Well, I would be willing to keep Esaul alive, and a homebrew would be much more interesting than a published module, in my opinion. If you guys want to keep it going I'm up for it, but the slower pace has been slowly draining my interest, since I like faster games.

It was a good module, but fighting the whole army with a more versatile array of options would be much better.

Yeah, thanks for the experience, guys! I'll keep Esaul alive, in some way.

For some reason I thought the end was too harsh... I mean, not that the town got destroyed, as it certainly would, but they destroyed it, then all that was left was the leader, and the army vanishes... Of course, killing the leader breaks the order and sends everyone on a run, but I mean that if they actually destroyed the city in small groups we would have more to do and the wish to get our revenge! MUA HA HA HA!

As the worst comes to worst, Esaul realizes they are still alive, and not that much hurt, so he stands up with his wet bow, and sees Rahaal's body floating beside him! Maybe it wasn't too late to save her, so he tries it, healing the woman for 10 hit points (plus healing the non-lethal).

Seeing the huge wave of water coming in their direction, Esaul unconsciously assumes the spirit of the Frog, improving his and Light's jumping and swimming abilities, but the wolf was never a good swimmer, and a wave such as that was certainly deadly to it. So the hunter decided to ignore the big bad guy, for now. If the water didn't take care of him, he could send some arrows to kill the beast later, but now he had a wolf to care for.

"Light, come!" Ignoring the dragon-like creature completely he ran toward the closest building where he could toss the wolf, then climb, but he knew that was not an easy task, anyway.

I don't know which is easier to do, if throwing up the wolf or if helping it to climb somewhere, but I think the first one would be easier and more likely. So...
STR check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21 I probably could have damaged him good with that roll, hun?

After the wolf is save (and maybe next round) Esaul attempts to climb himself, with the help from a monkey spirit.

Well, the player do understands what happened, but Esaul thinks it was the drow who tried to talk to him. He did not understand what was said, and did not see who talked, so in his mind it was the drow that tried to talk to them, and it was wide-eyed to find humans so deep inside their territory. I suppose we did not find any other hidden paths on the way here, right?

I've updated Esaul according to the ACG, and the changes are as follow:

  • 6 extra skill points (2 each level): (1) K.Dungeo; (2) K.Nature; (1) Sense Motive; (1) Spellcraft; (1) Acrobatics;
  • Change from Prepared Spells to Spells Known. List:
    1st (4/day) — Summon Nature's Ally; Cure Light Wounds; Gravity Bow; Entangle; Deadeye's Lore. (2 spent today)
    Orisons — Create Water, Detect magic, Know direction, Light, Purify Food and Drink, Stabilize,
  • Precise Shot at 2nd level, so I have one extra feat: Weapon Focus (Longbow) for the lack of anything better...
