"Thank you and best o' luck to you my lady. Guards she left 2 hours ago...Open the Gates!"
With that you ride out of the city as the sun begins to set behind the mountains.
What do you do and when do you make camp?

Visibly taken by your story.
"Well now miss I do be sorry 'bout your family, but by ruling of the Duke we bar the gates at sundown, but a few silver pieces could make us remember you came through here about an hour before we are to bar the gates. If you catch my meaning miss."

Both H'Vok and William's arrows strike true and since they both came from different directions they guards have no idea where they came from, but none the less they sound an alarm to put the entire camp on alert.
Naen:
You are able to see that both arrows strike true in shoulders of respective guards. You all hear a horn as they sound the alarm.
Everyone please roll initiative and let me know what square you are in and where you will be going to.
Kressle's Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Bandit Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

With 3 votes...you pass on Tendor's offer and make ready to depart the city. It is nearly dusk and the streets are eerily quiet as you leave. There seems to be nothing moving and nobody around, which is rather odd for a city the size of Kalu. The streets are wide and paved in cobblestone. You notice the workmanship of the houses is a fine mix of stone and sturdy wooden beam with clay tiled roofs. You pass a few guards just as you get to the outer gate.
"Halt!" They command as they step in front of you and cross their pikes across your path.
"State your name and your business and your reason for leaving at this hour. You see we usually bar the gates...but if you give us a good reason we could see them cracked open while we make our rounds."
The guard says with a smile holding out his hand and rubbing his fingers together.

I think I will have to withdraw my application.

Don't mean to hum and ha about a character, but I really like the idea of a dexterous scout / scoundrel who uses heavy rifles and a bowcaster. He could provide the tech skills, but that means we would still be down a medic. With all that being said I am going to take my second concept and head toward being a bounty hunter used to track down the sith.

I'm flawed.

haha oh no worries friend, I'm just having a hard time pinning down a concept, i will likely have one up in the next 6 or 7 hours though

Haha me too. I love so much about the Star Wars Universe that pinning down a single character has been challenging.

My other concept I really like besides my afore mentioned jedi is a non wookie, character heading toward bounty hunter who uses a bowcaster and a heavy repeating carbonite rifle.

Muugru shift nervously:
"Me no know boss...this city bad mojo."
Whatever you decide to do for the night you will all be benefited greatly by the Dragon. As he will help you all in your dreams tonight.

So a bit more on the background for Logarth:
Being the son of a Senator Logarth can have a tendancy to being a spoiled brat combine that with propencity to be a hot head and he was a problem child. After becoming a padawan Logarth was constantly battling his emotions and even to this day he has to guard himself lest he fall back into those emotional traps. During his training the Jedi Masters noticed Logarth's affinity in the healing arts and did much to nurture that. However Logarth sought to improve himself with his lightsaber thinking that if he could somehow master that tool the other tools would fall into place.

Being a ways off H'vok's bumble of stepping on a twig is not noticed among all the noises of the forest. However William's arrow flies wide of the first century post, and now the centuries are on their guard.

Luck seems to be on your side as the authorities have not discovered the bodies.
Tendor approaches you and says, "Many thanks for the hand back there young masters. Seems the dragon smiles on you yet. Please accept my offer for accommodations for the night."

Ok here is a rough sketch of my character.
Logarth Draschill
Noble 1 / Jedi 4
Race Human
Bonus Feat: Force Sensitivity
Multiclass feat: Lightsaber proficiency
Skills: Gather Information, Knowledge Life Sciences, Perception, Persuasion, Pilot, Treat Injury, Use the Force
Other Feats: Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus, Force Training, Experienced Medic
Noble Talent: Wealth
Force Talents:
Deflect, Vital Transfer, Battle Mediation, Negate Energy, Mind Trick.
I took wealth as my noble talent so that I could make my own lightsaber. I want it to have a purple crystal a la Mace Windu.
Anyway if you could look this over and give me some advice on it I will finish fleshing Logarth out and get him in the game.

Excellent idea by using the bonus feat from being human to take force sensitivity.

As far as you are able to tell Dim is being truthful and is there to help.

I am having a bit of trouble actually making the character mechanically speaking. If someone could help that would be great.
Background:
Logarth Drashill was always a quick to temper hot head. He grew up as the son of a Senator. While visiting his home of Dantooine a Jedi Master found him to be an exceptional young man while hightened midicholrian levels. Being so young the Jedi Master asked if he could take Logarth to the Jedi Enclave and teach him the ways of the Force. During his training Logarth learned to control his anger and became exceptional at treating injuries and became a very persuasive young man, while still showing exceptional skills with the lightsaber.

So mechanically speaking I thought about being 4 Jedi / 1 Noble
Looking in skills to be Treat Injury, Use Force, and Persuasion
Then Force Pilot, Deflect with Lightsaber
Taking a feat in one of the Combat Medic feats

Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

Cool thanks for the feedback guys. I will throw something together now. Just making sure my math is good. You are using a 28 point buy yes?

Yes no initiatives I just need a few stealth checks and a knowledge of who is going with whom.

Muugru says: "What you mean onto us boss?" He lifts up his arms and legs looking for people on him. Then he scratches himself and shakes his head.

I would actually like to play a medic type character and the only class I am seeing in the books sited are the Jedi with Vital Transfer and the Prestige into Jedi Knight Battlemaster. Am I missing something or are those the only options? Or I guess go Noble and buy a meddadriod?

I think I will make a Jedi Consular to fill that medic vacancy I think.

I am really wanting to play so I will flesh out a character tonight.

Dim go ahead and join the board.

Ema you are able to tell through your bird that there are a total of 3 centuries in the towers.
Red Square=A gate

You leave the leader alive in the street with the others and head back into the Haunted Horse. Where you meet a curious man who seems to be seeking you out.

Dice roll 1:
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 1) + 6 = 11
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 6) + 6 = 14
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 3) + 6 = 15
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 2) + 6 = 13
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 2) + 6 = 9
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 4) + 6 = 14

Dice roll 2:
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 6) + 6 = 17
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 3) + 6 = 14
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 6) + 6 = 13
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 2) + 6 = 13
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 6) + 6 = 14
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 2) + 6 = 9
I really like roll 2. Now for a concept. Think, think, think....
I am going to go with a gnome sorcerer draconic bloodline who worships Apsu. Quick question about the stats is that before our racial adjustments or after? Thanks!

I would love to throw out a concept of a Barbarian...think Ghengis Khan.
I will roll for his stats here for you to review then I will flesh him out for you to review his gear before posting to your query.
After reading the other submissions there are already a few barbarian types. So I guess let me make my rolls then I will come up with a character concept.

However I am kicking around another idea...dual repeating crossbow wielding fighter. Think Max Payne.
I would still like him to be an orphan and be saved by Shalelu. I think this could perhaps fit his backstory better. So if I could I would change Xin from a ninja to a fighter.

Cool so far, but self-taught ninja might be a bit of a stretch. If Xin is of Tian descent, maybe a local Tian elder (exile or traveler like Ameiko and her family) takes him in and apprentices him in ninjitsu (a Mr Miagi type thing)?

Yes he is from Tian. I had thought that perhaps his grandpa (whom he does not know) would teach and mentor him.

I appreciate your concern, but this will give me something to do while I take my turn on suicide watch so that I don't fall asleep. However I think I will proceed much slower. I really enjoy this adventure and don't want to loose an entire group if you know what I mean.

I would love to play this! I really want to play a ninja and think he would fit into this very well.

Concept:
Xin as he is simply known was a small orhpan boy who one day while scrounging the fields around Sandpoint for food stumbled upon a a raiding party of goblins. Once spotted by the goblins he took an arrow to the back as he tried to run back to safety. Thinking himself dead he gave up on life when all of the sudden Shalelu came darting out of the trees and with grace dove over an enbankment and pulled Xin to safety before taking her bow and unleashing a storm of arrows killing them all. Shalelu took Xin back to town where he was tended to. Xin vowed to repay the favor and began to train himself in the secret art of ninjitsu.

As you reach the outskirts of the bandit camp you notice two century posts at the side closest to you. The camp is encased in forest.
You also see there is a gate to the one side.
Green = Forest
Dark Brown = Century Posts
Red = Gate
Orange = Fire
K= Kressle the Bandit leader.
Bandit Camp .

She is okay and I am taking time off work to be on suicide watch while her new meds kick in.
I will post the map of the bandit camp shortly for you.

You are able to get the bodies out and ale is poured on them which should buy you some time.
You all make it back inside the tavern where you find an unexpected visitor.
Dim welcome. I rather liked Muugru's character so I will continue to play him out.
Muugru talks:
"Boss what we do with their leader?

Wow sorry guys it has been a crazy week. My wife tried to commit suicide. I am sorry to hear that Muugru left. It seems I can't keep characters interested in this campaign.../sigh

Sorry guys this has been a crazy week. My wife tried to commit suicide this week. So I am trying to catch up. There is no random encounter tonight. I will post a map of the bandit camp for the encounter in a little bit.

Yes, the night has passed and it is now the next morning.

Lol I know this is being finacky but my barbarian concept was just picked up in another game so I would still like my paladin to be considered.

So a question for you...for all of the races are you using the DL attributes or the Pathfinder ones?
I am throwing together a druid concept and just need to know so I can choose my race. Thanks!

I would love to play in a DL campaign I have an idea for a barbarian that I have been dying to try and think he would fit in very well. I will flesh him out and post him for your consideration. He would kind of fill the role of Riverwind.

When they all settle in for the night is when you will arrive so if you follow the postings that will clue you in as to when to jump in.

Yea Dim is in. They are finishing deciding what to do with some corpses. I will have you arrive at the Haunted Horse in the night. The Dragon needs someone with your talents so he called out to you and in a vision showed you the adventuring party and the Haunted Horse in Kalu. You will show up just as chaos errupts.

I think that it would recharge by you casting cure light wounds on the wand, so should you have a extra spell you can convert at the end of the day you could use it to recharge your wand.
I have made my decision, Dim welcome to the party. You character sounds very fun indeed.
So I will post you a link to the Campaign.
Campaign.

If possible I would like to change my character submission to a barbarian. I will throw up the character sheet and backstory asap.

Ok I need Str checks and a few stealth rolls please.

I actually like Dim, but what the party needs is a healer. However they all got a masterwork item recently so maybe I could give you a wand of cure light wounds which you can recharge and that has 20 charges in it. I would really like to get a healer in asap, because they are going to need one shortly.

I have always wanted to play a barbarian and never seem to be able to get him into a campaign. He would be an intelligent barbarian and rather well spoken. He is a half-orc, but he looks human until he rages then his tusks emerge and you can see his orcish features. I post frequently so that should not be an issue.

I apologize I miss understood what went on. So you all manage to get Carmichael back to Ema's camp and give him a proper burial.

I would like to see how you build an oracle as I very much like that class. As for the paladin we have a half-orc inquisitor that thinks himself a paladin (he is a bit delsional) so I don't think a real paladin would work very well.

I said that I think a lizardfolk cleric would work very well in the campaign. I am just waiting on seeing a character sheet.

So in an effort to move the plot along a bit, is the plan to sneak the bodies out and drop them in an alley while the innkeep goes and fetches some ale to pour all over them?
