I appreciate the 25% discount you sent my way, so I picked it up at RPGNow a little while ago. Still need to read in detail, but with a quick skim ... having a large centipede as one of the steeds for your orc races ... now that's an interesting new twist! In league with a dark centipedal diety and they can even have centipede (chitin) armor, as well.

Yeah, that was great, Josh is a fantastic author (you'll love his upcoming Lizardmen book!)

How many variants/creatures? And pages?

Thanks,

Added at top!

DRAGON LORE is a new line of supplements for fans of The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game looking to enhance their campaigns. The Thousand Maw offers a new look at an old fantasy favorite, the orc.

"Orcs by their very nature are fearsome, brutish creatures who revel in dealing death. Regardless, the orcs of today exist as weaker, diluted strains of their ancestors, descendants of the fierce boar. The members of the Thousand Maw are Neolithic throwbacks to their porcine ancestors, breeding in isolation for millennia and thus their blood runs closer to boars than modern-day orcs. "

16 Pages, 4 new orcs variants, new template, 2 creatures, potions, poisons, armor and more!

Iron Wind Metals was (and still may be) importing the Pig Orc minis from Otherworld Miniatures. I bought a bunch of them last summer at Gen Con from IWM.
Pre-painted?

Unfortunately no. We need to petition Reaper to do some for the Legendary Encounters line. :D

Heaves Josh Stevens' carcass off on some unsuspecting 3PP.

Urizen: the moral is, some leaves won't turn over.

Fat Dragon only makes paper minis, right? Man, I wish somebody made plastic pre-painted porcine orc mins. I can't drop 60 pounds (+ overseas shipping) on a box of minis.

Here you went. What kind of product is this? Do you have an announcement about it somewhere?

Sorry, just added part of the introduction text above.

Hey all-

We've posted a teaser of the cover art for Dragon Lore #1 on the Fat Dragon Games site. Dragon Lore will update your Pathfinder game with new monsters, equipment, spells, exotic locations and more. The Thousand Maw is written by Josh Stevens, and offers a new look at an old fantasy favorite, the orc. Here's a short sample of the intro:

"Orcs by their very nature are fearsome, brutish creatures who revel in dealing death. Regardless, the orcs of today exist as weaker, diluted strains of their ancestors. Just as man is descended from the jungle ape, the orc is the great grandsire of the fierce boar. The members of the Thousand Maw are Neolithic throwbacks to their porcine ancestors, breeding in isolation for millennia and thus their blood runs closer to boars than modern day orcs."

Hey y'all:

There will most definetly be a way for 3PP to identify products as compatible with the PRPG. We just don't have everything nailed down yet (the RPG doesn't come out until next summer, so we figured we had at least a little bit of time).

Thanks Lisa, I know we will definitely be supporting Pathfinder next year.

I agree, one per level is a bit much. I think one per every 2-3 levels would likely be the sweet-spot for it.

Thanks Jason!

This is on the list to talk about this week. We'll figure something out that I think will make everyone happy. Of course, there can't be any Pathfinder RPG products until GenCon 2009, so we have a tiny amount of time. :)
Coolness. I know there's still time, but it's one of those questions that were bound to come up right away, so might as well ask it and have it be a feature. I know I have a lot of 3.5 fans that I'll be able to continue supporting thanks to you. :)

Ditto!
