Gianthalfling- Eren has a built on mechanic in his back story that this (going after the whispering way and stopping the whispering tyrants return) is his purpose. How he met the others would be 'they were brought together' Though I am all for looking over others characters and critiquing builds lol or friendly banter.
I was referring to that Eren was already done. so now just waiting...
only a week or so to wait ;) Now comes all the speculation :D
no worries. and hes done now. not a good ac...hes of the mind the best defense is a good offense. and offense he has in spades ;)
Erens done. I just have to clean the sheet up after getting the gear. and pick spells ;)

This is Dread and this is the beginning of my character idea for this campaign. With 6 characters, I think I could fit a Bard in easily... so Here is..Longtime friend of Professor Lorimar (sp?). They studied together in bygone days. More recently He had been conducting research for The Professor in Kyonin's Libraries. With his friends death he has come to help lay him to rest, and see if their was any foul play.... Ive statted him and hes begun to come together in my head...more later.
Patricio, I was not directing any comments against you directly, I totally understand being new. I bear you no ill feelings for your style. If you felt that way, please accept my apologies. PBP is a challenge even for very expereinced DM's. I think though that I should bow out of the game, as I am unable to post more than once a day and occasionally if Im busy at work, maybe even skipping a day; and it seems to me that you are hoping for a group that can. I am sorry once more if you took my words as being 'against' you, when all they were meant to do is explain why I was at a loss for what to say... Good luck to you. this is the case with me...so far I havent seen anything that caught my interest. Ive been looking at the thread and at first trying to come up with something to do and or say...but its become an effort. gaming shouldnt be an effort. Nothing against you Patricio, if this is your style. But Im having a hard time with it.
Eren pauses outside the Cobblers shop and keeps and eye on the crowd. Whoever had done this to the man, might not want him to get his memory back, so it might be prudent to keep an eye out...He eyes the crowd as his comrades talked to the shop keeper.
Eren had watched the events of the day before at the Temple with interest, feeling out of his element Forest Mistress why did you guide me here? Is it to help this man recover his memory? will he be intsrumental in some plan of yours? Guide my will. and had followed the group back to then Inn. A good rest and an early rise he had spent the morning working out and practicing with his weapons. No after breakfast he stood in the common room and waited as Aravilar, who was proving to be the leader of this band, talked about the plans for the day...Eren knew nothing of this city, so he figured hed just follow along until something came up he did know about.... "So we go to This Torch district and then look up this Cobbler and then what.....Im eager to get going. This city grates on my senses. I long for the openness of nature."
Stepping forward to aid the injured man should he attempt to rise, The Half Elf states "And I am Erenar Denollan, late of Tangled Trees of Cormanthar. Humble servant of the Forest Maid. Rest assured we mean you no ill. Do you know what caused you to be in this state?"
Eren looks down on the body...and squints his eyes, looking around...trying to feel for any residual evil in the area. he knows from his training if it was a forceful evil that he might have a slim chance of detecting it...but he knew it was reaching....
After looking around, at the Sgt, the area and people standing around in the area. he turned to the Sgt and said using his best diplomacy, "I know you said there was nothing else to tell, but something guided you to our Inn. Certainly sir there must have been something that made you think that we would be involved?
Eren had watched the dialogue between The group and the Sergeant. he had long ago learned to let others who were smarter than him do the talking, as he frequently found himself into conversations he had trouble following. He had held his tongue when the lock picks had been discovered. Not wanting to lie. He had busied himself with his armor instead. Being Good and Lawful didnt mean being good and foolish. Yet he was sure there was more here than meets the eye...He hurried to dress and when he was done He walked up the Sergeant and said "I am ready, However you have not responded to our requests for information in the least. I will not cross through that portal until you tell us what is awaiting us and why you assumed it was us to begin with...Good Sergeant, if it is our aide you wish, you will be forthright with the information, then I will do all I can as Im sure my comrades will as well."
The Paladin had gotten up rather groggily from his abrupt awakening...and had held his tongue as they had gone through his kit, He knew he was innocent, and trusted his new found comrades were too. When the suggestion that they accompany the guard to the site of the crime his first reaction was indignancy. He listened to his ally speak and sound off against the treatment they were receiving...and then he found his tongue. "Friends, maybe it would be wise of us to accompany them. If we have been marked as a possible suspect, as our treatment seems, then we should gather all clues as to who and why so we may defend ourselves against this unknown enemy...." He glanced left and right at his allies. ..."but I do agree with Aravilar that you should tell us what you know before we just put ourselves at your beck and call without reason..." |
