Emrys, Round 2, Initiative 5
Rather looked with dismay at the young wizard's wound, and Emrys' own face was filled with chagrin.

Mistress was right he muttered as he edged cforward, preparing to fire his staff through the air at one of their foes.

1 five foot move (diagonally up one and to the left) then hand of the apprentice
Hand of the Apprentice (the bandit beside Balder taking off 4) 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (12) + 5 - 4 = 13 Damage 1d6 ⇒ 5

If my target is dead by my turn:
Then I will move further to be within 30 of one of the foes, if that does not equal more than on single move action and I will target that foe instead. If I cannot get within 30 with one move, then I will just stay hidden behind Dakar.

Emrys, Round 1, Initiative 5

The battle joined, Emrys realized there was little he could do but aid his allies. He still wasn't sure how the fight started, but it likely had something to do with the fact that they had cut the tails of some rodents. Emrys took a few steps out from behind Chern and looked down the road at the humanoids who had offended his allies so much. Choosing the easiest target to see from where he now stood Emrys sent the stinging beads of light he had used so many times before.

No sooner had the spell slipped from his lips, and the effect flew from his fingers that Emrys realized he had made a mistake that would have angered his Mistress greatly, he had neglected his defences. Emmys hoped she had no way to see what he had done wrong from where she was, and decided that he would forget to tell her about his indiscretion.

A simple 5 foot move (i step down on the map, which gives a pretty clear line to a random bandit way down at the lower left corner of the map. Cast Magic Missile with that bandit as the target.

I think my action should occur while he was still drinking the potion, before saying this....I assume so anyway, fine if this is not true

Emrys looked around, he wasn't able to follow what was transpiring. But from what he could gather it was ok for the rude men to take the sack and leave. Emmys shrugged and shouldered his pack and began to continue down the path.

is the wand the kobold threw covered in the above lot? If not, Emrys will carefully and slowly approach it, detecting magic, and wary for surprises

Emrys is happy for the rest, and indifferent to the tension between other characters. Besides moving to the edge of the party and sitting facing away from the animals as they were skinned he is u phased by everything else.

Enjoying any opportunity to examine magic items, he is always keen to detect magic and attempt to identify objects, but he is also very keen to dig deeper, and at the moment he is intrigued by he Magic of the axe.

Emrys walked out of the doorway and back into the courtyard, shouldering his new backpack carefully. He looked at the conversation passing amongst his allies and shrugged as he moved back and forth, looking sadly at the bodies of the dead canines.

Less a search and more of a way to wait for the decision on whether or not I get any more rest before continuing.

Try as he might, Emrys could not seem to land a blow on the great beast with his staff, and so instead he clutched it tight in one hand as he furrowed his brow. His free hand clenched for a moment and then opened to reveal a small wasplike mote of light resting on his palm. His hand flicked out, palm still outstretched, to send the light in an erratic, yet unerring collision course with the snout of the worg.

If the Worg is dead or gone by my action:
I'll save the spell for later and instead use a hand of the apprentice against any wolf left standing. If there are no wolves, well, I guess there are no problems.

oh dear, that is a big bad dog. No, we don't like that at all. Emrys scowled and focused on the beast, lining his staff up as an archer lines up an arrow, he real eased the staff to hurtle to the things skull.

Emrys frowned as he watched the mean dogs pour snarling across the courtyard. He hated to hurt any animal, but knew that when animals went mean, they rarely became nice again. A young wizard has to do what he has to do.

question:
when the dagger was thrown my Mage armour was still up, but I'm not sure how long it has been since then. Am I protected? Either way, I have no more Mage armours,

His allies were scoring quick hits against the beasts, and without rest Emrys was feeling cranky, and lacked magical options. He chose to keep what he had in reserve for now and simply hoisted his quarterstaff like a club.

He's dead. He can't answer questions. Unless you cast a spell, but I can't cast that spell.

Emmys looked at the surprisingly intact backpack. Thoughts of danger slipped from his thoughts as he pondered the good shape the pack was clearly in. He reached out and prodded the pack.

Emrys will poke, then grab, then open the pack. His examinations get more detailed the longer he has to examine it, but any second attack or comment directed at him will break his distraction and cause him to hunker back down and prepare for an attack.

Alarmed by the risk the search posed to his companion, Emrys scooped Arthur up from the doorway and concealed him once more in his scarf. With nothing to note, Emrys shrugged and wandered over to the stone circle. Intellectually curious, not wise enough to be any more cautious.

Emrys looked about and gingerly stepped around the bodies of the dwarves, careful not to touch any. He approached the half-Orc as he loaded up the mule with the dwarves arms and armour and held out a hand to him.

These should go on the mule too. Arthur found them, and mother always taught me to share.

Emrys held out several coins, three crackers and a small ruby, the spoils of Arthur's sneakiness the day before, and some crackers.

now, can we go in? I'd like to get the medicine. Mother is sick.

Emrys, The Real Round Five, Initiative 18

Seeing how little his impacts were affecting the boar, Emrys moved away nervously, catching the returning quarterstaff in his outstretched hand. He would have to rely on the skills of his allies to put down the creature.

Arthur poked his head up from the young wizard's scarf and cast his head about nervously, wary for other threats drawn to the noise.

I'd like a perception check (+2) against any new threats coming. Ready an attack to use against any thing that attempts to get the drop on the party. Attack roll 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 damage 1d6 ⇒ 1

Emrys, singleminded in his concern over the dietary habits of a zombie boar, continued to lash out at the beast, only when the wretched thing fell would he allow his attention to waver, and seek out the next nearest foe to himself.

All through the battle Emrys continued to move, skirting the perimeter of the battle, attempting to avoid the clutches of the undead, or even accidental contact with his allies. if approached by a zombie a five foot move before casting, otherwise a move action to keep clear, but within range of his target. Taking off 4 for ranged attacks.

His armour shielding him from the threat of undead contamination, Emrys raised his staff, and let if fly out towards the nearest unharmed foe.

The arrival of the Undead Champion did not faze the young wizard. But it's mount did.

A living pig could consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. A zombie pig would be worse. Unnatural hunger added to natural hunger. Very bad piggie. Emrys muttered as he gathered spell components from his pocket.

Round 3:
Emrys stretched out his hand a let fly wasplike motes of energy to sting the wretched zombie pig where it stood. Greedy as a pig.

so basically, Arthur is going to try check it out, all stealthy-ish, grab anything cool and boot it. If he gets seen it's just funnier, but mainly this is happening when oderic is suffering.

Arthur is the one who would understand and care about any "pocketing" that oderic might be doing. But he's nonconfrontational, but he wouldn't be above looking in the belly of the beast (so to speak) while oderic is distracted.

Emrys round one, initiative 8
Emrys will skirt around the perimeter of the battle, so that he. An attack from the side, but thirty feet out. Attacking with hand of the apprentice, which has only now occurred to me must count as a ranged attack, so I'll take 4 off the attack roll so as not to risk hitting anyone.

This potion is good. It protects you from fire. Fire is dangerous so this is very good. Emrys said while holding the red pot aloft. He the lifted the green one in his other hand and said, This is also good, because it makes your skin hard when things want to hurt you.

Emrys crooked his head to the side, it's funny that they are both good. he said red is usually bad. Or stop. Then this green could be go. Like a game for children.

The red/green aspect of these jars concerns Emrys, and he will examine each again, using a detect magic of his own to examine as carefully as possible. Not just the contents, but the jars themselves.

With the first ingredient in hand, Emrys is content after his examination of the jars to begin moving to the next location. This seems a bad place to rest he mutters looking at the collection of fetishes strewn about the hut.

I used the only magic missile earlier today, unless I lost track of a rest. I did have one other offensive spell in reserve, so I shall subtract that from today's uses, but I was saving it as an mergency surprise, in future, a use of hand of the apprentice at best for an assumed attack please, at least until I have more spells per day. Now I am out.

Heeding the Dakkar's request for help, Emrys took note of the nearest foe and once again released his staff, sending it winging through the air towards the nearest threat.

If a move action is required to be within 30 feet of a foe then I will take said move action. If there is anything threatening me now I will make a five foot move first. If there is no visible foe by my action I will move in the direction the cauldron went and attempt to attack it in a like fashion

Emrys ignored the entire exchange, uninterested in the strange figure until it spoke. Upon hearing a new language though Emrys paid closer attention, noting the sounds made by the creature, and committing them to memory as best he could.

Once the exchange was over and once the hunter had pointed out a need for haste, Emrys began to walk once again towards their destination. On his shoulder the weasel waved at the others, petitioning them to follow.

Emrys trailed along behind the Hal-Orc and the tumbler as they walked, sucking on the berries he had been given, slowly rolling the magically delicious berries in his mouth.

Once back in the clearing he looked about the scene of battle before looking once more in the direction they had been travelling, and waited for the rest of the group to be ready to move on.

As the moments dragged on Emrys began to become more more concerned as he thought about his companions.
