You're probably going to want the mad magic feat eventually BTW.

On other spells to get: restoration (standard) is generally useful if you might be the party healer on top of everything else. Druids don't get that one. Instrument of agony or righteous might or angelic aspect are useful buffs. I'd probably get restoration.

On other items: You might like the rings which work for bloodragers once you have mad magic. The ring of vengeful blood magic perhaps. A quickdraw shield might be useful sometimes. With just one level of bloodrager you'll probably want some barbarian chew. And you will almost certainly want spellguard bracers.

I swapped out Ascetic Style for Mad Magic as the third lvl feat, as you said it's a really necessary feat for this build.

Yeah restoration is great, instrument of agony looks real strong as well, but i still like the idea of Bestow Curse. Hmm...

I didn't know about the Ring of Vengeful Blood Magic but thats an insane item! Especially if you increase your reach with Enlarge Person.

Barbarian chew seem really useful as well.

Thanks for the pointers!

Brawling armor is an enchantment for light armor. Stoneplate...isn't light.

You'll probably need to get the ioun stone commisioned, as proficiency in a modified warhammer sounds as rare as hen's teeth. Or even rarer than that if there are cults of Lamashtu in the area.

Halcyon and world walker both replace resist nature's lure. They're not compatible.

Lesser restoration is actually on the druid spell list already.

I wouldn't bet on vine strike working with ascetic style. Bristles bursting from your body doesn't seem transferrable to your weapon, regardless of how skilled you are with the weapon.

Edit: just a note on presentation but CL means caster level not spell level.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Great stuff!

Brawling armor
Oh that's to bad, oh well. Do you got any other good ideas for magic special abilities or other items?

Ioun stone
Yeah I didn't thought of it in that way, but you're right it would probably be extremely rare. Up for the GM to decide if it can be commissioned then.

World walker
Scratched it, got tricked by the archetype crawler website.

Lesser restoration
Oh that's real nice, FYI I thought it would be nice to use this spell in order to remove the fatigued condition after bloodraging. I'm thinking of grabbing remove paralysis or bestow curse instead, what do you think?

Vine strike
Yeah it's kind of in a muddy area, but I think it could be ok depending on how you describe it, up to the GM as well.

CL
Yeah that was clumsy of me, I hope it made sense still.

Hi all!
I've got a build that I'm quite excited about that I wanted to share with y'all. The build is not quite finished yet so I would be happy if you commentated some ideas and suggestions.

Background:
I started out brainstorming around the Blessed Hammer feat (I've included the description of the feat below). My aim with this build was to create an effective gish character on par with the magus. My idea was to find a divine caster that got access to the wis/sorc spell list for some good touch spells. I toyed around a bit with the lore shaman at first but the build became way to MAD. Then i found the Halcyon Druid archetype and jumped over. I realized quite quickly after that that the samsaran racial trait Mystic Past Life would be fantastic to gain access to some cleric spells to gain some strong selfbuffs.

Blessed Hammer feat:
Prerequisites: Ability to cast 3rd-level divine spells, proficient with warhammer, worshiper of Torag.

Benefit: You can use any warhammer you wield as a holy symbol when casting spells that require a divine focus or when you channel energy.

Furthermore, as a swift action when you cast a divine touch spell, you can choose to have the warhammer carry the charge of the spell instead of your hand. When you deliver a touch spell with your warhammer you can do so as part of melee attack made with the warhammer. If you drop the warhammer or the warhammer is disarmed while carrying a charge, the charge is lost.

You need a drinking buddy with the spirit share spell. No action drinking.

Very interesting, I think I've got a great drinking buddy for you:

Drunken Brute Barbarian with VMC Wizard --> Improved Familiar --> Faerie Dragon who casts spells like a 3rd lvl sorcerer

If you take the teleportation school you could swift action teleport 3 +INT times a day in lvl 7 as well.

Im not sure how many liquids a Faerie Dragon would be able to have on its person though.

Derek an alternative which would enable you to drink each round and worship Cayden Cailean for all that sweet flavor is to pick up two weapon fighting and then pick up blade and tankard style through the Divine Fighting Technique feat. Its lets you trade in one of your attacks for a sip from your tankard, and the tankard is considered a weapon which would make it completely legal to quickdraw. If you dip a level in fighter you can trade in the shield proficiency for blade and tankard style and still have a free bonus feat. This would free up your swift to be used for other things as well.
My Alchemists have all just changed their religion.

If you're heading down the potion path you will want to buy yourself a Cailean Fighting Tankard, it lets you store up to six different potions in your tankard :)
