Very True! However if one can exploit a foe's weaknesses to assure victory then it makes the process far easier and more worth while Eko calls out in his usual boisterous heroic sounding voice, this seems to be his default tone of speech.

We know what to expect now...Goblins for now anyway. What do we know about the little monsters?

I have not learned magical healing, although i can start trying to in the future Eko says staying alert

Yeah, the hippo definitely starts out entirely focused on defense, but their strength balloons quite a bit once you're a few levels in. I think with the amount of hits Bubbles can soak up she'll be contributing plenty in the early levels.

Oh, also, I think her bite is 1d8, not 2d6.

Normally yes, but Bubbles has Improved Natural Attack, nvm your right i just looked and bab plus 4 required...dammit thats frustrating

con is too low improved natural armor

but the big cat get Str 13, Dex 17, Con 13, Int 2, Wis 15, Cha 10 right away. ps i'm just venting about how unbalanced Ac's are.

Bubbles will take the diagonal odd path lumbering into the room, Eko will as well, though being as small as he is isnt quite lumbering

Perhaps we should turn this entry way into a... Safe space, clear out some of the rubble and secure the area ? Also it does seem to be a sort of back door, i doubt we were intended to come in this way

Hippos do actually live in the water, they're so dense that they can sink and run on the bottom . Bubbles is quite sweet, just a bit damp but you get used to that. Eko digs through his satchel and feeds bubbles a piece of fruit, before placing a hand on his blade.

Unfortunately i cannot! I can however see in the dark, and i'm fair at stealth, So if our companions can keep an eye on bubbles, i can join you as a.. seeing eye frog Eko hops off Bubbles, whose ears wiggle and she makes a small hippo noise.

My name is Eko, I am from Garund. it is Irrelevant now, Bubbles and i cannot return. He says from atop his mighty steed, not with his seemingly usual brand of loud speech.

I simply mean that there must have been other expeditions in to the area before us, as such others could stored information which in turn could help in establishing a base camp. Failure in any way is not all that bad, so long as it is learned from. Eko who is normally quiet loud, speaks in a normal person tone, explaining his thought on the matter in a seeming switch of personality.

I am Eko! Knight of the vast swamps. Unfortunately my Companion Bubbles can not join us in here, but i am here on behalf of the High Mother to assist with the Undead situation and whatever other physical dangers the tower may pose! Eko stands, Arm across his chest, speaking in a clear boisterous tone, annoucing himself clearly before politely sitting down

So, to be upfront with everyone. The plan for Eko and Bubbles is in fact a couple levels of Mammoth rider eventually. Because everyone loves Dinosaur sized Hippo's Right?

Second, Bubbles will be spec'd out as a Tank and Bite focused Damage. With Eko being focused on Control type spells, So we got defense covered. Also Secondary Melee with Nature fang.

Eko Personality wise is...the Noble, friendly Prince charming type... Except a frog, So you know. Limits. He generally will try to get along with and help others out, it's just who he is. Eko is...Kind of a naive idiot who wants to see the good in everyone... Do with that information what you will..

As for where Eko is? likely staying, if in the Temple, he will insist on working off any debts or the cost of supporting him.

i'm open to questions if anyone wants to know specific Mechanics or background stuff.

Well, there's also Bubbles The Wonder Hippo. 17 AC and 17 HP is fairly tanky.
