"Kharans are from Kharas. You know, that country to the west of the valley, where they all worship devils and put people who aren't them in chains," Evert says as they walk. "It's no secret that they want to take over the valley, but their involvement seems rather odd. I'd wager that what's going on isn't exactly official."
