Ufi moves forward and hands over two potions to Ekene. "I think that is all of them."
Ufi puffs forward and then quickly fingers his beads. "Hold on Ekene!" he calls out. A warm light suffuses the necklace and then Ekene feels a bit better.
Ufi moves until he has a better view of what is moving. He then examines the thing in the water.
Ufi sighs. All tooled up and nohag to smite. "Well done, well done. We still have some potions." he reminds the rest of the team. The rest of the badly injured team.
"I am just glad we could bring some light to this dark place." he adds, fingering his beads. But if the other runes activate, then the academy is still in danger, so we should hurry.[/b]"
Even as he raises his shield toward the horror, his necklace starts to glow with a warm radiance that spreads out over Muruwa, healing his worst wounds.

"While we are underground, let us remember the warmth of the sunlight from above. We will prevail!" calls out Ufi.
Ufi joins the crowd trying to sneak past the creature, pausing to consider what it may be as he passes by.
Ulfi drinks a potion. He then downs a scale for desert and jumps in after the others.
Ufi eyes up the healing potions. "Mind if I have a quick taste of one of them?" If noboyd objects, he downs one.
"So I see friend Kalaggi. I will be unable to heal your own wounds if I am dead. Luckily it seems that was not my time to be."
Ufi steps backward. As he does so the beeds around his neck seem to glow with some type of inner light. The light is quickly absorbed by Ufi's battered body. ◆ Step back (to get out of range of the spear)
BTW: I note that Ufi has the shield block reaction, even though he seems to lack the feat. I assume the feat is an oversight and he can indeed use that reaction if he is damaged.
Ufi settles his shield into position and then hurries forward to keep the creature in red off his allies.
Puffing slightly he asks "Who is slow?" ◆ raise shield
"Luckily we have those scales from this morning!" notes Ufi He peers into the gloom. "I suggest we try that pool first..."
"Right... so we may have to negotiate with Ngaja to get Tutor Ot back, and also with this devil..." Ufi looks around at his companions. "We have this!"
"Muruwa speaks truly" agrees Ufi. "We don't want what is yours. But our teacher has vanished, and clues led toward here. Have you seen anything strange around here in the last hour or so?"
He ponders what a leshy might like as a present.
"And the source of some water that ended up in the academy.." adds Ufi.
"Right... but how did the water get here, if not via that door?" wonders Ufi. "Of course in this place...the answer is magic."
"So... that runes you noticed before ... that pointed to the canal? The same one the water came from? Do you think you can make the door take us to the canal?"
"I think we could disable the rune by way of a short... ritual." notes the priest. "Great Tlehar, shine your light on this room and dry out the source of the water!" he intones.
Ufi scratches his head as the others tackle the puzzle door. "What do we do now? Go through the door?" he asks. Carefully he extends his arm out to touch the doors surface.
Ufi looks in initial horror and then fascination at Muruwa eats a beetle. "Truly your physiology is remarkable." says the big man, shaking his head. As time passes and his vision remains, he opines "I am hopeful I managed to remove the toxin before it could reach my head. Perhaps it had already bitten someone else recently?"
Ufi rubs at his eyes, peering around the room. "A rabbit mask...?" he asks. "Who wore the rabbit?" He then peers at Muruwa. "You Grippli are made of stern stuff. Do you have to prepare it especially to avoid the toxins and blindness?" Looking around the room he ads "I'm not sure how long my sight will hold out, so we must be quick about this. Is anyone else injured?"
Ufi warns the rest of the group "Some of these have poisonous bites.. take care!" as he hunkers down behind his shield. As a bug approaches he tries to squash it.
It makes a satisficing splatting sound. "Teacher... are you here?" he calls out.
Lot of games slow down over Thanks giving weekend. I'd not worry.
Ufi eats the scale with his breakfast, thanking Alandri for the meal. He sits on the bank of the river for a while, watching the play of wind over the water and the scattering of the fish. "I seem to recall that the root of the libevari tree, when boiled attracts fish like a lure. I'm sure I spotted some libevari in the market, if you will give me a moment, I think I can prepare it quite easily."
Ufi gulps as the bead in crushed. "While we wait for Teacher Oh... " he says. "Is there anything we can be getting on with to help you? Untangling nets?"
Ufi looks pointedly at the suns position, and then decides that it is much too nice a morning to pick an argument. "Sorry, but we are here now! And ready to help all morning!" He offers a small bow, showing off his bright blue shawl, and introduces himself. "I am Ufi!"
Ufi, bright blue shawl draped over his impressive form spots the guards late. Still, who would suspect the man in the blue shawl of causing a disruption?
The guards pass by, and Ufi continues on, blocked now by the team of hogs. Now, hogs is something that Ufi can understand, their needs are simple and they can be almost affectionate.
Tossing some rotten fruit from a pile on the street ahead of them, she encourages the team to get out of the way.
"Oh, I love the craft markets!" sighs Ufi.
He gets thoroughly distracted by a beautiful blue cloak. Feathers of exotic birds he is told. Beautiful. And by the time he tears his view away from it, Haibram is almost out of sight.
As the dwarf comes to the canal, Ufi pauses for a moment for a breather. Then, as he sees the runners plan he sighs. "I can do this!" he says charging forward. He steps forward and launches himself cleverly into the back of another water taxi where he reclines to get his wind back.
Ufi laughs as the dwarf sets off. "If I can't keep up with dwarf, especially one in armour.." The laughing stops as he sees how fast the dwarf in armor moves. As the dwarf vanishes into the crowd, he tries hard to remember directions
"Come on!" he calls to the others, waving. "This way!"
"A challenge! Fantastic!" smiles Ufi, the slightly rotund priest. He too accepts the necklace, placing it around his neck with reverence. "Let us be off! And hope that Alandri does not have us just sweeping and gutting fish all morning!"

Dakoyo gathers everyone close as he explains the cosmic oneness they all share. While he talks, he puts up his feet, and rests most of his arms.
Once the exploration starts in force, he keeps his eyes peeled for anything that could be a computer core. Or a wire leading to one.
Dakoyo starts to have flashbacks to helping out in the yoski kindergarten. "Hey. I said that was not nice !" he says, voice raised now. Aiming for the robots electro-transmitter, he again tries to bop it.
The first attack is wide, well wide. Almost embarrassingly wide.
"Return to the elements that you were made from!"
Dakoyo, really suffering now, remembers that he too is made of the stuff of stars. Moving forward again he continues to threaten the robot with his small staff.
"Take that you nasty creature! You are to stop hurting the people on the ship."
Dakoyo, not feeling very well, tries to smash the bot again.
As he frantically tries to keep its attention on himself. "I wish Nako were here!"
Dakoyo steps up to the robot to try and keep it distracted, and then thumps it again with his staff.
