So for all of you who are unfamiliar with the way Pathfinder works, let me lay out a basic summary. A lot of the information you need to know is in your character sheet already, so I'll just touch on the role playing.

In an RPG (Role Playing Game), you control the action of your character then the GM (Game Master) tells you the outcome. Outside of combat everyone will describe their actions and the GM will resolve them. This changes when fighting starts. The game becomes turn based and we all go in an order determined by a roll we make called initiative. Then we take turns in this order until combat stops.

If I ask you to make a check, then you roll a d20 and add the appropriate modifier. So if the GM told Valeros to make a strength check, it would look like this:

Strength: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Then the GM tells Valeros if he succeeded or not. 4 is a particularly low roll, so he probably failed, unless he was rolling to do some very easy, like lifting a log of firewood off the ground.

That is fine with me. Nice job getting back so quickly. Now you need to make something called an Alias.

Go to:

1) 'My Account' up in the top right

2) 'Create Alias'

3) Name it "Valeros (Henry)"

4) Choose an Avatar by modifying the criteria to human, fighter, and male. Pick a picture that depicts Valeros, the guy on your character sheet. You could also try searching 'Valeros.' If you hover over an image of him it will say "Valeros" on it as well.

Hey, so we're playing Pathfinder, which you probably guessed. We'll start off using the beginner rules and premade characters before we move on to the full rules.

There are four characters to choose from. It's first come first pick.

Valeros Human Fighter (Neutral Good)

Merisiel Elf Rogue (Chaotic Neutral)

Kyra Human Cleric (Neutral Good)

Ezren Human Wizard (Lawful Neutral)

You will be bound to playing the alignment of your character. If you want to play a character who adventures for personal gain as opposed to helping people, then be the Rogue or the Wizard. If you want to be okay with breaking the law, don't be the Wizard. Just post with your choice of character. If you haven't already, make an account so you can post. We'll make aliases later.
