so provoking AoOs), but this doesn't mean I'm going to ever use them. I know that once I get Aspect of the Beast (claws) I will only be given 1d6(+1str), but what about before the claws?

I'd like to put in my two cents on this conversation because I'm making a similar build and I haven't seen it mentioned yet. The maw or claw alternate trait give the tiefling a bite that deals 1d6 points of damage, whereas everything for the half-orc only gives a bite that does 1d4 points of damage. This was the biggest selling point for me as it has the potential for more damage.

Looping for loopholes? How is this any different than the hundreds of Oracles that exist who specifically take the Wolfscarred and Deaf dual curses so they don't have to suffer the penalty? I just thought this was a nifty option and was checking to see if it could work.

I was just curious if this combination was even a viable option. I know in the Blood of Angels companion its states, "Though these features are particularly suitable for aasimars, GMs can permit characters of other races with appropriate back stories or world views to gain them as well." So if a GM allowed a kitsune to take the Wolfscarred Face curse, would the use of its Change Shape (Su) counteract the spell failure chance?

The way I'm looking at it is that it would. Since the curse gives you a muzzle (maybe an even more animalistic than the kitsune already has) that causes a 20% spell failure, and the Change Shape (Su) acts like alter self; this would change the mouth of the kitsune to a human mouth, would it not? Thus having a human mouth would negate the spell failure part of the curse? What do you guys think?

Taking a look through the Pathfinder Companion section today, I noticed that there was only a 3.5 version of Elves of Golarion. Which got me wondering why has Paizo moved onto the featured races (Blood of Fiends, Angels, the Night, etc) when they haven't finished the core races. I know that the ARG covers information on elves, I just enjoy all the info that was presented in the other race books (gnomes of Golarion, dwarves, goblins, etc). So I was just curious to see if Paizo has any plans in the works to update the 3.5 version of Elves of Golarion to the PFRPG standards, and make it worth buying?

Sorry if this has come up before, I tried doing a search but couldn't find what I was looking for. If I purchase the pdf now, and say seven months down the line they finally compile enough errata that they decide to make a sixth printing. Will I need to purchase the pdf again to get the newest information, our could I just re-download it with all the updates, no charge/no separate errata file?

Hey guys, sorry for being a super noob but I have a question. I made my character as a message board alias and am now trying to register him as a PFS character. But it won't let me, it keeps saying that name is taken. So I check the user search and it bring up my character. Need guidance please help!

Is this in any way going to involve the adventure paths? I was thinking about wrapping my characters backstory around events from Burnt Offerings.

So I guess, I'll expand my question.

If a standard action melee attack becomes a full attack action using the two-weapon fighting feat, and a standard action ranged attacked becomes a full attack action using the rapid shot feat, why isn't there a feat for making standard action spells (and only ones that can be cast in a standard action) become a full attack action?

Thanks for all your quy's help!

So a full attack action (if you only had one BAB), via Two-Weapon Fighting, is basically a standard action with one hand/weapon and then a second standard action with the other head/weapon. No move action, still can use a five fore step, though.

Okay well maybe I've been interpretating the Two-Weapon Fighting feat incorrectly. If you are fighting with, say two short swords, if you wanted to attack with both of them, it would be a full round action right?

Or have I read it wrong and you get both attacks but they only count as one standard action, thus you still get your move action?

New to the board so please forgive me if this sounds ridiculous, and please bear with me on the long explanation. I am currently making a goblin with the Fire Elemental Bloodline for a play the "We Be Goblins" module. And I had a question about casting two spells as a full round action. Using the Core Rulebook, here’s what I’ve found:

“Bloodline Arcana: Whenever you cast a spell that deals energy damage, you can change the type of damage to match the type of your bloodline. This also changes the spell’s type to match the type of your bloodline.”

“Cantrips: Sorcerers learn a number of cantrips, or 0-level spells, as noted on Table 3–15 under “Spells Known.” These spells are cast like any other spell, but they do not consume any slots and may be used again.”

So by using this information I would be able to cast, say acid splash, as many times a day as needed. The spells element would be changed to fire because of the Bloodline Arcana, and would only take one standard action to cast and a free action would be needed to make the ranged touch attack.

Now here’s the actual question: If I take the Two-Weapon Fighting feat, would I be able to us a full round action to cast Acid Splash twice, taking the -2 to both ranged attacks.

Before we jump to the conclusion that Two-Weapon Fighting requires the use of a physical weapon, I quote the book again:

“Touch Attacks: Touching an opponent with a touch spell is considered to be an armed attack and therefore does not provoke attacks of opportunity.”

I look at the fact that they are armed attacks it would be similar to a monk using flurry of blows. So if this would be the case could my goblin choose to negate his move action and instead throw two standard action spells as a full round action using this feat?
