There is an awkward pause, and then Erasmus seems to change demeanor suddenly.

"Hmmm... perhaps tomorrow I should give my commander friend a rest. He seems to be rather... forceful at the moment. But he is impressed with your knowledge Merisiel and approves of th- THIS IS A SOLDIER WHO SHOWS SOME INITIATIVE! Good work! Quartermaster, double her grog ration to- Ack! Sorry... sorry... Tomorrow I shall endeavor to seance with less forceful spirits."

He'll do his best to gather information about potential new sources, trying to limit his discussions with his teammates for an hour or so lest he be overwhelmed with the urge to bark out orders.

If he has no idea the direction of the scent, he'll start by checking the stone circle for traps, then moving in, then checking the slab for traps as well. If it doesn't appear to be emanating from within the circle, he'll continue to the south side of the circle into the forested area, also checking for traps like a paranoid adventurer. He holds his pack over one shoulder with one hand, ready to drop it in the event of a fight, and holds his starknife in his other hand. "There are people coming, so we had best depart quickly. Make a quick check for anything else of use, Kyra and I can escort Ms. Sarvio to the front gate to answer to whomever is approaching. If they come with hostile intentions, we'll give a yell."

As Kyra gathers resources to test out theory, Erasmus speaks to Rhiannon. "Ms. Sarvio, if you have the capability to make an object invisible or create a mirror, summer help would be great. Perhaps Merisil can study the lock and trap mechanism and see if it can be defeated with a simpler method?"
