Enisald smiled, half in appreciation, and half in spite. "I can appreciate your sentiments, but I'll need you to turn the other way if you are going to." Enisald took in the scene, wondering how the woman put on this act of weakness so easily, perhaps it wasn't an act. . .He turned to look at Skalrok, who was watching the festivities with the look of a cat watching a caged canary. It was a curious thing, if Allosaurs were extinct in this place, why had no one commented on Skalrok?
He turned back to Gideon and offered, "How do you suggest we do this? Start immediately, or wait for the bird man to gain some results?"

Enisald smiled, "That is perfect. I have long believed that if you make a man fight for his life, and then welcome him into the fold afterward, he will be a loyal servant from then on, if you do it right, anyway. I wonder if you could help me with acquiring servants."
If this man had little ambition but combat, then Enisald would use him as a tool, so they could both get what they wanted.

Noticing that Gideon was doing a poor job of fitting in, and noticing that he himself was doing an even poorer job, Enisald decided that he would keep them both occupied, and thus dodge questions. He approached Gideon and standing in such a way that the newcomer wouldn't be able to discern what they were saying, and offered in a whisper, "It is my intention to rebuild my army, and I have an idea as to how, but I fear that it would be slow going on my own. If you are willing to ask, then I have to ask, how are you at winning hearts?"

Enisald watched the man with a mixture of suspicion and derision playing across his face. He didn't mean to, but this addict was quite obviously inferior, and he couldn't help but display it in his stance.
He watched as the man handled the drugm trying to think of anything he could come up with about it. He wondered to himself what sort of effects it had, how long it lasted, and so on.

Enisald stood and watched the woman, wondering how she would handle herself. He made no attempt to hide, that was a cowards way out. In fact, he cast a disgusted look toward Gideon, was that how a true warrior acted where he came from? He did wonder how this man would react to seeing a dinosaur that was supposedly extinct on this world, perhaps he would assume it was a hallucination, their patron did mention that these people frequently poisoned themselves.

Enisald looked around and took a deep breath, it was good to be back in the real world again. The trees might smell odd, and this might not be even close to his home, but this was certainly were he belonged.
While they had waited for their equipment, Skalrok had surprised Enisald. He'd tried to teach the dinosaur several commands that would improve it's effectiveness in battle, but the animal had responded immediately every time. Enisald was glad for that too, because it gave him time to become acquainted with the beast and with his new body's capabilities.
He scanned the horizon, and then said, "I believe I will base myself here, perhaps as a go between for Arcata and whatever town you decide to set up in." The comment about the town was obviously directed at Akiz.

Should I roll to see if Enisald's companion has been successfully reared and combat trained, which would take six weeks from what I saw, or was there enough time to assume it happened?

"I will stay as well. In fact, I think we should all stay together and prepare. That way, when we strike, it will be one massive blow that offers no chance for preparation." Enisald was watching his new companion as he spoke, and never took his eyes off of it.

"That seems to be a very long way to go out of our way, just to reach a road. Besides, she said this world was a large, fresh apple, ripe for the plucking, what could harm us out there? Anyway, I have little doubt that I can get us over the mountains with little trouble, assuming you can all keep up, that is."

Enisald watched the egg as it moved of the floor. The egg was of surprising size, large enough that Enisald could likely fit inside it himself. As the egg began to turn, a small hole appeared in it. Before long the creature inside broke through. It was an Allosaurus, just like he'd requested. Oddly enough, the newborn dinosaur was the same size as anyone in the room. A smile of genuine delight crossed Enisalds face as he leaned in close, and then dodged as it tried to bite him. "The things we will do together," He said, chuckling as he allowed the creature to acquire his scent, and then rubbed his head affectionately. "I will call you Skalrok, after my predecessor."
Turning back to his patron, he added, "I have fairly simple requests." He went on to describe his requirements: a ring of protection +1, an amulet of mighty fists +1, a belt of giant strength +2, and a headband of inspired wisdom +2.

Enisald would happily give orders, if no one else wants to. The only thing is that he is a druid turned monk, and wouldn't necessarily want to stay in the city too much, but he'd be fine on the outskirts.
"I'm not sure I wish to pretend to be someone else, though perhaps a religious experience would be an acceptable explanation."
Enisald turned his attention to their mysterious patron, "What of the local wildlife? In my time, I had an Allosaurus as a companion, it served me well enough that I'd like another. There is another thing I've wondered about. If this world has known peace for so long, if they are all of one mind, then why do they still train warriors?"

I have a question, something Aki mentioned made me start thinking about this. If you were one of Golarions gods, which one would it be? Take your pick from the list.
I think Enisald would be a combination of Gozreh, with a little bit of Rovagug's destructive aspects.

" Then they sound ripe for conquest. You are correct in saying that poison and starvation are not enough, they are just the catalyst." Enisald's eyes took on a faraway look, and his lips curled into a small smile, apparently the memory was a pleasant one. "I came to a city once, walls as thick as you can imagine. They said it would never fall. I had my army camp outside long enough for starvation to set in, I think we destroyed their food supply first, no sense in drawing it out. After they were all good and hungry, I offered an invitation: anyone that slew their neighbor and made it through the gates would eat well for as long as they were worthy of being called Rhondskald. We didn't even have to attack that city, it tore itself apart so completely."

Enisald snarled at Akiz, "I was asking about the previous occupant of this body, little bird," He snapped. He calmed immediately, and then continued, "No, I have no expectation that any of my people are still alive, or that this was ever my world." He was apparently content to ignore the question about who would follow him. Enisald knew that his followers would be those strong enough to embrace their true, feral nature once confronted with it. If the scavenger didn't understand that, Enisald didn't feel overly inclined to educate him.
His ears perked up when he heard the Tengu ask about food production. A malicious smile crossed his face as he said, "You wish to poison the weak, then? I could be of assistence in that endeavor. Though I wonder, what would you do with those strong enough to survive the infection?"
Despite Akiz's internal monologue about Enisald being a problem, I actually think the two of them would be the best team. They are both Neutral Evil, both apparently want to, more or less, commit genocide against everybody. Also, it's especially ironic that Akiz thinks Enisald is shortsighted, considering that Enisald's plan is to basically raise an army and conquer.

Enisald watched the woman incredulously. People such as this were considered to be his equal? He dismissively replied, "Spending too much time in one place breeds stagnation and weakness. I can't support such an idea for any longer than required. Still, there is value from gathering resources in one place and then moving on."
Enisald turned his attention toward their odd benefactor. "Tell me, does this body I inhereted have servants, or followers. The first among many that can form a new Rhondskald?"

"Indeed, I have no interest in restoring a balance. You knew what you had when you sought me out. When I lived before, my tribe shook the foundations of 'civilized' society. We forced them to grow strong or be crushed under our boots, and I intend to do nothing less than that here."
Before continuing, he paused and looked himself over, then said, "But why am I an ape? Creatures such as this were valued companions, and smart enough to be taught to fight, but they certainly could not speak."

Enisald awoke quietly and looked around the room. So there were others, eh? Oh well, no matter. The first thing he noticed after waking up was that he felt odd, as though he was covered in hair. After hearing the others talking of tails, he couldn't help notice that he had one as well. For several moments, he watched it swish back and forth, in awe of how easily he could control it.
As the others began to grow anxious, Enisald decided to do his part to calm them. He announced loudly, "I am Enisald the Purifier, the greatest leader of the Rhondskald, unless someone better followed me, which I doubt. I was much less furry then, a half elf. Who are all of you?"
Yeah, shouldn't we be the Unholy Vessels?
By the way, thanks Stiehl9s, for finding me an avatar that looks both simian and villanous!
male Vanara Druid (Saurian Shaman)/Monk (Treetop Monk) lvl 5
I went ahead amd made the alias, so now we are on the same page. Anyway, I want to mention that this avatar was the only one I could find that looked remotely like a Vanara.
So I've recently been reading the Prince of Wolves and I really want to run an Ustalavian/Gothic Horror Campaign. So I've started stating out some characters and building encounters and realized I'm not ready to build something of this scale...
So that led me to wonder if there is an existing AP that I could simply convert or just run.
The old Ravenloft setting would work well or one of the APs published in the Dungeon magazines but I have no idea where to start looking.
Any chance anyone knows of the name of a good AP to base an Ustalavian/Gothic horror Campaign off of? I don't care what rule set it's in I just need a framework to work off of.
