Estelle answers the captain’s question, ”Vee. V-E-E. Thanks.” My good run of HP was bound to end someday. I should be able to weather only a 1 this level. None of that gear seems particularly useful to Estelle, though if the Captain grants her anything then obviously she will graciously accept. She knows how shit works, even if she isn’t a fan of the current Captain (0/4 so far on Captains, but Draxxie could earn another chance). The witch goes to Jape after she recalls seeing it given to him on the last ship. ”Hey Jape, right? Listen, new ship, new deal. But I ain’t an a%%#~@*. I want my ring back, but you deserve something for holding onto it for me. I’ll give ya two gold pieces for it.”

Dripping with sweat and covered in bilge water, Estelle reports to the Captain the good news right after her thorough check is complete. She waits for a while, fidgeting before finally asking, "Captain, I don't need any spoils but... there were two family heirlooms taken when I was first captured. A family signet ring and my father's pocket watch. If you run across them, I'd appreciate the consideration to have them back. Both should have my last name engraved." And then she goes and bathes. It may only have been a couple days, but it feels like months since her last cleaning. After that, if there is time, she pulls out a scroll that had been tucked up against her right thigh and finds a quiet corner to turn it to mulch for Cry to absorb. Take 10 for 21 Spellcraft to teach Cry 'Mage Armor'. Extra OOC: If we DO get some spoils that would be best utilized by a witch, I'd love them. But I doubt the two we killed had thaaaat much, unless a lot was secreted in their quarters. HP rolled at level 4: 1d6 ⇒ 1 Eeesh, hopefully the GM has better dice.

Estelle gets to work quickly. Is it because she wants to get out of there before the captain changes her mind? Or before her knees buckle for standing up to the Captain in front of everyone? Either way, her knees do buckle a bit when she gets down below and the knot in her stomach begins the slow process of unwinding. Having something to do is quite helpful in that regard. Hopefully the ship is in better shape than her. Craft: Carpentry: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14

Estelle releases her held breath when Asami steps in and speaks. Good, she wasn’t the only one thinking this was a bit premature. She puts on a stoic face as Draxxie makes her argument. And it’s a good f*!#ing argument! F~%~! Why does it seem like she is a natural leader? Shit, she knows all the important positions. Is handing them out like candy to her new followers. F!!$, she’s gonna be captain. Is that a bad thing? Is it really? The crew needs leadership, not a split decision. I know you like Odium and Asami and a couple others, but they don’t really seem to be the ‘rally the crew’ type. She f*!&s with you, I think Asami and others will step in. Now, the real question is, are you a pirate? I… I don’t know. But I’m interested to see where these people are going with their lives. They could do some pretty awesome things with our help. Assuming Draxxie has re-rallied the crew. Estelle forces herself to walk over to her, ”I ain’t got no where to go. I’ll be on your crew just fine. I was the appre… I can handle the carpentry duties fine. But I gotta get an inspection done before we move, I don’t trust Plugg not leaving this ship unsafe just to abandon us.” Then quickly adds, ”With your permission, Captain.”

Estelle diminutively darts across the deck while mumbling, "Excuse me. Coming through. Don't mind me. Just getting over here. Thanks!" She stops at the other railing and leans down to tap an unconscious body on the foot. Vines again sprout, binding wounds. Estelle swings across to the next set of rigging and then just releases her hold. The drop seems to look… unnatural, somehow. Like a glitch in the fabric of reality grabs her and lowers her quickly to the deck. She leans over and grasps Crimson Cogsward’s shoulder. Vines wrap around his body and leafy protrusions grow upon his wounds, putting pressure where pressure is needed and using sugary sap to sterilize anything that shouldn’t be growing. If there is rigging almost everywhere as one might expect. Estelle sees a very clogged battlefield, but no one currently occupying the vertical dimension. If the rigging isn't there or the climb doesn't make feasible sense: She strides up behind the front line and taps the most injured looking ally on the shoulder, "There, if you feel you still have something left to prove in this life, my patron will keep you alive for a bit longer."

Estelle first looks to the wounded 'allies'. I guess they aren't really allies, but they are definitely not enemies. And anyone who stands between me and someone trying to kill me is worth helping. I think I'll heal... Nevermind. Apparently it was a really good idea to save Sandara. That's a useful ability she has. The witch then considers her options, frowning and fiddling with the weapon on her belt. USE IT! STAB THEM! KILL THEM ALL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!! Just kidding. Messin' with ya. Anyway, maybe some magic? You slept really well, remember? Nodding to herself she begins a soft chant, weaving her hands together her eyes begin to brighten into their normal glow. The witch’s body twitches as they row back to the ship. She dreads what they will find, almost hoping that as they get closer it will just sail off. But this plan makes zero sense. The boat is on the other damn side of the island. And, in fact, we literally have to walk past the water source and bug swarm before we get to it. Unless we want to risk wandering around more unexplored parts of the island, of course. Then tomorrow morning, when Plugg has promised to leave, you expect to row back ashore, walk halfway across the island again, get the water and then drag it to the boat and then get on the ship? The logistics are baffling me, sorry.” She takes a breath as her speech was getting a bit riled up, ”We gotta sleep, it’s gotta be here or on the way to the water. Nothing else makes sense. Estelle looks at Asami, then Draxxie. Fish? That’s an odd nickname for the a&&*@. Wonder what she did to get that. Ya know what, actually I don’t think I wonder. Better left for not knowing sometimes. Estelle shrugs, ”You woulda seen it more than us. We were back here fighting the other half of them. Nice job handling your set though. I assume it was impressive to watch based on the chum left behind.” She conjures up a light and wraps it around herself like a nice cloak, ”But let’s not waste time, my magic and any surprise we might have is running out.”

Estelle blasts herself and Odium with some witchery healing and frowns, ”Sorry, Cry says you used yours up from my patron today. So unless we sleep… nothing else from me.” CLW Hex on self: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Estelle pulls Odium up from the ground (standard) and then moves over to see what Asami is doing, "I expect the last enemy over there will soon be dead, but we might want to matriculate over just in case more of these grindylows show up."

Estelle offers a hand down to Odium to help him up (flavor, unless she can negate his action to stand by burning an action herself), ”There is an injured one hiding in the deep water here, do we want to waste our time on them?” If specifically asked exactly where, she will point to the square.

Estelle simply steps up and waves her dagger in a familiarly threatening way at the next foe. You know... you doing that is leading to it's death, just like the last two. So, that means you are functionally killing them. That make you feel good? ... Listen here voice, there are some fine lines that I haven't yet crossed and I'm damn happy to keep those tiny little lines in place. So shut the f~#+ up. The witch moves around Draxxie and glances down at Odium, "Well, you aren't very good at staying up either. Maybe the a**$+*$ will mock you instead of me after this fight." She waves her little dagger distractingly at the foe. MW Spring Blade Aid Odium to Attack #5 DC 10: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 +2 on Odium's next attack vs. #5.

Estelle frowns at the injuries her compatriot is taking, "I should help you defend yourself but... if there is no enemy then there is no threat. Plus, I'd prefer to help you than hinder an enemy. That's sorta what I try to do, help people be their best uh... people." She looks down at the little knife in her hand, "Oh yeah, I should do something." The witch looks at the grindylow in front of her, "Hey you! Look at the shiny dagger! It's gonna get you... or something!" MW Spring Blade Aid Odium to Attack #2 DC 10: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21 Awwww nerts that coulda been a lot better, ah well +2 on your next attack go get em!
